Terminology of Colposcopy hintsight and its development to the present
Veselá, Lenka ; Turyna, Radovan (advisor) ; Černá, Milena (referee)
The subject of this thesis is the evolution of colposcopy like an examination method and also the evolution of descriptive characteristics from its beginnings to present. It also summarizes various actions of cervical cancer prevention taken among the population. Using colposcopy and cytology as it is now significantly helps to prevent cervical cancer by detecting precancerous lesions. However it should be used more regularly not just in case of a susceptive or positive colposcopic examination. Abnormal colposcopic biopsies are a subjekt for further pathological examination. Generally we can say that the number of fatal cases of cervical cancer is decreasing mainly because of the colposcopy. Let's hope for new enhancements of this method for the future.

Analysis of occurrence of selected kongenital disorders
PRANTLOVÁ, Veronika
The task of this thesis is to elaborate study of insect bite hypersensitivity incidence by the Old Kladrubian white horses. At the beginning of the thesis, problems of congenital disorders in general are summarized, such as origin of the disorders and the forming factors. Further, the insect bite hypersensitivity in horses as an allergic disorder with genetic predisposition is described. Original research concerns with analysis of all actual data of insect bite hypersensitivity incidence in population of Old Kladrubian horse and with analysis of selected horses´ progeny. Incidence of the disorder depends significantly on father of the foal and year of birth. No difference in morbidity between genders of foals was found. At the end the practical breeder´s advices are summarized.

Selected Risk Behaviour at the Secondary Schools in the Region of Domažlice
ČERNÁ, Pavlína
The topic of this bachelor thesis is ?Selected Risky Behaviour at the Secondary Schools in the Region of Domažlice?. Risky behaviour is a phenomenon threatening societies across all cultures. Its negative consequences can be intensified even more if it occurs at the adolescent age. Healthy development of adolescents is at risk under its influence. It affects the biological, psychological and social features not only at the time when the adolescent behaves risky but also in future when the individual has to bear the consequences of such behaviour. The thesis compromises of a theoretical part, in which selected forms of risky behaviour along with the protective factors that significantly affect this type of behaviour are briefly characterized. The goals stated are defined and the research in question, including the comparison of the results ascertained with the findings of other authors that are presented in the theoretical part, is described in the practical part. The occurrence of risky behaviour cannot be entirely eliminated, however, it can be reduced at least or it is possible to postpone its beginning. Primary prevention is used for this purpose. Monitoring of risky behaviour on which the practical part of this thesis is focused can be used as one of the basic evaluation tools for prevention. The research was conducted at the secondary schools in the region of Domažlice. These were various types of schools differently orientated ? a grammar school, a business secondary school and an apprentice school. The data of the learners of these schools were gathered on a quantitative basis through questionnaire investigation. The questionnaires were distributed among the responders at schools. Great emphasis was put on anonymity of the questionnaires and assuring the responders that the questionnaires filled in by them will not get in hands of any of the close authorities. Therefore the authority was not present when the learners were filling in the questionnaires. The highest validity of data could have been ensured in this way. On the basis of the data gained the hypotheses stated before were confirmed. The goal of the research was to map the occurrence of the selected risky behaviour at the secondary schools in the region of Domažlice. Comparison of the responders? involvement in risky behaviour for boys and girls was defined as the first of the individual goals. The other individual goal was to compare the occurrence of risky behaviour at the individual types of schools. The research obviously suggests that it is not possible to comprehensively define whether it is boys or girls who behave more or less risky. It can be only said that some selected phenomena are more typical of males, others of females, occurrence of others is comparable for both of them. When observing risky behaviour at the individual types of schools, the occurrence of unwanted phenomena is significantly higher at the apprentice school compared to the other types of school. The number of adolescents behaving risky in the region of Domažlice corresponds to the average of the Republic. The results of the thesis can be used for implementation of effective primary prevention, for the needs of further researches, and, last but not least, as a theoretical framework for education in this area.

The world financial crisis in 2008 struck banking sector significantly. This bachelor thesis explores impacts of the crisis on the Czech banking, maps structure and development of the Czech banking market and describes single types of credit products available in the Czech Republic. The following chapters are focused on transfer of the crisis from USA to the Czech Republic and on policy change of Czech banks. The goal of this thesis is the analysis of the volume of credit advanced for citiziens and entreprises, this analysis can be found in the last chapter.

