Bachalor thesis titled Approaching of Christian symbols of Christmas to children in after-school club deals with putting into the general issue of symbols and rituals. Further it focuses on the main symbols, rituals and festivals during Advent and Christmas. In the practical part it describes a method of silence, which helps better understanding of their meaning. It also deals with application of this method of silence and explanation of the deeper meaning of the major symbols of Christmas to children in after-school club.

Support for Organization of Festival Contests

This bachelor thesis is focused on making supporting information system for organization of contests on Animefest festival. It is a web application based on framework Django written in Python language. The system will replace the current web solution and will have new functionalities. For system administrator it provides the creationg and managing new contests and also for managing entries. Contestants will have the possibility to register to the contest and manage their entries.

Support for Planning and Organizing of a Festival

The goal of this thesis is to design and implement an interface of a module for Drupal (content management system). The design is mostly created according to introduced principles of the community, thus there is a need to use some data from other parts of the system. The module is going to help to organizators of the festival with the shifts creation and management. The user interface is created with emphasis on fine usability on mobile devices.

Economic aspects of the festival of contemporary dance Siraex and evaluation of its activities

This thesis deals with the economic aspects of organizing a dance festival. The theoretical part explains the basic concepts and the possibilities of financing non-profit dance festivals. The practical part deals with a case study of the festival of contemporary dance Siraex, which, based on the accounting data, follows the development of the way of financing, the structure of sources and costs of the festival. At the end of the practical part is quantitative research conducted among the participants of the festival, whose key questions are related to motivation for participation in the festival and financing.

Bavarian Identity at the example of the Octoberfest in Munich: To what extent is the modern festival still traditional bavarian?

The Munich Oktoberfest was established in 1810 as an instrument for strengthening the Bavarian identity in the new developed monarchy. In the 1950s it has evolved into an international event which is being visited by millions of people from all around the world. This development lead to negative opinions about the present purpose of the Oktoberfest. The aim of the thesis is to confirm or refute these critics which deny any connection between the past and the present form of the Munich festival. The introduction deals with the theoretical background and terms such as remembrance or festivals and celebration. A substantial part of the work consists in the discourse analysis of the Bavarian identity with its main symbols which are closely linked to the celebration of the Oktoberfest in Munich. The main part is devoted to the Oktoberfest itself, its origins and development with the most important moments and main features. The research is completed by a quantitative analysis of facts and numbers which are essential for this subject.

The Analysis of the Communication Activities of The 3. Light Festival SIGNAL in 2015

The bachelor thesis "The Analysis of Communication Activities of the 3rd Light Festival SIGNAL in 2015" is aiming to present the options of organisations holding cultural events from the point of their communication activities on the example of the particular festival of lights. Firstly, the thesis situates the art festivals into a particular theoretical basis and evaluates their role in the culture and the society. Secondly it evaluates cultural organisations and art festivals from the art marketing perspective. Theoretical part also consists of application of the marketing communication in festival of lights environment. Practical part of the thesis uses this theoretical basis in order to compare it with the use of the marketing communication on the example of Light Festival SIGNAL. The objectives, the methodology and the research questions are determined. Then there is described the history and the character of the 3rd year of this event. Next chapter is dedicated to the marketing strategy of this year of the event, namely it describes its objectives, its target group and the possible competition and also the SWOT analysis is created. Music at the Chatéau Sychrov

The aim of the thesis is to introduce the musical life at the Chatéau Sychrov and chart the music events since the history after the music events taking place in the present. Althought the musical life at the Cahtéau Sychrov is abundant. That is in the way of the history as well the way of the present, there is no study, or thesis, which would be dedicated to this issue. The intention of the thesis is to fill this vacancy and introduce the musical life at the Chatéau Sychrov in the context. Thesis is stated by the characteristic of the Chatéau Sychrov and it's general history. There is introduced musical instruments found at the Chatéau, I deal with Antonín Dvořák's journeys, who visited the Chatéau regulerly, peaces he composed there and his legacy, for ex. Choir Antonín Dvořák and Antonín Dvořák's festival. Then is introduced the musical life at the Chatéau in the present. Bachelor thesis "The Analysis of Communication Activities of the 65th Berlinale in 2015" deals with the communication activitie's choices in cultural sphere concretely on the example of the film festival Berlinale. Thanks to the analysis of communication activities of Berlinale 2015 a reader is shown the substance of communication and marketing mix and why these activities are so important for the communication with the general public. Theoretical part of the thesis describes Berlinale's history and characteristics, which is the key core for both the present and the future communication. It describes the influence of the festival on cultural sphere trends. Moreover, it focuses on the meaning of art marketing and film marketing for film festivals and on which principles these branches stand and how or why are these substential for film festivals. Next part of my bachelor thesis is dedicated to marketing mix and the sole comunnication activities of the 65th Berlinale not only in theory, but also practically. Bachelor thesis contains the SWOT analysis of the film festival and it also marginally focuses on the impact that Berlinale has on Berlin's tourism, which is nonetheless sometimes disregarded and overlooked despite it's relevance.
