The work is divided into two main parts, the first dealing with the analysis of available information, the second creating the design and the code.
REFLEKTOR - Web System for Teaching Support

This thesis deals with design and implementation of a web application to support interactive tuition in programming within the IZP - Course of Programming Essentials. It enables students submit their own solutions to a specific task and allows them to review some tasks completed by other students. Web pages are created with respect to maximum accessibility of their content and functionality. Their layout and controls are designed in such manner to make them accessible both by alternative browsers as well as by people with specific needs. The application design is created using the UML modelling language. The very application is implemented using the PHP script language together with theXHTML, cascade style sheets (CCS) and the MySQL database system. This thesis also focuses on implementation of the system on FIT websites and its utilisation by students.

Web Interface for Image Processing

This paper concerns design and implementation of a system which provides easier control of digital image processing console applications. The work is based on threes information technology domains: distributed systems, image processing and web technologies. The system consist of number of separated components communicating with each other in order of processing desired tasks. Control interface and the task daemon are implemented in PHP language. Image processing programs are implemented in C language using OpenCV graphic library. Control of the system is carried out through web graphical interface using dynamic control components implemented in Javascript language, jQuery library and jQueryUI interface. Part of the work is also a description of employment of the system in practical use in two environments, experiments concerning system performance and web interface user acceptance testing.
Generating PDF Documents from Web Pages

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the generation of PDF documents from web pages. The source of the data is the CSSBox Java library, which provides components of the web page in Java object form. The main goal of this thesis is to process the data and using the Apache PDFBox library, to create a PDF document equivalent to the source page.

Essential part of the project is focused on software engineering, object-oriented application design. System is implemented in PHP with the support of MySQL database. Route searching engine will be using method of artificial intelligence.
