Bayesian modeling of market price using autoregression model
Šindelář, Jan ; Kárný, Miroslav (advisor) ; Pawlas, Zbyněk (referee) ; Šmíd, Martin (referee)
1 Bayesian modeling of market price using autoregression model 1Šindelář Jan Department: Department of Probability and Mathematical Statistics Supervisor: Ing. Miroslav Kárný, DrSc. Abstract: In the thesis we present a novel solution of Bayesian filtering in autoregression model with Laplace distributed innovations. Estimation of regression models with lep- tokurtically distributed innovations has been studied before in a Bayesian framework [2], [1]. Compared to previously conducted studies, the method described in this article leads to an exact solution for density specifying the posterior distribution of parameters. Such a solution was previously known only for a very limited class of innovation distributions. In the text an algorithm leading to an effective solution of the problem is also proposed. The algorithm is slower than the one for the classical setup, but due to increasing com- putational power and stronger support of parallel computing, it can be executed in a reasonable time for models, where the number of parameters isn't very high. Methodology of Testing Web Applications
Šplíchalová, Marcela ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Hostomský, Stanislav (referee)
The principle aim of this thesis is to create an unified methodical framework for a smaller Software Testing Department. Furthermore, its aim is to define and describe an important element of testing - the software mistake, define the way of its reporting and finally with the view of it to specify the troubleshooting areas of web applications. The last aim is to find a solution of how to publish this methodology. The aims of this thesis were reached by studying available theoretical findings and applications of principles that are known from notorious and approved methodologies which complexly focus on the software development. These principles were confronted with author's practical experience. Based on these processes, the methodology described above has been originated The contribution of the thesis is in the inner structure of the methodology, summarization of the most important information, application of practical personal experiences and adapting some elements of the methodology according to its usage in a small team. Other strong points are the proposals and recommendations of how to improve the situation on the testing department of a particular company, how to publish the methodology and how to maintain it in the future. The thesis is composed of three main parts. In the first chapter, the essential characteristics of testing, models of the life cycle of software development, sorts and levels of tests are given. The second chapter is the crucial part of the thesis. It describes the whole methodology - the main workflow and its details (processes), activities made during these processes, roles occurring in the methodology and the description of its responsibility (for activities and artefacts), artefacts made on the testing department, full description of mistake and its reporting and finally the summary of mistakes appearing in the web applications environment. The last chapter attends to the way of putting the methodology into operation - technical coverage of particular parts of the methodology in the present time, suggestion of improvement the testing in the future and possibilities of the publication of the methodology.

This thesis is concerned in a case study of a patient with a scrotal hernia. The patient is Mr. J. M. in age of 82 years, who arrived on the surgery department for a planned surgery of a scrotal hernia. In clinical part, I am concerned in an anatomy of a groin and a scrotum, general characteristics and pathophysiology of hernia, its clinical screen and diagnosis. Following with a consequent surgery healing, possible complications and a general prognosis of the disease. This part also contains medical anamnesis of the patient, a progression of the hospitalization and healing. In the nursing part, I use the Functional health model by Marjory Gordon. I got information about patient health from his health documentation, also by talking with the patient, his family, doctors, nurses and other personnels. I summarized the information to specify 5 actual and 3 potential diagnosis. The order was given by the priorities of the patient with respect to his actual health state. I provided a nursing care plan for solving individual problems. In this part, I am also concerned in progression of the hospitalization and an evaluation of a nursing care in a long-term plan. The thesis also contains a chapter about education of the patient and his family. I focused also on the psychology of the patient, summarization of his...

Utilizing nurse counsellor in the care of incurably ill
JANSOVÁ, Markéta
The care of incurable ill seems to be a current topic because of modernization of health care curing today the states and diseases from which people used to die much earlier than today. From this reason, there is more and more incurably ill people and the role of nurse counsellor for the incurably ill is more and more significant. The nurse counsellor´ s task should be especially to be near the incurable ill and their families, to help them to orient themselves in this demanding situation, to provide important information and as the case may be to help them in the provision of more suitable care. Goals C1 have been set for this work ``To find out the idea the laic public has about the care in the situations after having found out that they would have been incurably ill``; C2: ``To find out the care assistant staff opinion on the possibility of utilizing the nurse counsellor in the care of incurably ill``; C3: ``To find out the possibilities of utilizing the nurse counsellor in the care of incurably ill`` and C4: `` To find out who should be the provider of counselling care after the client finds out that he is incurable ill``. Furthermore, hypotheses have been set H1: The counsellor nurse is able to intervene based on the problematic of the care being expressed by laic public in case of finding out an incurable illness``. H2: ``The care assistant staff does not consider the counsellor nurse´s role real because of not specified competences in the relevant legislation``. H3: ``The care assistant staff confuses the educator nurse´s role and the counsellor nurse´s role``. Qualitative-quantitative investigation has been conducted. In the qualitative part, the research set for the interview consisted of 4 nurses from oncological, surgical, out-patient and neurological department and 4 lays. The research set of the research investigation quantitative part consisted of 116 respondents: nurses from the subsequent care, out-patient, surgical, neurological and oncological department at the hospital Nemocnice České Budějovice, a. s. and at the St. J.N.Neumanna hospice in Prachatice; and further 112 respondents-lays. From the evaluated results, it can be concluded that both the nurses and lays are interested in a counsellor nurse whose utilization would be, however, problematic because of not specified competences in the legislation. Further on it is necessary to emphasise the dominant value ensued from the research investigation {--} the family``.
