Application for Implementation of Digital Images Morphological Transformations
Kečkéš, Miroslav ; Beneš, Radek (referee) ; Říha, Kamil (advisor)
This thesis deals with the implementation of basic morphological operations on binary and gray-tone digital images. Partly devoted to filling in areas and thresholding, as the basic method of segmentation. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part deals with the theoretical analysis of the various morphological operations and is divided into four chapters. The first chapter deals with basic concepts used in morphology and basic operations on binary and gray-tone images. The second chapter deals with the segmentation threshold, which is relevant for pre-treatment image. The third chapter describe the basic methods for filling areas. The last chapter deals with various functions necessary to implement the various operations in the sample application. The second part contains the actual implementation of applications.
Code Detection from Control Image
Růžička, Miloslav ; Zuzaňák, Jiří (referee) ; Beran, Vítězslav (advisor)
Work deals with code detection from control image. The document presents relevant image processing techniques dealing with a noise reduction, thresholding, color models, object segmentation and OCR. This project examines advantages and disadvantages of two selected methods for object segmentation and introduces developed system for object segmentation. The developed system for object segmentation and classification is realized, evaluated and results are discussed in details.
Segmentation on tomographic data of multiphase materials
Troják, Jan ; Šalplachta, Jakub (referee) ; Břínek, Adam (advisor)
This work deals with segmentation of multiphase materials from X-ray computed tomography measurement. The segmentation was performed on meteorite images. There are various intermetallic phases in the structure of the meteorite and they are difficult to separate. The main objective is to test different image processing techniques (Otsu's thresholding, cluster analysis, region growing). The techniques were chosen with the focus on their benefits for multiphase material segmentation. Image denoising and sharpening is used before segmentation. Subsequently, selected segmentation methods are applied to real data. The individual results are evaluated. Finally, the comparison of selected methods is presented.
Object detection
Strašek, Petr ; Davídek, Daniel (referee) ; Richter, Miloslav (advisor)
This thesis solves the problem of detecting contrast subjects, assessing their symmetry and limit states. For this purpose, a database of photographs had been created, that were used for testing algorithms. The thesis also describes the specific implementation of these algorithms and their results.
Braille Reader
Zapletal, Pavel ; Svoboda, Pavel (referee) ; Maršík, Lukáš (advisor)
The aim of work is conversion of a photographed Braille into ordinary text. On the beginning, there are described Braille specification and principles. In the next part are mentioned types of sensors for taking photos. The main part describes phases of image processing and their implementation in C++. At the end, there are listed possibilities of future development.
Image segmentation on GPU
Bravenec, Tomáš ; Mego, Roman (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor thesis is focused on using graphical processing units for parallel data processing, specifically on image processing. Main focus of this thesis is determining time difference in image processing using graphical processing unit and classic approach on processor. Another focus is accessing webcam and processing of captured frames.
Searching for Objects in Pictures
Motlík, Matúš ; Žák, Marek (referee) ; Zbořil, František (advisor)
This bachelor's thesis deals with solving the problem of searching simple objects in pictures. The aim was to create a program that will be able to search simple objects in grayscale images. In this theses are described progressively steps of image processing. There are described preprocessing of image, segmentation, description of segmented data, classification and searching for objects in image.

Mobile robot detection using image processing
Novotný, Stanislav ; Březina, Lukáš (referee) ; Krejsa, Jiří (advisor)
This master´s thesis deals with processing of image sequence taken by statically placed camera over plane of robot movement. At first there are methods for image segmentation and localization methods described. In the next part, selected methods are implemented and compared to individual images. In the final part, selected methods are further implemented in algorithm for batch processing of image sequence.
Detection of registration number for surveillance systems
Smékal, David ; Atassi, Hicham (referee) ; Přinosil, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deal with teoretic image processing and computer vision, detection license plate. There are include some methods segmentation image for example filtration noise, detection edge, thresholding. Researched presence of licence plate in the picture.
