Radar-Based Speed Measurement of Sport Projectiles
Bezděk, David ; Široký, Adam (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with a proposal and implementation of application, that extracts speed information of sport projectiles from radar data. Firstly, there is description of radar, Doppler's effect and especially continuous-wave radar. Then the bachelor’s thesis continues with signal processing issues, after which speed can be calculated. In next part there is a describtion of collecting real data and their evaluation. In the last part there is a summary of the thesis, eventual use of the application and it's possible extensions.
Section Speed Measurement for Traffic Analysis
Kubíčková, Pavla ; Špaňhel, Jakub (referee) ; Sochor, Jakub (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on section speed measurement for traffic analysis. This thesis desribes existing methods of detection of license plates and classification of their characters. Methods of cascade classifier and classifier SVM are described in this work. Evaluation of individual parts of the system is processed in the final section.
Cloud Application for Traffic Analysis
Valchář, Vít ; Sochor, Jakub (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to create a cloud application for traffic analysis without knowing anything about the system. The only input is address of the web camera pointing at traffic. This application is build on existing solution which is further enhanced. New modules for removing obstacles (such as lamppost covering part of the road) and splitting overlapping cars were added. The whole cloud solution consists of multiple components which communicates by HTTP messages and are controlled by web interface.
Measurement of data network transmission parameters
Haško, Juraj ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of possible methology description of met- hods for measuring transmission parameters of data networks, and comparison of the measuring methodology for determining the appropriateness of use before a certain type of network. It includes a proposal workplace for measurement of transmission parameters.
Methods for measuring transmission parameters of data networks
Modrák, Zdeněk ; Škorpil, Vladislav (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
Study and benchmarking methodology description of methods for measuring transmission parameters of data networks were the objectives of bachelor’s thesis. My sources were the RFC standards. Those are the basic recommendations of internet networks. I tested web applications for measuring transmission parameters. The test was based on the study of RFC 2544 and also I tested utility for the Linux operating system. I designed a web application for measuring basic parameters of data networks. Basic parameters are transmission stream from the server to the user, the transmission stream from the user to the server, delay and stability. Design of the application was based on experiences from testing web applications and utility. The application is using PHP server’s language along with MySQL database and JavaScript client’s language. The application also works on smart phones and tablets. The measured data should be presented by graphs.
Stroboscope tachometers
Hortai, František ; Vágner, Martin (referee) ; Beneš, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis describes the design of a rotation measuring device using stroboscopic effect. In the first part of my work I have studied the solutions to the problems of rotation measuring, followed by description of the stroboscopic effect. Individual chapter presents a market research of the commercial strobe tachometers. The practical part proposes and designs an own stroboscope. The stroboscope allows manual adjustment, external synchronization, phase shifting. Electronics is controlled by a microcontroller from Atmel, the light source are power LEDs. It was designed a two-sided circuit board by using Eagle Professional 6.1.0. The circuit board was brought to function by planting the components on it. Development continued by creating the driving program for the microcontroller. The end result of my work is functional stroboscopic tachometer in a box together with the necessary electronic components serving for its proper functioning.
Speed Measurement Using Radar
Martinů, Lukáš ; Široký, Vít (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
Bachelor's thesis is focused on method of object's speed detection using a low-cost continuous wave radar module. In the first section, it describes differences between basic types of radar modules and their fundamental principles. The main part of thesis is dedicated to signal processing of radar modules K-MC1, K-MC4, that contents data to analyze moving objects. Doppler effect is used to determine the object's relative speed. Moreover, there is used FSK technique to measure the distance and there are solved issues associated with cosine factor. To verify the performance and stability, the application is tested on a several appropriate objects. In the end, the implemented application is evaluated and the possible continuation of this work is stated.
Traffic Analysis from Video
Sochor, Jakub ; Španěl, Michal (referee) ; Herout, Adam (advisor)
Radar-Based Speed Measurement for Sport Events
Radoš, Daniel ; Polok, Lukáš (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
The Bachelor thesis is dedicated to speed measurement focused on sport events. In introduction of this thesis, basic principles of radar and their dividing are mentioned. Following part of thesis is dedicated to continuous wave radar, using Doppler effect and also principle of sequential signal processing, followed by resultant speed calculation of measured object. Ultimately, selected methods are implemented and tested using real data. In the end, the implemented application is evaluated and the possible continuation of this work is stated.
Doppler's sensor beat freqeuncy proccessing
Dušek, Martin ; Macho, Miloslav (referee) ; Fuchs, Michal (advisor)
This work is engaged in ways of objects speed measuring mainly helped by Doppler Effect. The sensor HB410 is described in this work and its possible elaboration output heterodyne analog signal. The calculation of objects speed is deduced from frequency of heterodyne signal. In this work is projected circuit solution for elaboration of analog signal and its digitalization. Available types and nature of microcontrollers which are elaborating digital signal and communicating with PC are summarized in this work. In the last chapter is described microcontroller's driving software and PC software for speed measure.