Transcriptional analysis of cell cycle regulators during the induction phase of diapause in Chymomyza costata.
ŠIMŮNKOVÁ, Petra
The changes of relative mRNA levels of seven different genes, coding for key cell cycle regulatory factors (Cyclins D and E, kinases Wee1 and Myt1, Phosphatase Cdc25 (String), Dacapo (p27), and Pcna) were performed using qRT-PCR method. Two reference genes (Rp49 and ?-tubulin) served as a background. Significant transcriptional response to photoperiodic transfer were observed for two genes. While the relative levels of Dacapo mRNA increased during the rapid entry into G2 arrest, the Pcna expression was significantly downregulated during the beginning of G0/G1 arrest. Moderate transcriptional upregulations of the genes coding for two cell cycle inhibitory kinases, Wee1 and Myt1 accompanied the entry into diapause. The other genes were expressed equally in all photoperiodic conditions.

The application of artificial substrates for quantitative and qualitative study of macrozoobenthos.
MAČEJ, Jakub
Macrozoobenthos are aquatic invertebrates, usually bigger than approximately 2 mm, living on the bottom. The larvae of aquatic insects (mayflies, midges, caddisflies, etc.), worms, molluscs and crustaceans belong among its most important representatives. The study was performed on a pond channel of the experimental pond system of the FFPW Vodnany. The artificial substrates, made of plastic blocks from biological filters, were installed in five rows of five blocks (replications) to monitor the process of their colonization in order to evaluate their suitability for the monitoring of macrozoobenthos. At weekly intervals, one series of five artificial substrates was sampled to collect colonizing macroinvertebrates for further elaboration (determination, numbers). It was confirmed that under the conditions of a pond canal, the colonization of artificial substrates by benthic animals begins immediately during the first week of their deployment. Species diversity of macrozoobenthos, expressed in number of taxa in successive weeks afterwards was not significantly different. The results proved that artificial substrates are suitable for quantitative and qualitative monitoring of benthic macroinvertebrate assemblage.

Multiculturalism in Russia : Muslim population case study
Kemalov, Bulat ; Aslan, Emil (advisor) ; Žídková, Markéta (referee)
Many researchers say that the multiculturalism in Russia has emerged recently, but this term started to dеvеlop few dеcades ago. During this time period we have seen its significant change and improvement. Russian sociеty culturally is very divеrse. There are many different nаtions, culturеs, religions, and even civilizations living in Russia. The uniqueness of Russia consists in the fact that those different culturеs are its indigenous people. There is probably no other stаte in the world with such a high number of different culturеs living together relatively peacefully for centuries. Also, culturally diverse population of Russia is not composed of migrаnts as in the case of Europe or the USA. For this purpose the beginning of the thesis is dedicated to understanding of the term multiculturalism, cultural diversity, minority groups and similar. Multiculturalism developed significantly especially in the phase of last events which took place in the Wеst. The 9/11 has brought several changes. Also, the latest incidents (and the speeches of the several lеadеrs) in Europe have shown Europeans and the rest of the world that the situation in immigrаnt welcoming rеgions is not positive as before. This makes the policy of multiculturalism even more complicated in the light of present developments. The...

Rights and duties of a forest owner
Poláčková, Tereza ; Drobník, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee)
74 10. RESUME a NÁZEV PRÁCE V ANGLICKÉM JAZYCE " RIGHTS AND DUTIES OF FOREST OWNERS" SUMMARY - ENGLISH Forests cover about a third of the territory of the Czech Republic and they are an important component of our environment, landscape elements and - considering their production and non-production functions - part of the life of every one of us. This study attempts to describe and explain the rights and duties of an owner of this special subject of ownership. Since it is necessary to protect forests for the above mentioned reasons, our law contains a number of legal regulations governing the rights and duties of forest owners which must be followed by every forest owner. It is one of the aims of this study to discuss the provisions of these regulations which apply to forest owners. At the beginning, this study discusses the basic data on the forests in the Czech Republic, then it proceeds to explain the term 'ownership', and describe the main differences and particularities between forest ownership and 'regular' ownership. A forest owner is significantly limited in the exercise of his/her ownership rights, particularly by special acts such as Act No. 289/1995 Coll. (Forest Act), Act No. 114/1992 Coll. (Nature and Landscape Protection Act), Act No. 326/2004 Coll. (Act on Plant Health Care), and other. This...
