Complaint handling process optimization of the chosen enterprise

This Master's thesis is focused on complaint handling process in the chosen enterprise. The main goal of this thesis is optimization of the chosen customers' complaints using the appropriate Six Sigma methods. In the theoretical part the reverse logistics and its importance are described then Lean enterprise concepts and methods, which are used for the complaint handling process optimization, are explained. The first part of the practical part introduces the enterprise and its logistics and complaint handling process. The rest of the thesis contains the complaint handling process optimization using the DMAIC method.
The Implementation of the Lean Manufacturing

This Bachelor thesis deals with the lean manufacturing approach which translates as "zeštíhlování výrobních procesů" in Czech terminology. The primary objective of this work is to complexly map the issue and describe implementation of these methods on the particular enterprise. Conclusions of this text should assure the reader of the importance for Czech manufacturers as well in this economic field, which is one of the few that can directly analyse waste, enhance the quality of manufacturing processes and increase productivity of the entire firm.
Implementation of Lean Management Techniques in selected Organization

The main objectives of the bachelor thesis are methods of lean management in the Japanese way. The theoretical part is mainly focused on the individual methods such as Kaizen, 5S and Kanban. The aim of this thesis is to realize what Japanese way of thinking actually is and how works in practice. In the practical part I will implement these methods in the most efficient way in the given company. The most important process is reduction of waste. The conclusion provides improvements and recommendations for the company.
Contribution of VS LSS projects for the knowledge development in an organization

The thesis studies the potential contribution of projects of Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma Specialization for the knowledge development in the participating organizations. Students taking class in compulsory subject Quality Management and Lean Six Sigma Practical were participating in those projects. Mentors from participating organizations were interviewed. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with the history and selected tools of Lean Management. The significance of continuous improvement, as an integral part of Lean Management, is discussed. The thesis describes knowledge management and selected models of knowledge creation and transfer. The practical part includes a description of an employed methodology and interviews results. The thesis concludes a proposal of changes that can result in improvement of projects contribution for the knowledge development in the participating organizations.
Application of Lean Six Sigma methodology in a logistic process

The main goal of this thesis is to improve logistic processes at Anheuser-Busch InBev by aplying Lean and Six Sigma methods, in paticular, by using DMAIC methodology. Thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. In the theoretical part methods of Six Sigma and Lean are described and recent tendency to combine these methods together. Each step of DMAIC methodology was described in details in theoretical part. In the practical part there is a project which aims to of improveme international transport flows from England to Italy and from Belgium to England witth the use of DMAIC methodology.
Purchase and implementation of the Q-Andoni at Škoda Auto joint-stock company

This Bachelor thesis follows up the description of a shopping process in chosen company Škoda Auto joint-stock company and following proposal to raise effectivity, reduce costs and workers loads and finding a way to save money.The theoretical part follows up interpretation of various concepts from the area of purchasing and lean management.The practical part of the thesis follows up the introduction of Škoda Auto joint-stock company and it is being focused on purchasing department and its process, methods and the system usage habits.For better imagination will be the process described and illustrated on test case which concerns purchasing and implementation of Q-Andon system. The Q-Andon system belongs to the area of downsizing production.At the end, I added a recommendation to improve present process to increase effectivity and save more money.
Optimalization of material flow in automotive industry

This master thesis is focussed on optimalization of material flow in an automotive company. First part introduce theoretical background. Automotive industry and its actual trends on global markets. Follows short introduction of the company where project of this thesis was executed. Main theoretical part describes concept of lean management, its tools in practical examples, but it is also focussed on philosophical approach to the work and mindset of the company. Follows the aplication part based on theoretical background. The whole project of this master thesis is focussed on specific area called PC store. At first this area is showed in context of overall material flow. Shortly there are introduced processes and areas where full material packaging flows. Follows deeper analysis and optimalization of PC store itself. There are three approaches of stock and lead time reduction applied. Last part shows the comparison of initial and future state including performed changes.
Critical Implementation factors of Lean Management

The entire thesis deals with the implementation of selected elements of lean manufacturing in a midsize manufacturing company. The goal is to find the critical factors of implementation, which can make the change better to manage. In the first part the work deals with a literature search not only for the chosen topic, but it also provides basic information about the overall concept of lean manufacturing to better understand the context. The second part describes the practical implementation of selected elements of lean production in a midsize manufacturing company which captures both the view of the bottom, i.e. from the senior management and workers in production, and the view of the top from the guarantor of the change, i.e. a person who is in charge of the implementation and has been given directly by the company management. In the practical part a form of semi-structured interview is chosen to obtain a bottom view and then a top view analyses the obtained information from interviews and adds its point of view. At the end of the work the critical factors of the implementation based on the practical part are identified and supported by the theoretical part.

Bachelor's thesis deals with analysis and submission for improvement of preparation process of components into production. In the chapter analysis of actual condition, I focus on detailed description of workflow and subsequently on identification of occurring types of waste and deficiencies. The submission part is about elimination of waste and deficiencies, which leads to labor productivity growth and improvement in working conditions for workers.
