NOVÁKOVÁ, Markéta
Family Dendrobatidae ranks among three of the most tradable families from amphibian class in the international trade. This is one of the reasons of family downsizing. Some of Dendrobatidae species are included in the international agreement CITES appendix II. The aim of this thesis is focused on a trade of the family Dendrobatidae in the Czech Republic and other countries in 1978-2015. The CITES Trade Database was the main source for this thesis. The thesis deals with a development of time-dependent trade, individual tradable species, countries involved in the trade with the Czech Republic, the purpose of the trade and source of trade origin. The most imported species were Ameerega picta, Dendrobates auratus and Ameerega trivittata. The export became predominant compare to the import. Species Dendrobates auratus, Phyllobates vittatus and Epipedobates boulengeri were frequently exported. Species of the family Dendrobatidae were traded alive except for two records. The Czech Republic is dominated by the import of individuals from the wild than captive individuals. The opposite state was proved in case of export. The time-dependent trend is generally decreasing in the Czech Republic.
CONSUMER PROTECTION IN CZECH REPUBLIC AND EUROPEAN UNION
ŠVEJDA, Pavel
A consumer ´s protection is relatively young and dynamically developing discipline which blends with other branches for example the economy, the law, the business, the marketing etc. This graduation theses describes the consumer ´s protection in the Czech Republic in comparison with the European Union. The Czech Republic made a tremendous progress in adopting Union ´s norms in recent years, but still is behind stricter norms of the western countries. In the Czech Republic still dominates inexperienced and ignorance of the Czech consumers in relation to their rights. Accordingly to this, it is necessary to make other steps, which will inform much more the consumer about his or her rights. Higher informedness, stricter application of norms and the laws, and their verification in business use will lead to the existence of more perfect internal market of free trade.

Lavičková, Michaela ; Crossan, William Morea (advisor) ; Kaprálková, Michaela (referee)
Name: Television coverage of women athletes during Olympic Games Goal: The main goal of this thesis is to summarize the television broadcasts of the Czech and Finnish public service broadcasters of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, primarily from the perspective of gender balance. Further goal is to compare the broadcasts of both broadcasters. Methods: The methods of analysis and comparison were used in this paper. The method of analysis was applied in the analysis of individual broadcasting days, in which the time devoted to each sport and gender was calculated and the type of broadcast was recorded. The method of comparison was then applied when comparing the estimated proportion of the time women were given in the broadcast with the time actually given to them. The same method was also used when comparing the Czech and Finnish broadcasts of the Tokyo 2022 Olympic Games. Results: On the basis of the processed data, it was found that the broadcast balance can be evaluated in several ways and depending on the method of its calculation it is even possible to reach opposite conclusions. In any case, using a more complex method, it was found that both Czech and Finnish broadcasts are gender balanced, while Finnish broadcasts are less stereotyped, more varied and more balanced both in terms of gender and...

Musilová, Kristýna ; Bahenský, Vojtěch (advisor) ; Ditrych, Ondřej (referee)
This thesis aims to present policy recommendations in the area of public-private cooperation to counter hybrid interference, especially cyber threats. Research of this kind is unique in Czech academia. There has not been a single published paper that would comprehensively tackle the issue of public-private cooperation as a tool to achieve societal resilience towards hybrid threats. The first part of the research is focused on the Norwegian cooperation model and identifies tools and mechanisms thanks to which was societal resilience-building successful. The second part of the thesis analyses the current situation in the Czech Republic and attempts to identify shortcomings in hybrid threat resilience. The core of the research consists of eighteen semi-structured interviews with the representatives of the Norwegian and Czech public and private sectors. The result is policy recommendations for the Czech government based on an open-source data analysis supplemented by information from the interviews. These recommendations specify applying Norwegian collaboration tools between the public and private sectors. The key suggestions are the implementation of the "system of POCs", preparation of crisis scenarios, which is to a certain extent follow-up of the so-called "standard operating procedures" prepared...
Restitution the Church Property in the Czech Republic After 1989
Valeš, Václav ; Hrdina, Antonín (advisor) ; Opatrný, Aleš (referee)
Václav Valeš: Restitution of Church Property in the Czech Republic After 1989 This work describes the sensitive theme of church property restitution in the Czech Republic after 1989. Two laws of restitution accepted from 1990 to 1991 (the law Nr. 298/1990 Coll. and the law Nr. 338/1991 Coll.) solved in particular the activities of Roman Catholic religious orders and congregations. The common law solving church restitutions generally was in 1992 and 2008 not accepted and this situation continues today. This situation restricts churches and religious societies in their work in many areas. A tiny proportion of their properthy were churches and religious societies returned by another way (executive way between 1996-1998, declaratory action).Besides the analysis of existing legislation this work also contains relating judicature of the Constitutional and Supreme Court of the Czech Republic. Keywords confessional law, the Czech Republic, church property, restitution process after 1989
