Statistic analysis of marketing data

This work analyses marketing data from tourist trade sphere. Statistical units are visitors of South Bohemia from season 2006. There were several points of research such as duration of stay, ways of travel organization, goals for visiting the region or quality assessment of services. Research data was analysed by percent occurrences, contingent tables and Cluster analysis. People who assessed quality of services were divided into four groups by the help of Cluster analysis. In light of utilizable resources were informants divided into five groups. This work investigate also relations between outcomes such as relation between average day costs and ways of residence organization, choosing of accomodation in dependance on travel organization and so on. The most frequent reason for visiting region is getting to know attractive tourist places. Following are tourism, sport, health and relaxation. In light of tourist trade is South Bohemia rated very well. Visitors were the most satisfied with catering services, care of sights and quality of tourist trade employees. Reversely quality of traffic ways should improve markedly. Foreign visitors also feel lack of plain local marking and transparent informations about region.

Industry of the South Bohemia Geographical approach of research of its development and current patterns

The main goal of the bachelor thesis is to describe current industrial production in the South Bohemian Region. The basic indicators used for evaluation of industry in each district and in the whole region are: the number of employees, basic capital and shared ownership, both domestic and foreign, in companies which are focused on the manufacturing industry. The thesis covers background knowledge and evaluation of industrial production. Also general attributes of industry historic development are introduced. The following indicators were taken into consideration during the evaluation: the legal form, the proprietary rights structure (mainly Czech, German and Austrian owners), the sectoral composition, the size structure and the geographical differentiation of industrial production. The work contains charts, graphs and maps.

The role of travel agents in tourism development in South County

The thesis analyzes QUICKTOUR travel agency . The analysis was focused on the promotion strategy, discounts , and especially the knowledge of product portfolio, a travel agency. The paper presents trends in tourism , which are reflected in the recommendation for a travel agency . Further work is part of the field investigation , which focused on general awareness of the travel office and also whether residents used the services of travel agencies. He was then designed a product that tries to thoroughly exploit the potential of tourism in South Bohemia. The product is designed for foreign clients and is focused on incoming - incoming tourism . Finally recommendations were designed for a travel agency , which should motivate new potential clients to visit a travel agency.

Migration of the population of South Bohemia in 2010

This bachelor´s thesis is dealing with population migration moves on internal, external and foreign level of migration in the South Bohemian Region in year 2010. The main part of work evaluates the migration balance and in special chapter analyzes regional administrative centre of Southern Bohemia. The thesis also examines migrational bindings on the case of inhabitants migration within the region. External migrational flows of inhabitants are evaluated separately, both within Czech Republic and foreign countries. The work contains structural analysis of migrants according to sex and age. Region is characterized from the social-geographic and demographic viewpoint.

Gemmotherapy as a method of regeneration (development of a tutorial for students of the Department Health Education)

The present Bachelor Thesis deals with gemmotherapy as an alternative method of therapy and regeneration of human organism. The aim of the Thesis is creation of a tutorial and its verification by students of the Health Education course of the Faculty of Education, University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. The theoretical part includes a detailed systematic review of available Czech as well as foreign specialised literature in view of an effective and sufficient presentation of basic theory and philosophy of gemmotherapy to teachers. The introductory part makes readers familiar with history and use of natural resources for regeneration of the organism; it describes the current situation and presents the facts concerning the arising of gemmotherapy. This is followed by basic principles which are used by gemmotherapy and by distribution of products. A comparison of Czech and world (especially French) gemmotherapy and particular specifics are mentioned as well. An important part is formed of a short chapter from the field of phytosociology of trees. The practical part describes creation of the tutorial - teaching plan and teaching materials. This part is followed by the methodology of research, preparation and course of a questionnaire survey, its results and summary. It is clear from the data acquired that the tutorial created is effective and that it can be used for the teaching of the new regeneration method - gemmotherapy.

