Lohonka, Petr ; Smrčka, Luboš (advisor) ; Zámečník, Petr (referee)
This thesis focuses on the possible options for pension reform in the Czech Republic and their impact on family budgets, both in terms of payments in the economically active age, and then from the amount of pension at retirement age. In the theoretical (methodological) part are several possible scenarios of pension reform chosen from proposals to the Czech Republic and from the pension systems applied abroad too. There are described the main pillars and main differences between them and of course the difference from the current state of pension system in the Czech Republic. The entire chapter is devoted to the current state of pension system, because it is the starting point for each of the reforms. After describing all options of pension reforms in the theoretical (methodological) part, we focus on the practical part. There are described several model participants and for each participant are calculated present payments and future revenues, which depends on the variant of the reform. According to this testing we search for such a pension reform, that would be the best across social and income groups. At the end is this testing evaluated and the results of the entire work interpreted.

Generational Differences in Approach to Principles of Social-policy
HORELICOVÁ, Lucie
The main objective of the submitted thesis is to show the differences in the preference of principles of social policy between the generations 20 to 25 and 40 to 45 years, the extent and means of participation in the aforesaid representatives in public life and their demonstration of liberal values in today´s society. This work characterizes the values of the Czech society and emphasizes their displacement in the last twenty years. The theoretical part is focused on the characteristics of the basic principles of social policy, the definition of values and determinants enabling the formation of value orientations and attitudes. The main objective of this thesis is to identify specific social and politic principles which are fully acknowledged by both generations. The findings of generational differences regarding the participation in public life were set as the main goal. The younger generation inclines to the principle of social solidarity, justice and participation within the social policy scheme. The older generation prefers the principle of social solidarity, justice and participation. There were no remarkable differences found in terms of the participation in public life. The most fundamental difference is the form and frequency of volunteer service provision. Two main hypotheses were appointed for further research. The first hypothesis states that the preference of liberal values is higher for today´s generation between 20 and 25 than for the older generation. The second hypothesis assumes that the participation in public life of the younger generation involves physical activity more than financial contribution. The results of the survey did not prove the first hypothesis. The values of the generation between 20 and 25 years are not dramatically different from the values of the older generation. However, the second hypothesis was confirmed. Active participation in public life is a predomination regarding the younger generation. The necessary data were collected by means of a quantitative research questionnaire. The questionnaires were distributed amongst 156 respondents representing the younger generation and 102 respondents representing the older generation. The results of this thesis can be used as further study material for social policy and political science education, or as an information source for municipalities and non-governmental organizations regarding the participation of citizens in public life.

Physiotherapeutic procedures in patients with rheumatoid arthritis with maximum difficulties in the joints of the hand area
LEDVINOVÁ, Eva
This bachelor thesis is focused on physiotherapeutic methods used in patients with rheumatoid arthritis whose difficulties are mainly in the joints of their hand. Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic inflammatory joint disease in most cases with a protracted course and it may cause joint deformations. These lead to handling issues which complicate normal daily activities of the patients. Thus this disease causes both physical disability of the patient and as well significantly disrupts their social and psychological life. In the first part, which is concerned with theory, I briefly outlined the functional anatomy and kinesiology of the upper limb and shoulder girdle. Furthermore there is a detailed description of rheumatoid arthritis, definition of the disease, its causes and occurrence, clinical features, laboratory and x-ray examination, differential and functional diagnosis and all the treatment possibilities. In the conclusion of theoretical part there is the prognosis of the disease and practical difficulties during the care of patients with rheumatoid arthritis. The aim of this thesis is to map the possibilities of physiotherapy in patients with rheumatoid arthritis and the use of physiotherapeutic procedures and methods in individual patients with this disease. The qualitative research method, in which three patients treated in Berta Spa in Třeboň participated, was used for the practical part of the thesis. The therapy was initiated by an entrance kinesiological analysis, including the specific examination such as the examination of joint-play in small joints of hands, examination of the gripping, palpation of muscle tonus in muscles of the upper limbs and goniometric examination of joints of the upper limbs. This was followed by nine individual therapies, during which we focused mainly on upper limb joints. At the last session an output kinesiological analysis was conducted and the patients were taught about the necessity to comply with regime measures. At the end they spoke about their subjective feelings connected with the therapy and with their Balneotherapy stay in the spa. The results of the treatment were recorded for each individual case. This bachelor thesis may serve as an educational material for students in medical fields, general public to increase awareness of rheumatoid arthritis and last but not least for patients themselves or their families.

A school for healthy and physically active lifestyle in pupils of elementary school in Netolice
HOLUB, Jan
This thesis focuses on differences in locomotive activity between 13 ? 16 years old boys and girls during one week of 8th and 9th class. Research was carried out between from 18th ? 26th of September 2012 at the Elementary School Bavorovská in Netolice. The research was conducted by means of pedometer Yamax SW-700. The total amount of participants was 34 students, which included 20 boys and 14 girls. Additionally, the students participated in measurements conducted by ActiTrainer accelerometer recorded in the overall number of 56 daily records. In addition to the machine measurements, students were asked to fill in a questionnaire of their sport preferences on the webpage INDARES.COM. The data were analysed in the centre for kinanthropology research at Palacky University in Olomouc. The results do not confirm a hypothesis H1, which suggests that students do not exceed the recommended amount of locomotive activity. The data obtained during my research confirm a hypothesis H2, which states that boys are more active in their physical activities than girls. Additionally, a hypothesis H3 is also confirmed as boys prefer to participate in collective sports and girls in rhythmic and dancing activities. Hypothesis 4 is also considered to be correct since it has been proven that boys are more active than girls in terms of their movement during the class break. This thesis was produced as a part of research investigation MŠMT č. 619895221 ?Locomotive activity and inactivity of inhabitants of Czech Republic in the context of behavioural changes.?
