Nursing care of the patient with ovarian cancer
Hladíková, Ivana ; Holubová, Jana (advisor) ; Tikovský, Karel (referee)
The objective of this work is elaboration of case study, nursing care of the patient with ovarian cancer, 63 years old patient has been hospitalized on the clinic of gynecology and obstetric because of gynecology operation. The theoretical part deals with general introduction to the anatomy and physiology of female genital organs, here are shown some risk factors for ovarian cancer, symptoms and current possibilities of diagnosis and treatment of ovarian cancer. Nursing part contains description of nursing care of the patient in early post operating time. The nursing care has been performed by the theory of nursing process. Evaluation has been performed by the model of Marjory Gordon. Meaningful part of this work is a chapter about the educations. The work is finished by lists of references, abbreviations and completed by several supplements. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)
Human activity classification
Müller, Jakub ; Smital, Lukáš (referee) ; Smíšek, Radovan (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis describes daily activity classification using accelerometric data. The first theoretical part summarizes the basics about daily activity and benefits that we get from monitoring it. In the next part of theory the principles of accelerometer inner workings are described. The last part of theory is dedicated to explaining the basics of neural networks and SVM. The aim of the practical part was to find a suitable dataset from a publicaly shared database, containing daily activity accelerometric data and also to collect our own data. Then performing classification using our own algorithm, optimizing it and finally evaluating the results.
Anomaly detection for stock market trading data
Fusková, Martina ; Kofroň, Jan (advisor) ; Kliber, Filip (referee)
Stock trading is a very complex topic that involves a lot of challenging problems. One of these problems is anomaly detection in trading flow. Real-time anomaly detection in time series is a very complicated task and thus this issue is still open. The aim of this thesis is to research various models and algorithms that can be used for this task and try to find the most fitting ones. We develop models that detect anomalies based on the density properties of the data as well as statistical models and neural networks that detect anomalies based on the comparison of predicted data and actual data. As a result we propose models that can be further researched and used in real-time environment.
Detection of source code plagiarism
Bláhová, Barbora ; Harabiš, Vratislav (referee) ; Kašpar, Jakub (advisor)
The purpose of this thesis is to introduce the matters of plagiarism of source codes and to suggest methods, that will be used to create the original plagiarism detector. Theoretical part of the thesis states the definitions and the most common methods of plagiarism, both in general and in source codes. Furthermore it presents already existing types of the detectors and states principals, according to which the detection can be performed. Practical part deals with implementation of detecton and it´s testing.
Plagiarism detection in programme codes
Skoupilová, Alena ; Vítek, Martin (referee) ; Kašpar, Jakub (advisor)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce the meaning of plagiarism and its types and occuration in academic field in form of textual plagiarism and mainly source-code plagiarism. Thesis also introduces principals and types of source-code plagiarism detection and introduces existing detecting tools. A detector for computing source-code similarity based on detection and counting chosen attributes is being realized and described. Reability of the detector is tested within students’ projects database.
Sleep scoring using artificial neural networks
The aim of this work is dealing with a hyperkinetic syndrome - ADHD of students of high schools. There was monitored an amount of information, which teachers of the South Moravian region have about ADHD symptoms. This research was based on a questionnaire of KADDS (Sciutto et al., 2000) consisiting of three subscales. The survey involved 118 respondents. The results show, that teachers have better knowledge about ADHD symptoms than general information in this problematic ADHD. One third of the teachers came into contact with more than 5 students diagnosed with ADHD. That could be the reason better knowledge of the symptoms of ADHD. The knowledge about ADHD is lower in Czech Republic than in the world. It would be advisable to increase awareness and knowledge about ADHD among teachers in secondary vocational schools, to ensure cooperation with experts. The conclusion outlined recommendations for educational practice.
Anemia in Intensive Care from the Perspective of a Nurse
Dubická, Zuzana ; Brixiová, Simona (advisor) ; Hrabánková-Navrátilová, Darja (referee)
v AJ: This thesis deals with the subject of anemia. The theoretical part of the Master's thesis is concerned with an overview of the well-known types of anemia, their etiology, diagnostics, symptoms and treatment. The practical part observes the awareness of the issue within the non-medical sanitary staff working at the intensive care units without professional supervision. The data will be collected in the form of structured questionnaires filled by a selected group of respondents. The thesis is, in the outcome, an educational material that can be used for comprehensive understanding of this issue in the adaptation process. The results of the research will be processed into tables with graphs. They will be summarized in the discussion as well as in the conclusion.

Štolfová, Lucie ; Marádová, Eva (advisor) ; Kovaříková, Miroslava (referee)
TITLE: Anorexia Nervosa and Its Long-term Impact on Treated Patients AUTHOR: Lucie Štolfová DEPARTMENT: Department of Education SUPERVIZOR: PeaDr. Eva Marádová, CSc. ABSTRACT: This bachelor thesis deals with the psychiatric disorder called anorexia nervosa. The thesis aims to highlight the signs and symptoms, which are particularly characteristic for this kind of eating disorder. The most important goal is to prove that anorexia is a chronic disorder, lasting perhaps several years to decades. Secondly, the thesis also demonstrates which habits still remain with patients even after they had gone through the treatment and tried to return back to their everyday lives. The theoretical part defines anorexia nervosa, shows its historical background, aetiology, epidemiology, treatment, physical complications and prognosis. The practical part evaluates information from respondents who had been diagnosed with anorexia nervosa and gone through medical/psychiatric treatment. The method used was of a qualitative nature, this included a written questionnaire consisting of semi-open questions which was followed by an individual semi-structured interview. KEY WORDS: Anorexia nervosa, signs, eating disorder, food, habits, body, diet.
