Protection of industrial property and international law

The protection of the Industrial Property Rights and International Law The crucial role of the Industrial Property Rights in the recent times is mainly caused by the globalization, especially in commerce. The main problem of Industrial Property Rights is its territoriality, e.g. each right need to be protected in every country where the protection is sought. However, there are some mechanisms that help to simplify such procedure (on international as well as on regional scheme). The aim of my final work is therefore to map the present situation connected to the legal aspects of the international protection related to the Industrial Property Rights. The work is divided into two parts - the first one deals with the basic terminology and description of the Industrial Property Rights together with its implementation into the International Private Law, International Public Law, European Law and national (Czech) law. Moreover, it explains the reciprocal interferences between the International Public and Private Law, European Law and national law. The second part is rather enumerative and it provides the overview of the international and regional treaties and organizations active in the field of Industrial Property Rights. Těžba v Predator-Prey modelu

The paper is focused on the Predator-Prey model modified in the case of harvesting one or both populations. Firstly there is given a short description of the basic model and the sensitivity analysis. The first essential modification is percentage harvesting. This model could be easily converted to the basic one using a substitution. The next modification is constant harvesting. Solving this system requires linearization, which was properly done and brought valuable results applicable even for the basic or the percentage harvesting model. The next chapter describes regulation models, which could be used especially in applying environmental policies. All reasonable regulation models are shown after distinguishing between discrete and continuous harvesting. The last chapter contains an algorithm for maximizing the profit of a harvester using econometrical modelling tools.

The development of social insurance

Social insurance is an important and indivisible part of the system of taxation within the Czech Republic and it is a very important part of public revenue. This thesis deals with the development of social insurance, especially with state health insurance and social security insurance, from the standpoint of transfer of insurance to the state budget. This thesis thoroughly analyzes the important changes among the years 2006, 2008 and 2009, and it also shows the changes of the basic parameter uses in the formulas for calculation of social insurance. The most important aspects are the minimum wage and average wage, minimum and maximum basis-of-measurement of insurance and rate of social insurance. This thesis also includes empirical analysis, which uses experimental models, to show the incidence of changes within social insurance, on the individual participants in the system of social insurance. In conclusion we find the summary of the most important changes of the particular years.

Chemistry - Geology relatives in the Science education

In my bachelor thesis I fixed myself on inter-subject relations between chemistry and geology in natural sciences in grammar schools. I looked up this theme in curricula for grammar schools and I made chemistry and geology school-books research. I selected several usual minerals and rocks with useful chemical composition and I wrote chemical and geological information about them. I found chemical experiments with this chemical substances, modified them and did them.

Evaluation of Body Composition of Soccer Players

Název: Hodnocení tělesného složení hráčů fotbalu. Title: Evaluation of body composition of soccer players. V této diplomové práci jsem sledoval vliv pohybového zatížení na tělesné složení hráčů fotbalu během jedné sezóny na podkladě antropometrického měření. V minulosti se již mnoho studií zabývalo analýzou různých parametrů u hráčů fotbalu (včetně antropometrických), ale jen několik z nich sledovalo antropometrický vývoj během takto dlouhého období. Cílem bylo zjistit změny ve složení lidského těla mezi měřením na začátku sezóny (5.1.2005), průběžným (1.5.2005) a konečným měřením (15.8.2005). Během celého období sledování docházelo k trvalému snižování údajů o váze a Body Mass Indexu. S výjimkou řasy nad hřebenem kosti kyčelní, se tloušťka kožních řas zmenšovala od prvního měření. Významné změny byly pozorovány u procentuálního úbytku tuku naměřeném na konci sezóny v kontextu s předešlými měřeními. Během měření byl také zaznamenán nárůst hmotnosti kostí a svalů. Usage and preservation of copyright in libraries providing public library and information services

