Construction of a multipurpose building

This Bachelor thesis deals with a technology of the rough upper construction of a fire station. The project of the machine set, the inspecting and testing plan, BOZP, the budget and the timetable are added to technological methods. I also worked out the technical report of the building sites facilities including drawings needed. The construction-technological solution of the supplemental thermal insulation of the fire station within the technological regulation, the heat technical assessment, the proposed location of the fasteners, the draft of final processing with respect of HBW index are also elaborated in this thesis. Variant solutions and the assessing of the suitability for using pipe and mobile scaffolding are incorporated as well.

Family House

The family house is designed as a full-basement structure, with one basement and two above grade storeys. The access to the building is realized by reinforced concrete stairway. Basement enter by car is under a tilt of 10%. The main entrance to the building is located on the first floor and leads you to the entry. Garage is located right in the basement as well as fire-room with laundry, technical room, cellar, WC and stairway leading to the first floor, where the living room linked by kitchen with dinning room is situated, as well as there is buttery, study room, bathroom with WC and stairway to basement and second floor there. In the second floor you can find two childrens’ rooms one of which dispose of balcony, then bedroom with dressing-room, storage room and bathroom with WC. The facade of the building is as External Thermal Insulation Contact System (ETICS), roofed by platform of 3% tilt covered by grey color hydro-insulation Construction of foundation is realized on strip footing and bearing plates. The structural system of first and second floor is brickwork consisting of ceramic building blocks POROTHERM 30 P+D, basement structural system is furring blocks grouted-in by concrete reinforced with steel bars (sacrificial formwork). The ceiling is realized as ceramic-concrete structure POROTHERM of thickness 250 mm. Heating is provided by gas condensing boiler, which is set in fire-room in basement.

Detached house with private office

The objective of this thesis is to draw up the design documentation for the construction of a detached house with private office. Object is a basement with garage for two cars. The building has two floor and one grand floor with garage for two cars. The building is set in sloping terrain. Load-bearing structure is formed by formwork Best and structural system by Porotherm. The building is coverd by saddleback roof and walkable green roof.

The design of ETICS using insulation core made of aerated concrete

This thesis deals with theoretical suggestions of contact self-supporting insulation system with an insulating core made of porous concrete. The text prepared knowledge about ETICS system, the properties of porous concrete are thoroughly described, including the history and the most often used technology for production of porous concrete. The conclusion is made by comparison of economical and thermal insulation criteria using optimizing calculation and the applicability criteria of proposed ETICS are stated.

Family house with surgery

The project is solving object for living. Is it family house with the private physioterapist’s surgery. The object is standing separately and has two floors above ground and one floor under ground. The 2nd floor is solved as attic. For masonry is used material ceramic bricks with the ETICS, the ceiling is made from POT & MIAKO systeme with reinforcing components. In underground floor is used material the lost formwork concrete blocks with the armature and additional insulation. For the roof is used combination of saddle roof and hip roof, with angle 35 degrees. Object is located in peripheral locality of the city Jaroměř. Surrounding terrain is flat.

Hodnocení variant řešení dodatečného fasádního tepelně izolačního systému

The aim of this Bachelor thesis is to evaluate selected solutions for additional thermo-isolation facade system -- External Thermal Insulation Composite System. The theoretical part is focused on presentation of the most important legislative and also on definition of basic terms -- Wall's insulation and Decisive technical parameters for selection of insulation system. I put there also overview of selected thermo-isolation systems ETICS, which I compared on the basis of their thermo technical qualities. Within practical part of this thesis I chose building and evaluated its thermo technical qualities. On the basis of thermovision measuring I pointed on faults of used insulation system. I also did an evaluation of qualities of alternative materials.

Day care users' human rights protection

This thesis shortly refers to the history of social service in the Czech Republic. It determines the basic terms, which were used: nursing service, standards of quality, human rights defence. The theortical part of this work also concerns the law on social care, its meaning and basis for defending the human rights of social care users. The practical part of this work summarizes the outputs of several dialogs and analyzes the data from this research. Within this research it was verified whether the users of social care are satisfied with the level of human rights protection and if they really percieve it as the most important right protected by theCharter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms: the right to human dignity. Another part of the research deals with the questin whether the users and public know about the responsibility of the provider to have the human rights protection anchored in its documents and whether the users and their families want to actively participate in the creation of the corresponding rules. An integral part of this work is a draft standard for the nursing care that could help defend human rights anchored in theCharter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms.

How to provide the satisfaction of patients` needs in a multicultural taking care from the nurses` point of view

Abstract The subject of research in this bachelor´ s thesis is to ascertain how the patients´ needs satisfaction is ensured in a multicultural nursing in view of nurses qualified in general nursing. The research was carried out in the hospital in Blansko by means of a questionnaire to be filled in willingly and anonymously. People of different nationalities, cultures, habits, and mentality have been coming to this country. Some of them come to work here and they want to build up a home, others come to spend their vacation only, to visit their relatives and friends, or they come to study. Each of them has different needs; they take care of their health in a different way; and they also perceive disease differently. A great bilateral problem is the language barrier and the communication closely related. The objective of the thesis was to find out what the greatest problem was in satisfying the foreigners´ needs in the hospital in Blansko; which of the foreigners were most frequently treated patients; and whether they had specific needs. The assumed hypotheses were determined as follows: 1. the greatest problem in satisfying the foreigners´ needs in the hospital in Blansko is the language barrier. 2. the most frequently treated foreigners in the hospital in Blansko are the Mongolians who have no specific needs. The nurses qualified in general nursing were provided with 140 questionnaires; thereof 115 were returned; 101 questionnaires were filled in correctly, and these were used for this quantitative research. Through the research investigation it was ascertained that the supposed hypothesis No. 1 was confirmed to state that the greatest problem in satisfying the foreigners´ needs in the hospital in Blansko was the language barrier and the associated communication (graphs 20 and 24). The assumed hypothesis No. 2 was confirmed; 26% of the respondent nurses replied that the most frequently treated foreigners in the hospital in Blansko were the Mongolians who had no specific needs (graphs 7 and 16). The investigation led to the ascertainment that the care of a foreigner is more demanding than that of a Czech patient especially due to the language barrier on both sides (graph 13). The foreigners´ satisfaction is not monitored in 56% (graph 17). The general results of the research show that the care of the foreigners in this country is at a standard level, while the language barrier remains the only and principal problem.
