Portal for the support of cryptography instruction
Forman, Tomáš ; Doležel, Radek (referee) ; Zeman, Václav (advisor)
The main goal of this master's thesis is building of web portal for presentation basic cryptography algorithms. Those algorithms would be explained in the theoretical page in the first place. After that, they would be demonstrated by scripts. One part of this project is designing simplified theoretical element for basic impletion portal of information. Next part is creating web portal by one of the free available CMS´s systems. Programming language JAVA would be used as an instrument for creating demonstration scripts. For creating animations will be used the Flash animation tool. Target of formed web portal is creating community of expert public. It would make new articles, scripts and knowledge. This way, the portal would be kept current. The section which would include failure the most widely used algorithms and instructions how to eliminate it will be part of portal.
High-Speed Virtual Private Networks
Porubova, Anna ; Martinásek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
Purpose of this thesis is to become familiar with the issue of virtual private networks (VPN). Describe VPN types and their benefits. Analyze and evaluate various VPN solutions. There will be suggested test scenarios and their configuration solutions.
Efficient security of modern low-power wireless communication technologies
Blažek, Vojtěch ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
This thesis deals with communication security in Sigfox networks. That includes studying the network’s parameters and capabilities and then analysing the appropriate cryptosystems. The thesis contains a description of cryptography as such and a description of cryptosystems that could be implemented in end devices. From the selected cryptosystems, three of the most appropriate are selected based on the required properties, which are put into practice on the Arduino-based development kit and then experimental measurements are made to determine the basic features of the device.
Online database for secure data collection
Kopec, Peter ; Mezina, Anzhelika (referee) ; Mikulec, Marek (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the design and implementation of a secure online database for data collection, which is accessible from the Internet. A database that is accessible from the Internet and contains personal data or other valuable data must be well secured, because we do not want this data to be misused by an unauthorized person. To begin with, we select the appropriate applications for our system and analyze their functionality. The applications are selected based on the features they provide, the overall complexity and support of their online community. Part of the work is devoted to the analysis of data leaks from medical facilities in 2019 and 2020 and a few other leaks from other industries. Thanks to this analysis, we know the reasons for the data leakage and we are able to focus more on these weaknesses and point out the problems. The next part of the work is devoted to the design and implementation of a practical solution using applications that we selected at the beginning. In our case it is a MYSQL database, FLASK backend with Gunicorn WSGI and NGINX web server. Finally, we analyze the security of this solution using the most common vulnerabilities according to OWASP and the NMAP network scanner.
Use of electronic signature in business communication
Bauer, Oldřich ; Konečný,, Vladimír (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
Bachelors work is concerned with the electronic signature and it´s use at the most modern level and it is specialized on data security in the world of the eletronic documents. It describes the electronic signature and the electronic registry in technical and legislative way with the use in practice and concrete firm. It also includes information about digital libraries, protection of author rights and personal data, electronic registry and business communication. This work gives comprehensive formulation about the problems of actual state of the legislative and the use in practice.
Intercept of the Modern Cryptographic Protocols
Halinár, Petr ; Košař, Vlastimil (referee) ; Kaštil, Jan (advisor)
This paper discusses the security-set used in communication networks. It contains a brief overview of the protocols and architecture description of public keys. Deals in detail with a description of certificates, their backgrounds and SSL protocols. It also represents a number of security shortcomings of these protocols and application design for the interception of HTTPS. Also the results of experiments with this application are stated.
Security of Electronic Banking
Rennét, Jiří ; Müller, Richard (referee) ; Dvořák, Jiří (advisor)
Master’s thesis analyzes in detail the security of electronic banking within the chosen banks in Czech republic. On the base of these knowledge it defines and recommendes the most secure electronic banking for Profes Project s.r.o. company. In the folowing it investigates a current electronic banking in the company and it carries out basic theoretical findings.
Client-server password manager
Myška, Vojtěch ; Burda, Karel (referee) ; Ležák, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with implementation password manager with client-server architecture. Basis of thesis is proposal of graphical user interface, used keys, remote methods, server and its database, choise of used technology and programming language. The next part delas with implementation proposal of password manager.
Patient data management in hospital information system Clinicom
Jirásková, Kristýna ; Fedra, Petr (referee) ; Škutková, Helena (advisor)
Hospital information systems to store patient data and to share them. Have several advantages. Doctors are immediately accessible to history, which helps to quickly diagnose, prevent unnecessary wastage of drugs and duplicate tests. The goal of this work was to develop remote access to hospital information system CLINICOM via the Internet. The data in the information system managed by the database system Caché. From this database information was obtained using SQL queries. For the presentation of data on the Internet was designed and implemented user interface in the PHP programming language, which enables remote database management system CLINICOM.
Analysis of security and authentication of wireless networks
Kulíř, Tomáš ; Jeřábek, Jan (referee) ; Szőcs, Juraj (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with wireless networks, mainly about the WiFi. It deals with summary of individual security mechanism both theoretically and using them in real hardware. Mainly it is interested in the security of the individual mechanisms and their weaknesses, which cause rupture of security. At each chapter the ideas and methods, that the attackers are trying for infiltration of wireless networks and decrypt encryption WEP, WPA or WPA2, are outlined. The principle of the authentication of the WiFi by the authentication server and its options, which is connected with directory service LDAP, is also explained in this thesis. The penultimate chapter deals with the summary of security mechanisms and references that should be adhered by design of the WiFi for the provision of the high security. The ending of the master's thesis is devoted to social engineering and its most famous representatives.
