Editorial methods in dealing with multicultural topics

This bachelor thesis deals with journalist's processing of multicultural themes in printed media. The aim of the thesis is to find out, how journalists from different kinds of media act, when they create a media product relating to a multicultural topic. The theoretical part in the first phase describes multiculturalism and his development, terminology, which is frequently used in this area, and a situation in the Czech Republic. The second part deals with occurrence and treatment of multicultural topics in the media and also with editorial procedures of journalists, both in general and in conjunction with multicultural topic. The practical part focuses on in-depth interviews with journalists, who usually cover this area. The talks are afterwards analysed by a method of open coding, which creates a part of grounded theory.
Measuring of school discipline from the perpective of primary school's pupils and teachers by using anchoring vignettes method

This thesis is focused on research of school undiscipline (misbehaviour) by using the anchoring vignettes method. The results obtained of qualitative research (focus groups and in-depth interviews) were used for the compilation of the vignettes and questionnaire. In its theoretical part, the thesis introduces with multi-dimensional concept of school discipline and with works of the other authors. Further the thesis presents an overview of research methods for measuring of school discipline. The practicle parts presents the results of the author's own survey. These results have led for construction of the questionnaire with anchoring vignettes. These ones were compiled by using results of focus groups with 13 - 15 years old pupils and in-depth interviews with their teachers. The final questionnaire will be standardized within author's doctoral studies a thesis. Even so, it appeals that the anchoring vignette method takes its place in educationas scienses. This thesis deals with costumer behaviour on the market with eco and local food with emphasis on their original labelling. Practical part was implemented by qualitative research methods, eye-tracking and in-depth interviews. Description of costumer behaviour on the market with eco and local food regarding original labelling come from the results of thesis. Results also include the recommendations for practical application in the field of leblling of unconventional food.
Increasing of Effectiveness of Managerial Work in Judiciary

This diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the actual state of manpower and managerial activity at the Supreme Administrative Court (SAC) as the highest judicial authority. Based on the findings from the questionnaire survey and in-depth interviews with the managers of the SAC changes in the management of the SAC are proposed that shall lead to the intended aim, i. e. increase efficiency of managerial work.
Brand as a part of the Marketing Strategy on the Smart Phones market

The main objective of this Thesis is to explain the importance of a Brand as a part of the Marketing Strategy on a growing Smart Phones market. Theoretical part analyzes four basic Marketing Strategies and their effect on a Brand Perception. The rest of the theoretical part is focused on Customer-based Brand Equity concept and brand building itself. Analytic part introduces current Smart Phone Market and analyzes marketing strategies of leading manufacturers on the Czech market. Based on the Survey and Depth Interviews, the author reveals the importance of Smart Phone Brand for Millennials, who are defined as young consumers born from 1984 to 1996. Based on the research, author recommends the marketing strategy which should help manufactures to build a strong Brand and gain Millennials loyalty.

The aim is to create a set of recommendations for an effective order management in small advertising agencies. These recommendations are outputs of the qualitative and quantitative research. Their applicability and effectiveness is proven in case study, the suitability of proposals was discussed with experts. This thesis also suggests documents that can be used by small advertising agencies in managing their procurement practice.
