Airconditioning of hockey hall
Novotný, Jan ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
The topic of this Bechelor thesis is a design of two air handlig units for hockey hall and background join whit it. The device are design to meet the operating, hygienic and fuctional requirements for internal microclimate. Unit No. 1 serving the changing rooms and the nearest hockey hall facilities will ensure fresh air filtration, heat recovery, heating of the supply air in the transition and winter period by means of a water exchanger and cooling of the supply air in the summer period, without controlled adjustment of relative humidity. Unit No. 2 will ensure hygienic ventilation with fresh air in the area of the hall itself, dehumidification of this area and its cooling. The theoretical part is focused on the options when it comes to cooling in an air handling.

Noise reducing of aircraft engines
Čirka, Martin ; Kaddour, Mirvat (referee) ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (advisor)
Nowadays, aircraft transportation influences everyday life in our society, but not only by its advantages of efective traveling, but also by its negative impact on environment, therefore us, people. Due to this reason, I decided to concern myself about noise reducing of aircraft engines in this thesis. Research in this field helps to develop comfort of traveling, but also very important fact is noise impact on people living in surroundings near airports. To understand problem to the roots, first we need to know how is noise actually defined. First part of my bachelor’s thesis contains describtion of sound and noise. I’m also focusing on methods for noise measurement and actions, which are used for noise reduction. Greatest success have been made with Variable Geometry Chevrons, which can adjust to different flying conditions and not just reduce noise, but also can keep thrust of the engine at the same level and is also reducing fuel consumtion during level flight. In fourth chapter, you’ll come to know about regulations, which were made to adopt standards and recommended practices concerning aircraft polution. Also very important factor for setting up new standards is process of aircraft testing, so I summed up principles and procedures, which are usedby aviation organizations.

Noise reduction in LASER source device for optical trap
Gajzler, Vojtěch ; Adámek, Roman (referee) ; Brablc, Martin (advisor)
This work focuses on the reduction of noise in a laser source to increase the efficiency of an optical trap. The first part describes the issue of noise, methods of noise suppression, and the Red Pitaya control board. The following section thoroughly describes the program development using Simulink and Xilinx Vivado. Furthermore, the method of noise reduction using a PI controller is described. The conclusion of the work is focused on evaluating the experiment to verify the effectiveness of noise reduction.

HVAC of part of the hospital department
Pěnčíková, Monika ; Rubina, Aleš (referee) ; Hirš, Jiří (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the comprehensive design of a new workplace with instrumentation, and thus also the technical equipment of part of this hospital department. It will be modernized and equipped with new, more efficient devices. The construction work will take place within the interior of the building, with the exception of the replacement of windows and the installation of an HVAC unit on the roof. The affected spaces are marked in the drawing section and contain a SPECT x-ray examination room, a control room from where employees control the necessary equipment, an entrance hall, three patient changing rooms, a toilet or a patient background and a secondary examination room. The area in question is divided into two functional units. The theoretical part is devoted to hospitals, their definitions and divisions. Subsequently, I deal with radiology and the necessary technical background for the SPECT area in question.

Audio signal denoising using deep learning
Pacal, Tomáš ; Záviška, Pavel (referee) ; Mokrý, Ondřej (advisor)
This thesis deals with noise removal in audio signal using deep learning. The basic types of neural networks and their use in audio signal processing are described. The possibilities of implementing neural networks are tested in Matlab and Python. Subsequently, a~convolutional neural network model is proposed, according to which four different convolutional network architectures are implemented and then trained and tested on different types of noise. Based on these tests, one architecture was selected and subjected to a comparative test on a speech recording and then on a music recording, together with a noise reduction method using wavelet transform. The results are evaluated using both objective sound quality metrics and an informal listening test. The neural network achieved better results according to all the metrics used as well as in the listening test.

Noise study of heat pump
Gregorovičová, Eva ; Hejčík, Jiří (referee) ; Jedelský, Jan (advisor)
The thesis deals with a noise study of a heat pump, which is important for the assessment of the acoustic comfort of people. The thesis describes the theory of basic terms, quantities, measuring devices and the chosen method of determining sound power. The acoustic properties and technical condition of the measured heat pump, its possible noise sources and the possibilities of reducing their emissions are also described. The total noise level of the device is determined by the intensity probe according to the scanning method according to ČSN ISO 9614-2. Based on the acoustic map and frequency spectrum, the partial noise sources of the heat pump are identified. The resulting values from the measurements are compared with the manufacturer's values. The noise situation is assessed by measuring and comparing the measured values with the hygienic limits. Furthermore, the designs of the noise protection measures are assessed, and the design of the noise protection measures for the specific case is carried out. Finally, possible noise protection measures are implemented and experimentally verified. The results confirm the need for further development of heat pumps to reduce noise emissions.
