Human-Computer Interaction with Laser Pointer
Pavlín, Václav ; Ševcovic, Jiří (referee) ; Šolony, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the design and implementation of a system for controlling a PC via a laser pointer on a projection screen. Using a laser pointer can completely replace a computer mouse. The system simulates mouse cursor movements and clicks. The application uses homography for automatic camera calibration as well as for the conversion of coordinates between the image on the projection screen and the image on the computer.
Data Processing from GPS Receiver
Srnec, Pavel ; Orság, Filip (referee) ; Dvořák, Radim (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is about data processing from GPS receiver, specifically about surface maps. In the beginning part, principles of GPS technologies and NMEA protocol are described to understand calculation actual position on the map using geographic coordinates. It analyses communication with GPS receiver, data processing to maps and display position. Concept and implementation of final application, which is proposed as graphical user interface, is descibed. Application has been tested in terrain with GPS receiver u-blox 5 and results behavior application are at the end of bachelor. As a result of the bachelor, executed targets and requierement is summarized and possibilities of uprading project are analysed.
Parametric Geometry Sketch Tool
Zápotočný, Matej ; Řezníček, Ivo (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the creation of a parametric geometry sketch tool that is intended to be a teaching tool for pupils and students in elementary and high schools. The main objective was to program an application that allows the user to input parametrical data in many ways, then to draw objects and show necessary informations. The program is written in C++ with wxWidgets widget toolkit.
AeroWorks - Navigation Simulator (VOR & NDB)
Kubeňák, Róbert ; Hanáček, Petr (referee) ; Chudý, Peter (advisor)
This thesis deals with the issues of air navigation, specifically the radio navigation. The application simulates the activity of a radio indicator VOR and NDB. Simple application should help new pilots with the explanation how the radio navigation works, to help them understand the different states of the indicator, and last but not least to instruct how following these beacons will help to navigate the aircraft.
Tax Documentation System for Linux
Prouza, Jakub ; Michal, Bohumil (referee) ; Kašpárek, Tomáš (advisor)
This thesis is about concept and implementation of a system uses for simple tax account management in GNU/Linux operating systems. The application has been created by wxWidgets tools library and user's data are saved and encrypted into a SQLite database. Present situation of programs for tax account management under GNU/Linux systems and the goals of this concept are described in the first chapter. The next chapter is describing terms and procedures which are necessary for understanding of tax account management according law. Other chapters deal with the concept itself and the implementation. Conclusion of the thesis is devoted to a review of benefits and further development of the concept.
Voice Recording and Search for Skype
Nytra, Jiří ; Szőke, Igor (referee) ; Schwarz, Petr (advisor)
This work deals with the creation of a program communicating with Skype, which provides record calls in which can search for keywords by using advanced speech recognition technology. The work is presented and the interface protocol to communicate with Skype, call recording and method LVCSR for searching keywords.
Code
Belica, Michal ; Janoušek, Vladimír (referee) ; Martinek, David (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes implementation of plugin of Code
Generating Realistic Tree Models
Kučerňák, Martin ; Nečas, Ondřej (referee) ; Polok, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis deals with generating realistic tree models. It describes briefly growth of trees and factors that influence growth. Next, it describes development of methods for tree generation, and describes few chosen methods. After that, simple stochastic method for generating trees is designed, and application, in which the method is implemented, is described. Trees created by this method are then compared with existing methods and aplications, and its qualities are discussed. Then areas with room for improvement are named.
Evaluation of Chosen Tree Search Methods
Tříska, Vít ; Lukáš, Roman (referee) ; Honzík, Jan M. (advisor)
A function to search is widely used operation in all possible forms. Recent developments show increasing importance of far more effective search methods. That is why this work deals with an evaluation of the fastest search methods at present time, namely AVL tree, red-black tree, splay tree and skip list. Moreover, it tries to recommend them for their correct usage. A supplementary goal of this thesis is to create a learning tool (study aid), which would facilitate better understanding of pitfalls of each individual search method.
Skrysovec - Software for Geocaching Support
Kyselák, Antonín ; Herout, Adam (referee) ; Szőke, Igor (advisor)
This work is focused on requirements analysis, design and implementation of the software for geocaching support. It studies applications of same type a tries to design similar, but multiplatform alternetive to these used tools. Application is useful for common users, the geocaching players, which want to have data always with themselve and to be able to work with them. Application is simply extensible and designed to spread over wide sphere of use, thanks to its multiplatform and multilinglual feature.
