TITLE: The Portage Project SUMMARY: My bachelor work deals with a description of the Portage programme and its usage in daily routine . The programme has been made in terms of a child's development and that is why the theoretical part is based on knowledge which refers to child' s ontogenesis. Some other programmes , which can be used for stimulation of further children's development , are introduced in the text too .All together with some work programmes my work describes possibilities of an early care and solving of other education at schools. The programme is well founded in pedagogical diagnostics , so I described it in one chapter.The research part of my work turns to specification of usage of the Portage programme in early school institutions as well as detention centres. To investigate it I used a questionnaire.The individual questions are presented in a graphic way . Observation of non invasive and invasive screening cerebral vessels from the radiologic assistants view.

The subject my thesis was ? Observation of non invasive and invasive screening cerebral vessels from the radiologic assistants view". In the theoretical parts I explore the disorder of blood - vessel in cerebral occurrence (CMP) and its diagnosis. It is about the acute illness caused by closure of some of the cerebral arteries and resulting in vapidity brain (ischemic) or bleeding to the brain (haemorrhage). It ranks among the most frequent causes death in developed countries. The practical part includes research of usage non invasive and invasive depict methods in brain and cerebral vessels diagnostics. I processed quantitatively the statistical data which I gained from the Radio-diagnostic Ward in hospital in Ceske Budejovice. The result of this emerges from superiority of non-invasive screening above invasive one. In the non- invasive depict methods in diagnosis of CMP most often uses computation tomography (68 %), which for a certainty will distinguish ischemic from haemorrhage. Magnetic resonance (7 %) is more sensitive method at ischemic diagnostics. Another method is the ultra-sonography (13 %), in which we can assess the level of stenos/occlusion screened vessel. As the only vice invasive methods is catetrizac angiography (12 %), which is considered as the golden standard in displaying the blood - vessel bed. Its advantage is the possibility to join endovascular intervention. The next aim was to compare the role of radiologic assistant during single screening. It was necessary to find common point in practical activities of the radiologic assistant at both types o screening and to show the differences in specific substance and the work demands.

Field Programmable Gate Arrays Usage in Industrial Automation Systems

Tato disertační práce se zabývá využitím programovatelných hradlových polí (FPGA) v diagnostice měničů, využívajících spínaných IGBT tranzistorů. Je zaměřena na budiče těchto výkonových tranzistorů a jejich struktury. Přechodné jevy veličin, jako jsou IG, VGE, VCE během procesu přepínání (zapnutí, vypnutí), mohou poukazovat na degradaci IGBT. Pro měření a monitorování těchto veličin byla navržena nová architektura budiče IGBT. Rychlé měření a monitorování během přepínacího děje vyžaduje vysokou vzorkovací frekvenci. Proto jsou navrhovány paralelní vysokorychlostní AD převodníky (> 50 MSPS). Práce je zaměřena převážně na návrh zařízení s FPGA včetně hardware a software. Byla navržena nová deska plošných spojů s FPGA, která plní požadované funkce, jako je řízení IGBT pomocí vícenásobných paralelních koncových stupňů, monitorování a diagnostiku, a propojení s řídicí jednotkou měniče.

Usage Local Light Radiation for the Diagnostic Method of Photovoltaic Cells

This thesis is focused on the area of analysis and diagnostic of monocrystalline solar cells, using local light radiation. Main goals of this thesis are focused on explanation of generation and behavior microplasma in solar cell, in dependence of temperature and reversed bias voltage. As a next focus of this thesis is strong regions of microplasma sources, analyzed by scanning electron microscope and a detailed analysis of edge and surface structure is made. The influence of the environment (air pressure, level of vacuum and nitrogen gas) on the microplasma generation and behavior is observed in the vacuum chamber of electron microscope. The results from microplasma method are correlated with noise diagnostic method and on the base of these results are set a new thesis and mathematical equations for the defects behavior in different conditions. The outcomes of the research are shared with the manufacturer od silicon solar cells, Solartec s.r.o. company. It is the advanced diagnostic methods that allow improving the quality of the production process, through early detection of individual groups of defects.

