Novotný, Petr ; Štrba, Michal (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The aim of this master´s thesis was design and analysis of a steel supporting structure of a building for business and administration purposes in Ostrava. It includes an assessment of the main load-bearing construction elements and the selected connections. The thesis also contains the design documentation of the building and compares two different variants of the steel construction design.
Steel structure of exhibition pavilion
Kárník, Miroslav ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Horáček, Martin (advisor)
The goal of the bachelor’s thesis is to design and assess a steel structure of the exhibition pavilion in Česká Třebová. The ground plan dimensions of the load–bearing structure are 30 meters in width and 63 meters in lenght. The maximal height of the structure is 12 meters. Main frames are made of truss girders of atypical shape. The girders are pin–supported on solid columns on one side and on foundation pads on the other side. The distance between the main frames is 6 meters, the distance between the solid purlins on the girder is 3 meters.
Steel structure of a sport hall
Vraňanová, Veronika ; Pešek, Ondřej (referee) ; Balázs, Ivan (advisor)
The aim of this work is to design and check the steel construction of the sports hall. The maximum dimensions of a floor plan are 72,0 m x 37,58 m. Construction is embedded in terrain, with the total height 13,47 m and 9,97 m above the terrain. The lattice arched crossed link is the main supporting part that is anchored to a concrete panel on each side, using a pair of pins. The roof cladding is made of sandwich panels and is supported by truss purlins. Space stability is ensured by cross bracing and longitudinal bracing.
Static design of roof structure
Duda, Tomáš ; Bažant, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zich, Miloš (advisor)
The subject of the diploma thesis is the design and static analysis of roof structure. It is prestressed roof shell (membrane) supported by a cable. The whole thesis is divided into several separated units according to task's specification. The text section describes the introduction to the issue of presstressed suspension cable constructions and displays their possible shapes, types and realizations. There is also technical report of solved shell, which was written on the base of the documents, drawn drawings and structural (static) analysis.
Assessment of the technical condition of the sewer system in the village
Krulová, Martina ; Úterský, Michal (referee) ; Hluštík, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with the assessment of the technical condition of the sewer network in Sudice and the subsequent recommendation of the remediation of sewerage pipes and manhole. In this work there is a legislation that deals with the issue and general information about the village. There is a description of the execution passportization of the sewer network, the passportization target and the current status of the sewer network. In the thesis is devoted a part of hydraulic assessment of sewerage network, where are calculations of sewage flows and rainwater flows in the network and consequent comparison of suggestion flow with the capacity flow. Based on the results of the performed passportization and acquired camera records, the technical condition of the sewer pipes and manholes was evaluated. The work deals with the recommendation of rehabilitation of sewerage pipes and manholes, where the most serious types of failures on the assessed sewer network are found. There are advantages and disadvantages of recommended remediation methods. The thesis includes three drawings (total situation, detailed situation and hydrotechnical situation) and a sample revision sheet.
Steel structures of boiler and engine rooms
Krompolc, František ; Melcher, Jindřich (referee) ; Karmazínová, Marcela (advisor)
A steel construction, divided into two parts, was designed for the building object of a production block of a bio power plant. The two parts separate the boiler room and the engine room. Due to the specific load caused by the operation equipment, also several plateaus, consoles, footbridges and technological constructions were designed. A system of principal pillars HEB, transversely frame-connected with plane solid girders IPE, forms the hall construction. Pillars in rows 1 and 4 are rigidly jointed to foundations. A bearing structure of the roof deck is imposed on the girders. It is composed of a system of purlins – rolled profiles type UPE. The rigidity of the roof is secured by horizontal bracing between the purlins. The construction of the boiler room is attached to the construction of the engine room, which is formed of frame-connected principal pillars HEB in rows 4,7 and 8. The roof truss IPE is designed for 12 900 mm span between rows 4 and 7 and for 4 800 mm between rows 7 and 8. The spatial rigidity of the structure is not only secured by the rigid connection of pillars and foundation combined with the frame-connected roof rungs. It is mainly maintained thanks to the system of vertical wall bracings interacting with the horizontal bracing of the roof. Between the pillar rows B, C, D, E, F and G and 8 to 9 a construction of a substation is attached. In the engine room is situated technological structure. The construction is formed by supporting frames consisting of pillars type HEA, rungs type IPE and HEA and vertical bracing of rolled profiles. Pillars type HEA are connected to foundation using articulated connection. The rigidity of the structure is secured both ways by vertical bracing and by the connection of the plateau beams with the hall girders.
Hippodrome
Václavíková, Veronika ; Barnat, Jan (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The theme of this Master´s thesis is to design and assess the load Bering steel structure of the hippodrome in Napajedla. The hippodrome is solved as a hall object in two alternatives. Both alternatives are elliptical in shape with dimensions of 40 and 80 m. Load bearing structure of the chosen alternative is formed by transversely oriented column binding with the axial spacing of 6,0 m. Transversely oriented binding is formed from spatial lattice truss supported by fixed solid columns. The spatial rigidity of the structure is ensured by fixing columns in the transverse direction and by using transverse braces in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal braces help to ensure the spatial rigidity. The work consists of the design and assessment of the main load bearing components, the solution of chosen details of joints and columns´ anchoring, solution of construction component and the elaboration of statement of material and drawings´ documentation.
Reinforced concrete and masonry bearing structure of a multi-storey building
Fojtek, František ; Laníková, Ivana (referee) ; Šimůnek, Petr (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design and assessment of a load-bearing monolithic reinforced concrete structure of an administrative building. Specifically, it is a locally supported ceiling slab, the dominant feature of which is a circular opening with a diameter of two meters, an inner column and a staircase. The analysis of the structure was performed by the finite element method in the SCIA Engeneer 18.1 program and verified by the method of spare frames. The structure is designed and assessed according to ČSN EN 1992-1-1 and ČSN 73 1201.
Assessment of the economic efficiency of low-energy and passive house
Maixner, Lukáš ; Klímová, Lenka (referee) ; Vaňková, Lucie (advisor)
The aim of this diploma thesis is to assess the economic efficiency of alow-energy and passive construction. This paper presents problems of lowenergy and passive construction, their individual characteristics, classification, construction materials, evaluation methods and opportunities for economic assessment due to the investment costs of implementation objects. The main practical part focuses on comparing the investment and operating costs for the construction of a standard, low-energy and passive house. Together with this are processed simple labels building. The out come of this diploma thesis is the calculation of returnability increased by the initial investment in the construction of a standard, low-energy and passive house.
Station building
Dušková, Jitka ; Hron, Lukáš (referee) ; Pilgr, Milan (advisor)
The main aim of this master´s thesis is design and Cheb load-carrying steel structure of railway station in two variatons. A given object is situated in Ústí nad Orlicí.The steel structure is created by central nave, his dimensions is 30,0 x 30,0 m, and two secondary naves and his dimensions is 18,0 x 18,0 m.The central nave is two-storey height 12,4 m and secondary nave is single-storey height 5,5 m. Carrying building systém is created croos-column links, which are composed pipes. Cross-links are saved on fixed columns. The calculation was done through the use of Scia Engineer 2008 program and by myself alone.