Knihovny v moderním světě zaujímají významnou pozici. Postupně se tyto kulturní a paměťové instituce stávají důležitou součástí moderní společnosti, zvláště s přihlédnutím k plnění úkolů souvisejících s nástupem informační éry. Změna uspořádání knihoven, rozšíření jejich funkcí a nástup automatizace čin nosti knihoven, včetně jejich knihovních i informačních služeb, umožňuje po skytovat klientům těchto institucí kvantitativně i kvalitativně lepší a především rychlejší uspokojení jejich informačních požadavků. Jde o proces, který zahrnu je, nejen Evropu, ale v podstatě celý svět. Pochopitelně jeho součástí je i systém knihoven v České republice. Nástup elektronizace dokumentů, především v podobě digitalizace, podstatně mění i podobu fondů dokumentů knihoven. Ta ké se uplatňuje i zvýšenou měrou intemizace, připojování knihoven, v rámci ná rodního programu, k rychlostnímu internetu. Zmíněné změny, kterých bude v důsledku různých technických, informačních a uživatelských trendů, přibývat přináší mnoho nových otázek a řadu problémů. Mnohé z nich souvisí s právní problematikou. Právo zaujímá v knihovnictví i v činnosti samotných subjektů knihoven významnou pozici. Již v minulosti se plně uplatnila knihovnická le gislativa, v podobě různých zákonných norem a dalších právních předpisů při zakládání a funkci...

Multimodal Forms of Transportation in International Trade

Doprava sa dnes rozvíja v podmienkach pokračujúceho ekonomického rastu. Prepravné náklady sa podstatne líšia v závislosti na geografickej polohe. To podporuje reštrukturalizáciu dopravných systémov. Dominantné postavenie teda získavajú nejefektívnejšie druhy prepráv. Jedným z nich je i multimodálna preprava, ktorá je jedným z najperpektívnejších odvetví logistiky, a ktorá v sebe spája výhody jednotlivých druhov prepráv. Pomáha napĺňať nové riešenia jednotlivých dopravných systémov na princípe kombinácie s vysokým stupňom flexibility. K rozvoju multimodálnej prepravy významne prispieva rozvoj kontajnerovej a námornej prepravy.

Accident and Coincidence - the Influence of the Important Sport Events on the Accident Rate Immediately after Them

If the people are driving under the influence of alcohol the drive is more dangerous and the risk of the traffic accident is significantly higher than if the driver is not under the influence. One of the reasons of the traffic accidents caused by consumption of alcohol before the drive could be important sport events. This thesis which is operating with the day data from years 2007 to 2011 is researching the influence of important sport events in Czech Republic like the matches of the Czech football and hockey representation on the number of traffic accidents caused by the influence of alcohol. The thesis proved that the biggest influence on the number of traffic accidents had the football matches. Anyway, in the regress analyses on the five percent level of importance could have not been proved that important sport events have the influence on the number of the traffic accidents under the influence of alcohol.

Books in the court of the Rosenbergs

Přestože se zahraniční historické bádání - především německé - může pochlubit více či méně kvalitními výzkumy největších knihoven raněnovověké střední Evropy, ve srovnání například s knihovnami měšťanskými jsou dějiny šlechtických knihoven zpracovány zpravidla podstatně húře. 1 Starší, ale i někteří současní badatelé se často soustředí především na otázky týkající se jejich velikosti a organizace a přitom opomíjí oblasti výzkumu spjaté s funkcí knihoven a jejich užíváním. Zejména pokud jde o rozsáhlé šlechtické sbírky čítající několik tisíc svazků, Zll stává nedořešeným problémem, zda a jakou měrou byly skutečně aktivně využívány a jaký význam ve šlechtickém prostředí ve skutečnosti měly? Platí to i pro dějiny našich tří nejrozsáhlejších šlechtických knihoven předbělohorského období - rožmberské, žerotínské a dietrichsteinské. Jejich ucelený výzkum zůstává jedním z naléhavých desiderát české kulturní historie. Tento neutěšený stav samozřejmě souvisí i s okolností, že ani jedna z nich se nedochovala jako kompaktní celek. Torza těchto knihoven jsou navíc rozptýlená ve fondech různých - ještě k tomu navíc zahraničních - institucí, což jejich zkoumání velmi komplikuje. Tragický osud stihl knihovnu jihočeských Rožmberků, zrcadlící významné společenské a kulturní postavení jejich politicky angažovaných majitelů....