Analysis of pulse wave propagation in aorta

This master thesis is focused on usage of monitoring pulse wave propagation in aortic system in a field of diagnostic abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA). There is a description of cardio-vascular system and its pathology in a form of AAA. A summarization of temporary diagnostic method was created and some new methods were proposed. This new methods presume monitoring of pulse wave propagation. Fluid structure interaction (FSI) analyses of pulse wave propagation were performed on simplified models of geometry which representing specific sections of aorta. The goal of these analyses was to prove usage of FSI method in a future development of proposed diagnostic methods.

Laboratory diagnostic of the thrombofilic diseases.

The thesis describes the occurance of trombophilic attacs and about their diagnostic possibilities in women with recurent spontaneous abortions. In the study, the sample of women tested were the ones who subscribed for treatment in the 2nd internal disease clinic - Department of clinical hematology of Faculty hospital and Medical faculty Univerzity Karlovy in Hradec Kralove in years 1995-2007. I have also used the materials from archive whilst investigating some samples from past. I was actively involved in this investigation in last couple of years. During writing conclusion of the knowledge gained, following criteria from the literature of our choice and search were used based on the described importance of trombophylic attacs with rising incidence of is capture: age - in this part we used the median of age from the observed sample number of undertaken abortions - this parameter has a great significancy, however it is needed to overview whole period of pregnancy, afterwhich the abortions arose (in first trimester is crucial third abortion and in second trimester the second abortion has been under the count) number of newborn children - the risk of spontaneous abortion is rising with every child the period of using contraception - the usage of contraceptives can in an early stage show the...

The general part gives the information about incidence, aetiology, possible complications, conservative, and radical healing procedures. Furthermore, it points to usage of physiotherapist procedures which can be used for this diagnosis. The special part includes the case of patient with lesio of anterior cruciatum ligament. It was worked out during the special practices in the Centre of treatment for locomotive organs in Vysočany in the term of 10th January - 4th February 2011 The purpose of my work is first of all, the search procedure of the requested topic and secondly, the detailed case of patient with lesio of anterior cruciatum ligament. Alloimmunization in transfusion medicine

In theoretic parts of the thesis are common problems of the immunology described with reference to its usage in blood - transfusion medicine. In more detail described meaning of blood groups and clinical meaning of antibodies against erythrocytes with reference to safe blood - transfusion and rise haemolytic disease of newborn. Thesis provide an overwiev of clinically most considerable antibodies. Further are immunohaematology investigative methods decribed used for diagnostic of alloimunization inclusive groovy used diagnostics in applying the provision basic pre-transfusion investigation. In practical parts of the thesis investigation survey is presented focused on inmates with positive screening irregular antibodies, near which were ascertained specific antibodies in several systems blood groups and further row casuistries with recommendation for safe compatible blood - transfusion. Evaluation of food and diet in disease phenylketonuria

This diploma thesis pursues the hypothesis, that strict abiding or failures in low protein diet are deciding about the health of patients with phenylketonuria. The goal of the thesis was to evaluate the composition of the diet for selected set of patients from the dietological and nutritious point of view in dependence on individual health condition, to compare the values with the diet of healthy people and to evaluate the availability of special healthcare and nutrition for phenylketonuria patients.
The summary of literature gives informations about phenylketonuria, causes of its origin, metabolism of phenylalanin, diagnostics, possibilities of treatment, risks
of repercussion of not treating, impact of nutrition composition of patients' health and dietological recommendations.
For assessment of the bilance of nutrients and energy in the diet of phenylketonuria patients a group of 10 people was selected with different age, sex and dietary level, 5 people with phenylketonuria a 5 healthy persons. For each person a detailed weekly diet was setup and nutritious intake was evaluated, observed was daily intake of Phe, protein, fat, carbohydrate and energy. For persons with phenylketonuria the nutritious was evaluated
in two steps, with and without usage of medical agent. The values of the patients were compared with healthy persons.
From the results a necessity of using medical amino acid agents was derived, in other case there is a risk of serious deficit of protein intake, for some also of fat and energy.
A complicated situation arises for women with phenylketonuria, who plan pregnancy.
The research implies necessity of strict adherence to low protein diet before conception and frequent monitoring of Phe blood values during pregnancy.
The diet must be compiled cautiosly with considering the individual state of patiens,
a thorough education from childhood to adulthood is recommended. The situation would be simplified with a better approach of the state in the area of compensation the costs for foods, but also additional support for phenylketonuria patiens, to improve especially the availability of special foods for low protein diet and treatment possibility.
