Technical project for a camera system i a mountain hotel offering digital and analoque camera alternatives
Tománek, Jiří DiS ; Kos, Jiří (advisor)
The thesis deals with a project of camera observation system for a mountain hotel. The project design goes from the enclosed lay-out plans of the building and from the camera system's requirements. It describes the solutions with analog CCTV cameras and with digital IP cameras. Graphic instruments as a Digital Video Recorder for analog system and as a high-powered computer for digital system are optimised to the number of cameras and the requirements on recording. The thesis describes all hardware and software used for execution of the project including the setting and bonding. The costs of single options and time needed for execution of the project are displayed in charts. The final part of the thesis explains the designed camera systems and their costs and describes their advantages and disadvantages.

Controlling and Evaluation of Laser Micromanipulation Experiments
Kaňka, Jan ; Jákl, Petr (referee) ; Provazník, Ivo (advisor)
This work is focused on the development of a user friendly software interface using the LabViewTM environment that simplifies running of various experiments using laser micromanipulations and laser microspectroscopy of living microorganisms. Both techniques have been developing very fast for the last decade and belong to the growing group of contact-less and nondestructive techniques for manipulation and diagnostics of individual living microorganisms, cells, or viruses. Within this project we mastered the driving of peripheries, calibration of CCD scene, real-time image processing of the CCD scene, automatic selection of the cell for further laser processing, acquisition and processing of the Raman spectrum from living microorganisms. The final goal of our activity is fully automatic laser-based sorter of living cells depending on their chemical compositions. This work has been elaborated at the Institute of Scientific Instruments of the ASCR, v.v.i. under the supervision of prof. Pavel Zemanek.

Electron optical properties of the cathode lens combined with a focusing magnetic/immersion-magnetic lens
Konvalina, Ivo ; Hovorka, Miloš ; Müllerová, Ilona
Cathode lens (CL) is an electron optical element commonly used in the photo-emission electron microscopy (PEEM), low energy electron microscopy (LEEM) and last but not least in the scanning electron microscopy (SEM). We have used the EOD software for calculation of aberration coefficients for the sequential and overlapped fields.

Mapování povrchu pevných těles kontaktním profilometrem
Hiklová, Helena
Taylor Hobson instrument Form Talysurf Series 2 is introduced into this paper. This device is mechanical contact inductive profilometer for measuring roughness, waviness and form of solid surfaces. Owing to special electric circuitry it is able to work with extraordinary resolution and high accuracy. To get possession of more complete picture of the surface the instrument can create 3D surface topography by software controlled measuring row of parallel profiles. Measurements are analyzed via PC using the TalyMap software manufactured by Taylor Hobson Precision.

Raman tweezers for sorting of living cells
Pilát, Zdeněk ; Ježek, Jan ; Kaňka, Jan ; Šerý, Mojmír ; Jákl, Petr ; Zemánek, Pavel
We have developed an instrument for automatized analysis and sorting of living cells of unicellular algae and other micro-objects based on laser tweezers and Raman spectroscopy. The system comprises the Raman tweezers setup, special microfluidic chip, and a specialized software allowing image recognition, spectral analysis, and automated sorting functions. The resulting instrument allows non-destructive analysis of chemical properties of living cells and their automatic separation for further examination or cultivation.

Design of a photovoltaic source connection to the grid
Rozmarín, Jiří ; Dostál, Lukáš (referee) ; Valenta, Jiří (advisor)
This bachelor thesis describes questions of photovoltaic power output of the part of distribution substation 22/0,4kV. The first part is focused on the simple description of sotware, which can be used in the design. The second and the fourth part deals with the actual design of substation, in the terms of its instrumentation, calculations for design and conductor sizing. The last part deals with the thorough check of the proposed power distribution and all the related equipment.

OPTIMALIZACE PROJEKTOVÉHO PLÁNOVÁNÍ VÝVOJOVÝCH PROJEKTŮ S OHLEDEM NA PROPOJENÍ SE SOUČASNĚ POUŽÍVANÝMI PLÁNOVACÍMI A SLEDOVACÍMI NÁSTROJI
Šaršon, Vít ; Zajíček, Miroslav (advisor) ; Burgerová, Jiřina (referee)
This thesis is focused on project planning and management optimalization in the department of technical evaluation FEM (TKF/1), Škoda Auto, a. s. Its theoretical part specifies the framework of project management, including the methodology of project leadership and software instruments. Afterwards it mentions various types of organisational structure, stressing the matrix structure. The practical part starts with the description of the company, of its organisational structure and of activities explaining processes in TKF/1. Then follows an analyse of the current situation in the project leadership of the observed department, that is summarised in a well-arranged SWOT. Based on these outlines, a new organisational structure is proposed, as well as a new process of the development projects' planning. The thesis contains a proposal of setting of sources out from the corporate fund of sources that facilitates an effective capacity planning of whole department, and it also contains a template of development activity in MS Project.

Modální analýza bubenické paličky metodou konečných prvků
Sochor, Petr
This thesis examines the issues associated with drumstick mechanical properties and possibilities of experimental methods and theoretical descriptions. Gradually, it focuses on the use of numerical methods to describe the behavior of musical instruments, especially percussion. The methodology explains the construction of a model drumstick and execution of modal analysis using a commercially available software ANSYS. The goal of the methodolgy is a comparison of natural frequencies and mode shapes for each alternative model. Design alternatives were also compared in terms of geometry, material composition and the impact on the natural frequencies and vibration shapes. The final step of this method was a creation of a modified drumstick model using composite materials.

Frequency measurement
Milota, Martin ; Havránek, Zdeněk (referee) ; Čejka, Miloslav (advisor)
The theme of this thesis is presentation of the CompactRIO platform by National Instruments with its range of hardware and the possibility of using this platform for the frequency measurement of analog signals. The result of this thesis is software equipment for this device focusing on the frequency measurement of analog signals and experimental verification of posibilities of a specific configuration of this platform in the range of measurable frequencies.