The value orientation of students of the Faculty of Theology the University of South Bohemia in Budweis in their leisure time

This thesis deals with the value orientation of students of the Faculty of Theology the University of South Bohemia in Budweis in their leisure time. Firstly, there are explained the basic concepts, which are followed by a detailed overview of particular value concepts to their philosophical, sociological, pedagogical and psychological perspective. Furthermore, the classification values of the selected authors, roles of values and their importance in human life and society are presented in this thesis. Last but not least is this thesis focused on the researches of value orientations in both Czech and foreign literature. There is a chapter elaborated about the leisure time, its concepts, definitions of selected authors, functions of leisure time and its role in socioscientific contexts at the conclusion of the theory part. The main aim of the research is to describe and analyze the value orientation of students of the Faculty of Theology the University of South Bohemia in Budweis in their leisure time. The data obtained from a non-standardized questionnaire will be compared by gender, the age of students and their years of study at the Theological Faculty. Eventually, will be the evaluation and recomendation made for the use in practise.

THE RELATION OF CHILDREN TO FOREIGN LANGUAGE EDUCATION

The thesis "The relation of children to foreign language education" deals with the relation of pupils learning foreign languages in selected South Bohemian primary schools. The theoretical part deals with the conception of teaching foreign languages in the first Elementary schools in the Czech Republic, participants in the learning process and motivation in language education and learning foreign languages in kindergartens. The practical part is devoted to the questionnaire research, which determines the relation of pupils to learn foreign languages and their attitudes to the importance of foreign language knowledge. The questionnaires were designed for students from 5th classes in ten elementary schools in South Bohemia.

The Escape from Nazism. The Exile Art Scene in Bohemia 1933-1939

THE FLIGHT FROM NAZISM. THE EXILE ART SCENE IN BOHEMIA 1933-1939. The development of political situation in Germany during the thirties, when the Nazi Party radicalized and Adolph Hitler's power gradually became unlimited, meant not only a danger for the political opponents of fascism. The new state self-presentation as a successor to the Rome Empire of German nation is reflected even in reference to classicism in art creation. Artists, who did not meet the criteria of the Nazi regime or even commit to its disadvantage, had to choose asylum in countries where they could not only continue in free expression, but also where their lives had not been confronted with threats or danger. In addition to Great Britain, France and Netherlands, Czechoslovak 1st Republic became a haven for refugees from Nazism. This work is focused on the Czech environment, and especially artists, with whom the former foreign literature is dealing rather marginally, in the context of other artistic disciplines and countries providing asylum to emigrants. Not only politically or racially persecuted artists are investigated in this work, but also remigration itself - Czech Germans, who for similar reasons returned to their birthplaces. Bussines cooperation between Southern Bohemia and Spain

The aim of this thesis is to map the economical and business cooperation between Spain and the South Bohemian region. The thesis is divided into two thematic parts. The first of them is focused on the foreign trade between Spain and the Czech Republic (mainly on its evolution from 1997 up to now) and the commodities that are traded. There is also the list of Spanish companies that conduct business in the Czech Republic and the list of Czech companies that are represented in Spain. The next part of the thesis is aimed at the South Bohemian region and Spanish companies that are located in this area. The history of the companies and their products are described and other important information about them are presented. The last part of the thesis is dedicated to the effort of promotion of the South Bohemian region in Spain and to the description of the places that Spanish tourists want to visit.

Creation of the package tour in the incoming tourism

The aim of this project is to create a package tour in the incoming tourism, which was ordered by a foreign tour operator. The package tour is designed to be able to expand the range of tours to the Czech Republic from abroad. It is a cognitive package tour, which will introduce manufactory of typical Czech products to the participants. The participants will be allowed to taste all the products and also learn the production process and the town, where it originates. They are: Karlovy Vary and Becherovka, Pilsen and Pilsner beer, Old Plzenec and Bohemia Sekt, Pardubice and gingerbread, Loštice with Olomouc curd cheese and Mikulov with Czech wine.
