Bird territory Jaroslavické rybníky and it's use in natural history class
Sobotková, Petra ; Andreska, Jan (advisor) ; Hanel, Lubomír (referee)
The main theme of my bachelor's thesis is about Bird territory Jaroslavické rybníky, and itś use in natural history class. The work is divided to two parts - theoretical and practical. At the beginning of the theoretical part, I am describing Znojmo district where Jaroslavické rybníky are found. In chapter two I am clarifying ecological concepts, which needs to be known for the following chapter about pond ecosystem and its importance in the nature. The fifth part of my work is about history of fish breeding in Morava, because ponds are often associated with it. Sixth chapter is focused on history of Jaroslavické rybníky, and the following chapter describes bird region Jaroslavické rybníky. Second, pracitical part of the thesis includes suggestions for landscaping practise and work lists associated to them. The lists comprise ecology, zoology and botany. These field exercises are designed for Javorické rybníky and their surroundings. Worksheets are intended primaly for students of second stage of elementary schools, or can be eventually used for repetition of basic knowledge of biology for students of high school. This bachelor thesis is meant to be an inspiration and source of information not only for teachers, but for all who are interested in nature and biology.
The Legal Regulation of Fishery
Lubovský, Zbyněk ; Damohorský, Milan (advisor) ; Müllerová, Hana (referee) ; Stejskal, Vojtěch (referee)
IN THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE The subject of my doctoral dissertation is an exploration of fishing rights as a collection of a wide range of legal norms regulating the behavior of the recipients only in the performance of fishing, but also in civil, administrative and criminal relations with the breeding and hunting fish related. Due to the current lack of scientific literature on this topic, the thesis also basic definition and status of the Czech Fishing rights in the legal system of the Czech Republic and important connections not only in relation to the institutions of environmental law, but also of civil and criminal law. Basic Institutes of fishing rights are always described as in historical context, as from the time of its inception developed, as well as in international comparisons of countries that their cultures are very close to us.
Changes of Zahradní Město - Záběhlice in lifestories of its natives
Kolářová, Dana ; Vaněk, Miroslav (advisor) ; Krátká, Lenka (referee)
The topic of this thesis is the way native inhabitants look at the changes of Zahradní Město and the old part of Záběhlice. It also describes its inhabitants' experience of these changes. The thesis employs the methodological approach of oral history, analyzing and interpreting interviews with people who were born or have spent the majority of their active life in that particular area. As a result, what comes to light is how much Zahradní Město and the old part of Záběhlice have changed over the last fifty years and, in a certain way, is changing still. It shows the evolution of a distant suburb as it came to be a part of the wider city centre of Prague, which faces typical urbanisation problems now. According to its inhabitants, Zahradní Město is best considered an independent part of Prague, even though it is officially "just" a part of Záběhlice. The mutual relationship of the inhabitants of Zahradní Město and the old part of Záběhlice is another topic of this thesis, as it tries to describe this relationship and find possible factors that have formed it. The thesis starts with an historical overview, following the way Prague was formed and divided regarding municipal administration. It then moves on to methodology, which describes the process of planning and the realization of the project...
Ověření možnosti dlouhodobě udržitelné akvakultury na Boheľovakých rybnících
ŠINDLER, Martin
The focus of the thesis was verifying the effects of fish breeding in production-oriented fish farming on the ecosystem of fish ponds. The observation was conducted in R1 and R3 Boheľov fish ponds in 2014 and 2016 seasons. The RKK and SGR parameters, the natural fish pond production and the overall production were monitored. The monitored chemical and physical parameters included the developments of the essential parameters at two-week intervals; oxygen, pH, transparency, temperature and insoluble substances. Chlorophyll-a, total phosphorus and total nitrogen were monitored to assess the timely trophy in the ponds. To assess the effects on water organism community zooplankton succession by Cladocera, Copepoda and Rotifera taxonomic orders was monitored at two-week intervals. The monitoring also included periodical checking of the biomass of undesired fish that reached the value of 44,5 kg.ha-1 in the R3 pond. Roach (Rutilus rutilus) was the dominating specie. Control fishing was carried out during the seasons to estimate the actual biomass of carp stock. The total production ranged between 922,1 - 1181,5 kg.ha-1. The RKK level was 2,73 - 3,26. The SGR value of 0,902 %.day-1 was reached in stock C1-2. High carp stock influenced the zooplankton communities. During the observation no occurrence of the intermediate zooplankton was found. The prevailing species of the Cladocera order included Bosmina longirostris, Dafnia galeata and D. parvula. In the Cladocera order there was prevalence of Acanthocyclops trajani and in rotifera order there was prevalence of Brachionus calycifloris, Asplanchna priodonta, Polyartha sp. Spearman's correlation confirmed difference between the total zooplankton in R1 pond compared with R3 pond in both seasons (R3 2014: rho=0,066; pval=0,854; R3 2016 rho=-0,018; pval=0,96). The TSI index showed hypertrophic condition in both ponds. The average values of the index were 78,3 (6,2) in R1 and 75,6 (?3,8) in R3. The lowest average oxygen values, namely 3,2 mg.l-1 (2,0), were in pond R3 in 2016. Taking account of the adverse development of the essential parameters (oxygen and clarity deficits) and the status of the trophy certain limitation of the farming intensity was proposed, namely: reducing the carp stock down to 1/3 including a calculation of the production-related financial loss. Reducing the stock is the only way how to make the fish ponds sustainable. Relevant compensation, in line with the effective European regulations, needs to be addressed hand in hand with the proposed measures.

Tourism in the South Bohemian Area with Huge Amount of Ponds
VACKOVÁ, Tereza
Tourism is the livelihood of many people in the Czech Republic. It affects not only the people but the landscape, too. The South Bohemian area with huge amount of ponds was selected for this work. The first target of this work is to analyze what kinds of tourism are used in the selected area. This area is characterized by a huge amount of ponds and pure countryside which are attractive for tourism specially for fishing, cycling and hiking. Alternative types of tourism are also analysed, such as agrotourism and ekoagrotourism. Tourism affects the economy, culture, social life and the environment in the region. The second target is to evaluate positive and negative impacts of tourism. On the base of the obtained results, measures focusing on the sustainable development of tourism are designed.
The effect of sampling point on hygienically significant water indicators in natural bathing establishment
Zelinková, Myra ; Benešová, Libuše (advisor) ; Popovský, Jiří (referee)
In this diploma thesis, I deal with the influence of the sampling site on water quality in natural bathing lakes (Hostivar reservoir, Seberak pond and Vyzlovka pond) in this. I have established that hygienically significant kinds of phytoplankton may differ in terms of water quality especially where there are cyanobacteria constituting water bloom. Surface water bloom may be moved by wind to the lee side of the water body (Microcystis sp.). Aphanizomenon flos-aquae water bloom floating in water column can be affected by wind and by water flow (which may be partly affected by wind as well). With the prevailing fibrous Planktothrix agardhii which does not connstitute water bloom the concentration of chlorophyll-a and cyanobacterial cell abundance in individual sampling sites are similar although the concentration of chlorophyll-a a is about 200 g.l-1 . Microcystis sp. and Scenedesmus sp. survive under eutrophic conditions in competition. From the microbiological perspective, water quality can differ within a single sampling site in places at a distance of less than 100 m. Microbial contamination can be caused by bathers, water birds, farm animals and probably by the removing of microorganisms from sand, mud and sediments on the beach or shore. Rain episodes probably increase the abundance of E.coli...
