The main aim of this dissertation is to provide evidence on the development of bilateral trade relations related to manufacturing industry between Hungary, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Poland, Slovenia, Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia and the old Member States of the EU (EU 15/EU 25) through focus on the intra-industry trade phenomenon during the period delimited by years 1995, 1999, 2004 and 2007. Based on data from Eurostat Easy Comext database classified according to the Standard International Trade Classification (Rev.3), Grubel-Lloyd indices are computed at the level of 3-digit and 1-digit manufacturing industries (SITC 5, 6, 7, 8) and thereafter aggregate to the level of manufacturing sector as a whole (SITC 5 - 8). Consequently, Greenaway, Hine and Milner methodology is used for disentangling intra-industry trade into its horizontal and vertical components (the latter being further separated into low quality vertical intra-industry trade and high quality vertical intra-industry trade) on the basis of unit value indices. The results show that the share of intra-industry trade in total trade between the countries in focus is increasing during the complete period in all countries and all sectors with SITC 6, 7 and 8 clearly inclining to intra-industry specialization. Altogether, the predominant specialization in high quality vertical IIT is presented, implying so far only slowly advancing convergence steps of the new Member States towards the path of the initial Members of the EU.

Medial models for the development of equal perception of minority groups at children
Hanáková, Justina ; Horáková Hoskovcová, Simona (advisor) ; Šulová, Lenka (referee)
The diploma thesis is focused on medial models of the minority group's equal perception development by preschool aged children. The theoretical part discourses in the wider context of the socialisation process about aspects important in this relation. It turns to the topics of social learning, attitudes towards minorities, attitudes' formation, mass communication and its impact on preschool children. The empiric part focuses on analysis of the chosen both electronic and printed medial production assigned to Czech preschool children, including comparison between Czech and foreign production. Within the analysis the either presence or absence of such medial models is investigated, which might have an influence on Czech children's attitude forming towards minority groups. Consequently it is evaluated whether between identified models such models exist, which could have a potential for actuating recipient in the sense of equal perception development towards minority groups.

Shaken baby syndrome problems and prevention from the nurse retrospective view
DRAXLEROVÁ, Milena
Abstract {--} Shaken baby syndrome problems and prevention from retrospective nurse point of view The dissertation objective on the theme {\clqq}Shaken baby syndrome problems and prevention from retrospective nurse point of view`` is to process an entire literature and outline the shaken baby syndrome problem. Further to find out the shaken baby syndrome knowledge at nurses and parents by way of analysis and questionnaires evaluation. The third aim of this thesis was to develop the simple educational material for the parents within this work. To meet these objectives the dissertation is divided into theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical one devotes to entire available literature processing related to shaken baby syndrome. The practical part focuses on the quantitative knowledge extent finding out at nurses and parents referring to shaken baby syndrome above all and concentrates on the parents education from nurse side, especially in the field of the baby cry as the main shaken baby syndrome initiator. The data of the quantitative research part have been learned by means of questionnaire disquisition. There were used two kinds of questionnaires, the first for nurses and the second one for parents and home nurses. Both of them were anonymous. The simple developed information material for parents concentrating mainly on correct ways of cry soothing related to shaken baby syndrome is the part of results. Three hypothesises have been set for work needs. Hypothesis 1 {\clqq}There are many sources of the professional literature concerning shaken baby syndrome in the Czech Republic`` hasn´t come true. Hypothesis 2 {\clqq}The parents and health workers knowledge about shaken baby syndrome is wanting`` has come true. Hypothesis 3 {\clqq}Shaken baby syndrome primary prevention doesn´t exist in the Czech Republic`` has also come true. The nurses and parents poor knowledge about the shaken baby syndrome was the important fact found out within research disquisition. With respect to serious consequences of shaken baby syndrome which can be sometime fatal for children there is a need to meet nurses this syndrome and enable them to be familiar with recognition and determination of the shaken baby syndrome risk factors both from the parents and children side. Thus this work could also serve as a source of more information about mentioned problems. The developed information material for parents could have another utilization during their care of child.

