Civil building
Krestýn, Miroslav ; Spáčilová, Jitka (referee) ; Spáčil, Miroslav (advisor)
The diploma thesis titled "Civil building" consists of three main parts. The theoretical, project and calculation sections are created. The common theme of these parts is the assessment of the energy performance of the proposed building. The object is designed as a two-storey office building that meets the current requirements for new construction under the energy certificate. The goal of the work is the design of the optimisation of the building in the form of individual options for energy certificates and their mutual comparison.
Real consumption of primary energy of plug-in hybrid and electric cars
Bochníček, Ondřej ; Pokorný, Jan (referee) ; Fišer, Jan (advisor)
The topic of bachelor thesis is to evaluate a consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids depending on the place of the operation and also to compare a particular representative with similar classic cars with combustion engine. Another criterion used for evaluation is the emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer. For the consumption of primary energy in electric cars and plug-in hybrids is essential to know how is the electricity produced in the chosen area. With the energy mix of each state, characteristics of given ways of producing electricity and consumptions of selected cars the consumption of primary energy of selected cars and emission of carbon dioxide for one driven kilometer were determined. From the computed data results, that the lowest energy consumption have the electric cars driven in countries with dominant representation of renewable energy sources. Conversely the worst conditions are in the countries with high part of fossil fuels in electricity production. From the comparison of single electric cars and plug-in hybrids with classic cars results that electric cars or plug-in hybrids are at the time of writing this thesis practically in all cases more energy efficient and also produce less emission of carbon dioxide.
Advanced methods of application of thermal techniques in the design of heating buildings
Mikoláš, Petr ; Vyhlídalová, Karolína (referee) ; Horák, Petr (advisor)
The diploma thesis is divided into three parts. The first part is theoretical devoted to the introduction of BETONG building material. And next It is also devoted to themes of low - energy buildings and nearly zero-energy buildings, heat sharing and thermal comfort. In the second part is the concept of the heating system elaborated in three variants of the design in the scope of the study for the new family house. The third part is devoted to use of shell blocks of the BETONG with internal contact insulation compared to other masonry systems.
Analysis of the effectiveness of ventilation systems of houses
Šošolíková, Jana ; Krauter, Pavel (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
This Master´s thesis deals with the analysis of the effectiveness of ventilation systems. The key concept of the thesis is HVAC system in buildings with low energy demand. In the most comprehensive chapter are some concepts clarified: air tightness, ventilation, air conditioning, heating and hot water preparation. The aim of the thesis is to define passive house in terms of acquisition and operating costs, including the ventilation system and to make comparison with systems applied in conventional construction with focusing on assessment of effectiveness of ventilation equipment.
Energy performance of air handling units for swimming pool halls
Batelka, Václav ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The thesis is focused on determining the energy flows and the creation of an internal microclimate swimming pool halls. It describes the problems of design, the potential risks associated with the use of pools and thermodynamic processes heat and mass transfer. For this purpose was developed simulation program, which examines the behavior of heat and humidity in the room depending on external factors. The room can be simulated for any time period and geographic location. The outputs of the simulation are heat and mass balance, which will be covered air condition units. Three variants were designed and optimized solutions comparing claims on their operations. The experimental part is focused on the evaporation of the water. Measurement examines dependence of the speed of evaporation of water at different boundary conditions. Was investigated temperature dependence of water, temperature and relative humidity and air velocity above the water surface.
Analysis of Possibilities and Implementation of Grant Programms to Achieve Higher Energy Standard in Construction
Šíma, Zbyněk ; Hromádka, Vít (referee) ; Chovancová, Jitka (advisor)
The work addresses the issue of low-energy construction in the Czech Republic and mapping programs that are offered by the state and the European Union, designed to improve the technical and economic performance of buildings. This work also addresses the impact that these subsidy programs can have on the economic situation and the environment. The output will be treated overview of these capabilities in a simple table.
Anlysis of the Effect of Insulation on the Price of Flats in Žďár nad Sázavou
Dvořák, Jan ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (referee) ; Kubičková, Veronika (advisor)
This thesis analyzes the impact of insulation on the price of flats in Zdar. In the theoretical part of the thesis deals with the theme of energy demand and pricing. The second part sets the prices of selected flats in different valuation methods, namely: direct comparison method, comparative method and cost method. Furthermore, the work deals with energy conservation, depending on the thermal insulation. The aim is to determine whether and by how much prices will rise flats due to the additional insulation, what are the savings in heat and what about payback to investment.
Analysis of the influence of insulation on the price of housing units in Opava
Adamus, Aleš ; Pertl, Marek (referee) ; Hlavinková, Vítězslava (advisor)
This dissertation analyzes the effect of insulation on the price of housing units in Opava city. In the theoretical part of the dissertation deals with the subject of appraisement, the energy intensity of buildings and technical-economic evaluation. In the practical part sets the prices of selected housing units by direct comparison, the comparative method by regulation and yield value. It assesses whether the possible range in the valuation regulations (5%) reflects the fact that the recognized building insulated in accordance to the current legislation. It detects the energy nature of a apartment building in which they are placed selected apartments. The goal is to determine a price increase of housing units due to insulation and evaluates the appropriateness and inappropriateness of buying from the investor's perspective.
Heat sources for nearly zero-energy buildings
Zábovský, Ján ; Fojtlín, Miloš (referee) ; Hejčík, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with the topic of heat sources for nearly zero energy buildings. It is divided into three parts. The first part of the thesis describes the term „nearly zero energy buldings“ and its differences across European union and especially Czech and Slovak republic. The next part summarizes various types of systems and devices, which are directly or indirectly involved in maintaining interior thermal comfort. It also assesses their applicability to buildings with nearly zero energy consumption. The final part of the thesis consists of the design of several input parameters for the selected model house. A suitable heat source is suggested for each of the variants.
Cost optimization of the operational phase of buildings
Kleinerová, Jana ; Dostál, Jan (referee) ; Výskala, Miloslav (advisor)
The thesis discusses the operating costs and the possibilities for their optimization. Specifically, it focuses on one of the greatest possible operating costs and it's heating costs. In the first part of the thesis are defined in general expenses, the price and the production, operating costs, optimization of these costs, life cycle of buildings and technological methods to improve the thermal and technical properties of the object. Finally, the theoretical part describes the terms for calculating the energy performance of the building and the payback period, which evaluates the effectiveness of investments. The practical part is assessed according to specific building energy performance, and especially in terms of its demand for heating. The building is designed for six variants of insulation, which is again judged on their energy performance. Subsequently these measures for better thermal insulating properties of the object assessed according to their cost efficiency and return on investment of individual variants.
