Information of pupils of the 2nd grade of selected elementary school about bullying and cyberbullying

The work deals with bullying and cyberbullying. It shows its forms and types, who can be affected by bullying and direct actors. It also describes prevention and organizations that deal with it and can help children with a problem. Legislative measures in the event of a serious problem are also outlined here. In the practical part, the pupils of the 2nd grade of primary school are interviewed, who answered what is their experience with bullying and cyberbullying, how they solved everything and to whom they turned in case of a problem. The practical part is supplemented by an interview with the prevention methodologist at the school where the pupils were given a questionnaire. The evaluation of the questionnaire showed that the pupils encountered both bullying and cyberbullying. 28% of respondents turned out to be victims of bullying, 5% to cyberbullying. It was also found that in the event of a problem, they would most often confide in their parents, 46% of respondents said because they trust them. KEYWORDS aggressor, cyberbullying, victim, bullying
Bullying among pupils at secondary school

The bachelor thesis called "Bullying among pupils at secondary school" is devided into two parts, namely the theoretical and the practical. The theoretical part conteins five main chapters, in which we find for example definition of bullying, its types and forms, its causes or development of bullying stages. Then this part deals with bullying actors, who include the aggressor, victim, witness and pedagogue. Next I mention bullying from the legal point of view. In last but not least I devote by diagnostics, investigation and consequences of bullying. Tha last chapter is focused on prevention. In the practical part I find out an experience of pupils with bullying throughout the questionnaire at selected secondary schools.
Cyberbullying from the perspective of high school students

This thesis deals with the issue of cyberbullying from the perspective of high school students. The aim of the questionnaire survey is to explore the students' awareness about cyberbullying, their relationship with teachers and with their own families. Other questions focus on whether the students know about different options and means of cyberbullying prevention and where to seek help. The thesis further examines the correlation between the students' school results, and their experience with cyberbullying and with how to prevent it and protect themselves against it.
Agression and bullying among pupils in chosen elementary school

The thesis consists two parts. The first part is an introduction into aggression, risky behavior and bullying phenomenon. This part is also dealing with the problematic of deviations. The aim of the practical was to detect and defined bullying in 7th grades in chosen elementary school. In this part I prepared a questionnaire for the target group and based my analysis on it. Then results were compared between the classes and the next step was an interview with school employee, which is responsible for preventing methods. This interview helped me to understand which cases of bullying occurred, how the school managed it and the future preventing measure. The main question, I tried to answer in my work, was "Is there bullying among pupils in 7th grades?" The result of my research was optimistic. Just 1/3 of the respondents had been bullied or knows someone who was. The rest 2/3 of the pupils did not encounter with bullying. The second part of my research focuses on bullying kinds and there effect. Most of the responders consider that emotional bullying is worse than physical. Violent criminality focused on bullying

The theme of this bachelor thesis is Violent Criminality with a Focus on Bullying. It is focused on characterizing legal, social and criminogenic aspects of bullying, to analyzing the frequency of occurrence of aggressive behavior of pupils and students of selected schools in them municipality with extended powers Soběslav. The theoretical part defines basic terms such as aggression, bullying, aggressor, perpetrator and victim, brings knowledge about the history and legal regulation of bullying. It also describes factors that influence the emergence of aggressive behaviour. Within phenomenology the thesis deals with the current state, structure and dynamics of criminal acts related to bullying based on data obtained from the statistics of the Police of the Czech Republic. The application part is based on primary data obtained from an anonymous questionnaire survey conducted at selected primary and secondary schools in the municipality Soběslav. In this section, three hypotheses have been set about the frequency of aggression within different age categories, form of aggressive behaviour and bullying latency. It has been found that aggression between pupils and students increases at a certain age. The prevailing form of aggression is verbal as expected. However, the latency of aggressive behaviour is lower than expected. The results of the survey were compared with the results of police analyzes, which indirectly confirm the findings. The benefit of the bachelor thesis is the evaluation of the given issue in the given territory. Furthermore, it can serve as an auxiliary study material in the study of social and legal areas. The thesis can also serve as information source for the staff of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic and other subjects dealing with the pathological behaviour of young people.
Pupil transfer as a solution to bullying problem

This diploma thesis is about the pupils who have been victims of bullying during their studies at the primary or the secondary schools and who have been forced to transfer to another school because of this problem. The aim of this diploma thesis is to make a preview into the problematic of bullying related to the transfer of the pupil to another school, further off submit the overview of the factors, which can influence the success of this particular solution of the bullying issue. The first part of diploma thesis focus on explanation of the ground concepts related with bullying, as the personality of aggressor and victim, directions and forms of the bullying on the school, development of bullying and participators of it. The second part is about the consequence and the prevence of bullying. In the third part are mentioned previous researches related to repetition of bullying at the same actors and further off there is submitted comparison of individual case reports. The method of research was case study, in which was analyze and compare statements of respondents, who happend to be bullying during their schooling and transfer on the another school. Social work methods and techniques used for working with bullying aggressor

Bachelor thesis on the issue Methods and techniques of social work used for working with bully deals with aggression of clients towards workers of social facilities. Aim of this bachelor thesis is to find out, what methods and techniques of social work are used by workers of social facilities when working with aggressive clients. Another aim of this thesis is to determine, what interventions these facilities use when working with an aggressive client and if these interventions are efficient. I focused on methods and techniques of social work used by social facilities, where they work with children from the age of 7 to 18. I focused on these methods and techniques mainly in practical part of this thesis. In theoretical part I focused on the relevance of bullying, which reference books are concerned with bullying, forms of bullying, personality of an aggressor and a victim, and primarily I focused on methods and techniques of social work, which are used when dealing with bullying. Furthermore, in practical part I looked into what kinds of methods and techniques of social work are used by employees of DDŠ Šindlovy Dvory and of SVP Dukelská when working with a bully and if their methods and techniques are efficient. Research was composed from qualitative survey, using the method of questioning, more specifically using semi-standardized interview with respondent. Respondents were chosen on the grounds of accessibility. Resolution of this thesis provides view of used methods and techniques of social work in practice. Onwards if these methods and techniques are efficient or not and furthermore I point out some potential deficiency of its placing in legislation. Moreover, small collaboration of families, which are not involved in the process of child's transformation, influences whole process of working with a client.
Bullying in the lower grades of Elementary school

The thesis deals with the issue of bullying at the primary level of the elementary schools from the point of view of the experienced teachers that have encountered this kind of situations in their practice. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The theoretical part brings latest news from the foreign and local bibliography. It describes causes, forms, participants of bullying, and there is a comparison of different kinds of solutions. Last but not least it proposes a wide range of preventive methods. The practical part is based on case studies of the interventions of bullying in the primary school which are realized through semi-structured interviews with five teachers from different countries with different backgrounds who dealt with bullying in their practise. The results present different techniques which involved people in the intervention use to efectively solve the cases and on the other hand what slows the proces of healing down and how to overcome these obstacles. Which steps were done in the classroom and which methods of prevention teachers use. This paper includes a discussion about the difference of dealing with bullying in Czech and foreign schools.