The football language from the point of view of the non-native speakers
Bartoňová, Jana ; Dovalil, Vít (advisor) ; Sherman, Tamah (referee)
My work is focused on adoption of foreign language and language skills of Czech football players in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. The basis of my research is a complex of ten dialogues with contemporary or former football players, who helped to analyse their language skills. Information I gained give us a full survey about German language during their staying - it shows their original knowledge, requirements of their clubs, possibilities of option to learn and their consequences and the reached language level. As well it was shown, that the situations can occur, which can make the adoption of the language easier or harder. Getting of language skills proved to be very individualistic phenomenon. The linguistic education of football players is complicated by the fact, that commonly used German language is different from the language used on the football pitch. Four dialogues in German language allowed me the detailed language analysis.

Selfreflection of teacher's work can be an incentive towards improving his further work and contribute to professional growth of a teacher and his lifelong learning. The practical part of this thesis is focused on frequency of self-reflection, its timing, use of self-reflective methods and consequent use of information found.

The importance of Anamnesis within the Treatment of Children in Various Development Stages
KUBIŠOVÁ, Pavla
The Bachelor{\crq}s work deals with a theme on Importance of Anamnesis within the Treatment of Children in Various Development Stages. The treatment documentation, in our case referred to as treatment anamnesis, is an essential part in order to provide a relevant treatment care. First of all, a nurse or other healthcare professional has to learn more about a patient as well as to find out detailed information in order to formulate a diagnosis and to decide on the most suitable treatment plan provided. Individual procedures and the principles followed when obtaining the information are as well very essential. There were two aims and two investigative questions established. The first aim of the Bachelor{\crq}s work was to focus on different ways that vary in obtaining the treatment anamnesis concerning children in various development stages. The second aim of the work was to draft a treatment documentation used for obtaining the anamnesis concerning children in particular stages of development. The first investigative question raises query if there are any distinctions in obtaining data or information about children{\crq}s patients in particular life stages. The second investigative question focuses on methods used by nurses or healthcare professionals to collect a medical history about children{\crq}s patients in particular life stages. The investigation was executed by a qualitative method using non standardized encounters, data analyses and observations. Nurses working in the children{\crq}s ward in the hospital in Strakonice and Písek were the subject to the research. The investigation was carried out during two weeks. It was ascertained during the investigation that the nurses working in the particular children{\crq}s wards in the hospital selected proceed differently when obtaining anamnesis information about particular children{\crq}s stages of life. The investigative question results in hypothesis no. 1: `Nurses who carry out the task vary in used methods of obtaining the anamnesis data concerning children.{\crq} Hypothesis no. 3: `Supporting documents used for obtaining the anamnesis data concerning children{\crq}s patients are not equal in healthcare centres.{\crq} The second investigative question result in findings that anthropometric measurements are ascertained in all children of different life stages. Some nurses do not follow the standard methods and principles of the encounters and not all nurses use correct methods when obtaining the information. Three further hypotheses result from the second investigative question: Hypothesis no. 2: `When collecting the anamnesis data, nurses do not follow the rules of guiding the interview with a patient.{\crq} Hypothesis no. 4: When collecting the anamnesis data concerning children{\crq}s patients, nurses always ascertain their anthropometrical features according to individual stages of development. Thus shows that the first aim was fulfilled as well as the second aim assessed. Within the context of the actual findings, we would recommend to propose documentation for obtaining the anamnesis data aimed for children{\crq}s wards in hospitals which would have the same, equal layout, best within the whole Czech Republic. It would be important to make the supporting documents simple and clear to understand in order to make nurses{\crq} job easier. The documentation would consequently simplify the formulations of treatment diagnoses, thus would contribute to provision of high quality of treatment in order to meet the patient{\crq}s needs. At the same time, it would be suitable to arrange courses and seminars focused on the stated theme aimed for individual hospitals and healthcare centres in the Czech Republic and to solve relevant problems concerning anamnesis documentation on the spot.

