The importace of the Hildprandt von Ottenhausen Family for Blatná region

The aim of this thesis is to point out the various contributions (cultural, economic, political, entrepreneurial, etc.) of the aristocratic family Hildprandt von Ottenhausen for Blatná region. At the begining, various views on the determination of the Blatná reigon are compared. The history of the family line is also reviewed. Most attention is given to the activites of the Hildprandt family which were beneficial for the Blatná region. Hildprandts von Ottenhausen contributed to the development of the Blatná castle, they also remade the adjacent forest to a park. Thanks to them, industrial activities (sugar industry, distilling industry or beer industry) flourished in this region and many people became employed in these companies or on the farm owned by the Hildprandts. Many prominent persons visited Blatná, as guests of the noble family, amongst these persons was Franz Ferdinand d'Este, heir to the Austrian monarchy, or an indian maharaja. Hildprandts employed some of the Czech patriots (Jan Evangelista Purkyně a Antonín Jaroslav Vrťátko), those patriots taught next generations of the family love for their country. Selected regional monuments of the area North of Plzeň in primary school

The thesis "Selected regional monuments of the area North of Plzeň in primary school" presents concepts of primary schooling combined with an education in selected regional monuments of Northern Plzeň Region. The theoretical part discusses an approach to the regionalistic topics in the educational area "Humans and their world", cross-sectional topics, and key competences that may be developed using the selected educational topic. The thesis continues with an analysis of suitable educational methods connected with an extracurricular pedagogy. This part subsequently discusses an approach to historical monuments as a cultural and historical heritage constituting a legacy that should not be forgotten. The natural environment and cultural-historical evolution of Northern Plzeň Region is discussed next, with a focus on selected cultural monuments and connected topics. Theoretical conclusions on selected monuments are subsequently used as a basis for the excursion proposals detailed in the practical part. The practical part of the thesis presents tuition concept proposals utilizing these places of interest, homeland excursion plans, and activities connected with education in cultural heritage. Didactic walks to explore the city Benesov and its surroundings

The aim of the diploma thesis Didactic walks to explore the city Benešov and its surroundings is to create a set of materials for teaching the 4th and 5th grade students about the region and its surroundings within the educational area Man and His World. The thesis consists of theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part deals with the inclusion of the topic in the Framework Educational Programme, as well as theoretical bases of thesis - memory, cultural heritage, object learning and didactic walks as a form of teaching used in the practical part. It also deals with the city of Benešov in terms of natural, economic conditions and most of all cultural and historical development. The practical part deals with the design of three local history walks around the town of Benešov and its surroundings on selected topics. The aim of the walks is primarily to connect the curriculum with the history of the city and to guide pupils to build a relationship to their city and its monuments. Parts of the walks are activities before and after and also the go through the selected places with proposed tasks and worksheets. Learning Regional History of Kralupy Area through Project-based learning in Civics and History

This diploma thesis deals with regional history and its incorporation into teaching through project method on second level of basic school. The aim of the thesis is to create a project proposal based on theoretical knowledge. Project method of teaching implemented within the Citizenship education and History for the second grade of basic school. The first part of work is defined the concept regional history and its location in FEP for Elementary Education and the attention is paid to interdisciplinary links between Citizenship education and History subjects. Then are captured regional history knowledge needed to implement the project. This part is divided into several historical stages with an emphasis on the period of World War II due to sufficient information for the preparatory phase of the project. The next chapter informs about Project teaching method, its historical development, individual project phases and the distinction between thematic and project teaching. The positives and negatives of project teaching are also presented. The final part of the diploma thesis presents the concept of didactic project and describes partial didactic procedures aiming to implement proposed project. The city of Kutna Hora in year 1968

This diploma thesis called The city of Kutna Hora in year 1968 describes main events of year 1968 is the city of Kutna Hora in the Central Bohemian Region. At the beginning of this thesis, there is described the whole of Czechoslovakia in year 1968. The aim of this work was to concentrate to events of this year in the city of Kutna Hora and make an overview about this city in year 1968. There is the whole situation in Kutna Hora from the beginning of they till invasion of Armed force in August. Kutna Hora was not very strategic place in Czechoslovakia. For this work, the method of oral history was mainly used, big part of this thesis are stories and memories of local people, who remember the year 1968. Time traveling through the town Aš : A history project

This diploma thesis deals with the history of the town Aš. The first historical part describes the history of the town since the first mentions to the present days. During the historical development of the region as well as the town itself the diploma thesis focuses mainly on the interesting or unusual events or the differences between the development of the Czech territory central region and the region of Aš. In this diploma thesis is also emphasised the historical development of the textile industry that was interwoven with this region. The didactic part depicts the topic connected with the educational area called Man and his world, specifically describes the thematic areas Place where we live and Man and Time. It also describes the connection between the historical education and project-based learning. The project Time traveling through the town Aš focuses on getting to know the region for the fourth graders. The pupils work with historical materials, meet the town's history and compare the historical and present situations. The project helps the pupils understand the particularity of the place they live in and helps them create a favourable relationship with the town.
