The result of the work should contribute to improving the quality of photodocumentation of braking traces. To creating a procedure to eliminate as much as possible the loss of information during tracking documentation.

Comparison of Motivation of Instagram and Polaroid Users

The diploma thesis deals with the motivation of users of Polaroid and Instagram, under the assumption that both media have nearly immediate result and may have a very similar visual stylization. The theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to a brief summary of the history of photography and philosophical opinions on that topic. It introduces Polaroid and Instagram and outlines the possible motivations of their users, using both the scientific literature, as well as personal blogs, articles and interviews. The practical part of the thesis describes the design and process of the original research, which consists of a standardized questionnaire, and its results. With its help we confirm or disprove our hypothesis.

TITLE: Digital Photograph - Wildlife AUTHOR: Roman Neckář DEPARTMENT: Charles University in Prag, Faculty of Education SUPERVISOR: Mgr. Jiří Hanuš ANOTATION This barchelor thesis "Digital Photograph - Wildlife" engages in taking photographs of a wildnature. The first part of the thesis "Technology of photography and an accessories" focuses on a history of photography, describes differences between a classical and a digital photography, a necessary equipment related to this activity and photographic styles. It includes a description of my own photographic way, examples of photographs, a presentation of my creation with a legend of origin and a philosophical view of a photography. The second part of the thesis, didactical-research part, describes one-year guesting on children's group "Ranger" in the National Park Bohemian Switzerland. There was explained and demonstrated in nine lessons an issue of a digital photography, focused on taking photographs of a wildnature and a manual managing of the equipment for taking photographs. The aim of this thesis is acquainting with a digital photography and an introduction into photography of a wildnature. Paparazzis and their photograpies in the czech press

Paparazzis and their photographies became an essential part of modern journalism however this fact goes along with a certain impatience from the media consumers and also from the media experts. However paparazzis are looked at in a negative point of view, the demand for such photographies is still increasing which naturally makes paparazzis more active. The purpose of this study is to introduce the issue of the paparazzi photography to the wider reader's audience and to analyse its specific characteristics and enclosure the methods which are widely used by the photographers. This study also includes the comparison of czech and foreign paparazzi photography and tries to define the main differences with the focus to czech media market. It also describes the origin and the evolution of scandal-oriented photography and characterizes the press in which the photographies are published and tries to describe the crutial signs of paparazzi photography. In this study there is also a part which focuses on describing the research which the author took part in along with one of the photographers. In the methodological part it analyses the results and in the additional part the reader has a chance to read an interview with czech paparazzi.

Camera Positioning Device

This master’s thesis deals with the design of a drive for a camera positioning device that could be used for shooting videos and timelapses. The optimal drive and power supply as well as the steering program based on the Arduino platform program are developed. The construction prototype adapted for printing at 3D printers is also designed. The whole system is then produced and tested.

Application for the Camera Image Editing for Android

In this thesis I dealt with creation of application for editing image from camera. Apliacation is for operating system Android. Aim was to study possibilities of image editing and of creating applications for platform Android. And next aim was to use discovered informations to develop application. Problem was solved by creating of framework for platform Android for image editing. This framework was used for develope application. Framework provides visual components useful for creation application GUI. Created application provides extra feature to create a custom effect by composition of filters from OpenCV library. Output is Android application and poster demonstrating the application. Next output is framework making development of applications for image editing easier. Framework contains also documentation with description of framework and instructions for use.