Professional injuries of health workers
KRÁTKÁ, Hana
I chose the topic of my thesis, professional injuries of health workers, because I wished to know how such problems are evaluated, as each of us has been or will be in a health facility some day and will see health workers performing their work. From my experience regarding health facilities, I knew that not all acts of health workers are appropriate, but I did not know whether they violate legislation or rules of operation, or whether their procedures are correct. Therefore I chose the topic in order to learn the facts about professional injuries and procedures followed by health workers when executing their jobs. Health workers are exposed to the risk of injury by a sharp object and to the associated risk of infection every day. In the Czech Republic, both non-professional and professional injuries are monitored. Health workers are also exposed to the risk of infections in consequence of professional injuries, such as hepatitis viruses A, B, C, D, E, HIV/AIDS, cytomegalovirus infection, infectious mononucleosis and syphilis. The aim of my thesis is to evaluate the monitored numbers of injuries of health workers in Ústí nad Labem according to determined criteria, and to focus on the observance of valid legal regulations when handling medical materials, medical means and dangerous waste. Further, the aim was to make health workers familiar with the research results and to participate in training on work safety in health facilities. The hypothesis of my thesis is that valid legislation is observed when handling medical materials, medical means and dangerous waste. As the research method, I used questionnaires, which were distributed in five hospital wards, and secondary data collection from health records of the years 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007, which were available at the anti-epidemic department of the Regional Hygienic Station in Ústí nad Labem. I think that the hypothesis as provided in my thesis was not confirmed as health workers do not observe the valid legislation in the Czech Republic. The aim of my work was fulfilled, because I processed the questionnaires in tables and graphs, and the secondary data collection was evaluated in tables and the obtained results were compared with other available resources regarding the problems. The findings of the thesis will be interpreted to the head nurse of Krajská zdravotní a.s. {--} Masarykova nemocnice (Masaryk Hospital) in Ústí nad Labem who will subsequently organize training of head nurses. Further, the findings will be used for the preparation of an educational program for health workers and will be interpreted to concerned persons.

Modulation of consequences of ischemia and hypoxia
Nohejlová, Kateryna ; Mareš, Jan (advisor) ; Šonka, Karel (referee) ; Vožeh, František (referee)
Modulation of consequences of ischemia and hypoxia Kateryna Nohejlová (maiden Deykun), MD Abstract It is known from literature that that many types of insults are accompanied by the increase of free radicals level. The models of three pathological states, which are known to be related to the changes in free radicals production, were used for the purposes of the work. These models were also chosen because the intensity of action of pathogenic factor borderlines the threshold of mainly functional CNS disturbances. It was need for the animals to survive the interventions in order use behavioral methods of assessment. For the estimation of the degree of disturbances were used tests of postural motor function and motor learning and spatial orientation. The action of free radicals was evaluated indirectly by application of their scavengers and antioxidants: tempol and melatonin, which act extracellularly as well as intracellularly. Scavengers were administered as prevention, before an insult, and as therapy, after an insult. The results were divided into three sets of experiments: 1. Focal photothrombotic ischemia of sensorimotor cortex: The performance of animals that received tempol treatment did not significantly differ from the animals subjected to plain ischemia in either of tests. Melatonin application...

Land cover changes in Ore Mountains and their possible impact on rainfall-runoff process
Kratochvílová, Petra ; Jeníček, Michal (advisor) ; Královec, Václav (referee)
Land cover changes in Ore mountains and their possible impact on rainfall-runoff process Abstract Land cover changes have occurred since the formation of Earth, but increasingly, these changes mainly in anthropogenic characters, a big problem in many places around the world. It is, therefore, necessary to monitor how land cover changes, and its impact on individual natural processes and use these results of studies in preventing or fix possible consequences of these changes. More and more disciplines are, therefore, also examines this issue. This paper deals with the assessment of land cover change and its impact on rainfall- runoff process, focusing mainly on mountain basin where this influence manifests itself most expressive, both influencing the water balance of the basin, and influence responses to extreme hydrological events. The findings are applied to the upper basin Chomutovka in the Ore mountains where the thesis evaluates changes in land cover on the basis of aerial photos from 1975, 1987 and the present day (2010). Changes are visualized using digital vectorization and color differentiation of areas of individual land cover types, further processed into a map series and subsequently quantified. According to the results are established the major factors of possible rainfall-runoff processes in...
