Possibilities of the CAM software PowerMILL 2018 for machining of thin-walled workpieces
Luňák, Václav ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This master's thesis is focused on the modeling and tracks of thin-walled components. Used softwares are CATIA V5R20 from Dassault Systemes for Experimental Component Modeling and PowerMILL 2018 from Autodesk for Draw and NC Programming. The production efficiency between the precision casting and the workpiece of the cube blank based on the material utilization factor and machining time is compared in this work.
Robotic grinding welds
Nohavica, Radek ; Kočiš, Petr (referee) ; Vetiška, Jan (advisor)
The bachelor thesis is dealing on the grinding as a finishing method of the machining. The aim of the thesis is to describe current solution for robotic grinding. It focuses on the robotics as a whole while it presents a brief overwiev of its bases. In the thesis is first intriduced the method of the robotic grinding and the following part of the thesis is dealing with the offline applications to program the robots which are suitable for the machining.
Analysis of NC programming options for enclosed pockets
Janda, Jiří ; Osička, Karel (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
The aim of this paper is to provide an overview of the available strategies for milling of closed pockets. In particular, it focuses on advanced programming using CAM programs. In the next parts, the work is focused on the analysis of the force load of tools in the machining of the pockets. Here it focuses on the course of forces in milling at the corner of the pocket using different methods of analyzing this load. There are also ways to reduce this burden.
Production Concept of Vacuum Mold for Plastic Forming
Tišnovský, Jakub ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
Vacuum plastic forming is method of termoplastic material treatment. This method uses physical and mechanical changes caused in materiál during his heating. Production of final product requires mould. The main advantage of this technology is fact, that manufacturing of mould is not so hard as manufacturing of mould for injection moulding, so mould is signficantly cheaper. Main purpose of this thesis is to propose production concept of this mould. Proposal was solved by SolidWorks and PowerMill software and manufacturing was realized on 3-axis CNC milling machine. Main result of this thesis is a summary of instructions which can be used in proposes of different moulds for vacuum plastic forming.
Designing and Producing a Differential Holder and Eccentric for a Formula Student Racing Car Using Workshop Oriented Programming and Modern CAD/CAM Technologies
Vejtasa, Vladimír ; Jaroš, Aleš (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
The present master thesis deals with the application of workshop programming and advanced CAD / CAM technology to the design and production of differential holder and eccentric of Formula Student car. The first part characterizes and describes the technology of milling, drilling and boring. There is also a selection of material to be machined, including the characteristics of aluminium and its alloys. The following section describes the construction of differential holder and eccentric in the parametric program Autodesk Inventor and creation of CNC programs using the workshop programming and CAM of PowerMILL system. The conclusion section refers to the production of both components in the training centre BOSCH DIESEL s.r.o in Jihlava. The thesis is concluded with a technical-economic evaluation and analysis of both proposed production variants.
Application of CAM software PowerMILL for programming of blisk
Přibilík, Tomáš ; Sliwková, Petra (referee) ; Polzer, Aleš (advisor)
This master’s thesis is focused on modeling and creation of NC programs for machining of the impellers. Software used for modeling is CATIA V5R20 from Dassault Systémes company. For creation of NC programs software PowerMILL from Delcam company is used. Verification of functionality of created NC programs is done in Sinumerik 840d control system.
Design and machining of the flange hub rear wheel of the formula by using CAD/CAM technology and CNC workshop programming
Lučaník, Aleš ; Slaný, Martin (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design and machining of the flange hub rear wheel of the formula by using CAD/CAM technology and CNC workshop programming. The introductory part provides theoretical description and characteristic of turning and milling technology. Further work describes aluminium alloys with focus on material which was used as a blank for machined workpiece. The practical part deals with design of flange in CAD software Autodesk Inventor, design of turning strategies in system ShopTurn and design of milling strategies in software PowerMILL. The final part of this thesis specifies realization of manufacturing on CNC lathe and CNC machining center in company BOSCH DIESEL s.r.o. in Jihlava. Last chapter is focused on techno-economic aspects of manufacturing.
Application of CAD/CAM technology for production of company logo
Kadlecová, Hana ; Kalivoda, Milan (referee) ; Sedlák, Josef (advisor)
This thesis will address the design and production of the ATC Kolín comapny's logo. Thesis will be supported by the use of CAD/CAM programs. The choice of materials, components and tools will also be specified. Milling strategy will be designed with the PowerMill program. Two different methods of production will be compared. First one is the conventional machining on the FV 25 CNC vertical knee milling plant with the Heidenhain iTNC 530 controlling system. Where as the second one is the additive rapid prototypong technology with the usage of Fused Deposition Modeling method. The thesis is finished by the technical-economic evaluation with analysis and comparison of production alternatives.
