A preschool child and its fact of life
ŠVÍKOVÁ, Hana
The subject of this bachelor thesis was focusing on the world of the preschool child, his personal interests, needs and wishes and what parents do expect from their child. In the literary section the characteristic development of the preschool children is described as same as its strangenesses and possible impacts which can influence the development. In the experimental section there are results of interviews with both parents and children. They are focused on expectations of parents, about relationship between parents and children, about children interests, wishes and needs. The interviews with kids showed that children have enough (sometimes excess) of toys and other materials, at the same time they wish to do activities with their parents. It is difficult for children to have a close relationship with their parents because they are supposed to handle other skills then their parents had to. Today?s children are affected by media ? television, advertisement, internet, mobile phones. It is impossible for children to avoid these influences. They would by outsiders among children of the same age, in school, in a society. They would not be able to get information from media and use them. It depends on parents and it is an uphill struggle for them to manage a contact of children with media not children lose contact with new knowledge and not to lose a contact with a real world, its problems and joy. A childcare by parents is indispensable for the developement of children and it can not be replaced by kindergarten. But a kindergarten can help a relationship between child and parent by making a motion to common actions (home projects for kids etc.), the active access of parents to these access is necessary.

Bláhová, Irena ; Čabanová, Bohumila (advisor) ; Kotrusová, Miriam (referee)
The diploma "Accommodation social services as an instrument of social integration of social excluded people" deals with accommodation social services, focuses on Asylum. There are essential informations about all accommodation social services in the diploma. The diploma mentions concepts of social exclusion, social and culture capital, social integration and equality and equity as theoretical starting point. The diploma examines legal and other documents in the Czech Republic and within the European Union, which relate to the issue of social services for social excluded people. There is an analysis of one particular Asylum. The conceptions of social work had been researched in more detail. The diploma focuses on Asylum users and their unsatisfactory integration to the society. For this research was used the Asylum for men and mothers with children in Děčín town. The diploma mentions the reasons of admission of 17 users, who used the Asylum services in 2009. It analyses their reasons to come to the Asylum. And it also examines the reasons why they are not integrated to the society after they leave the Asylum. Which results in repetitional apply for Asylum.

Point Primitives on GPU
Skotáková, Jana ; Kmoch, Petr (referee) ; Pelikán, Josef (advisor)
In recent years representation of objects based on point primitives receives more interest. This thesis presents possibilities of processing of point-sampled models. It gives an overview of algorithms that can be used in solving problems like deformation or animation of point-sampled models. There is also described how such models can be obtained. In the following part Level Of Detail is presented with regard to point-sampled models. There are given basic methods and factors used for the LOD selection. Furthermore, there is proposed and implemented transfer of parts of the selected LOD generating algorithm to GPU. This keeps CPU available for other parts of the algorithm or even other tasks. DirectX 10 is used for the GPU programming. DirectX 10 uses the new model of graphic pipeline that enables the transfer of more parts of algorithm to GPU.

Comparison of statistical software for demographical data analysis
Tůmová, Pavla ; Löster, Tomáš (advisor) ; Hulíková Tesárková, Klára (referee)
The objective of this thesis is to point out to possibilities of how to process demographic data using several statistical software systems. Programs with different approach to data processing and analysis have been chosen on purpose. The thesis is divided into three parts. The first one is theoretical. Terms and methods that have been used in the thesis are explained here and there is also an introduction to the Microsoft Office Excel, SAS and Matlab software. Second part maps sources of demographic data, attends to data formats and explains their usage and advantages. In the third part, selected tasks that are likely to encounter in demography are presented. They have been chosen so that they examine the programs from various views such as transparency, range of choice of statistical functions, ability to create graphical outputs etc. A general procedure, evaluation, output comments and own code implementation (if the functions are not integrated) are introduced for each of the tasks. In my thesis I focused mostly on the question of choosing proper software for demographic data analysis.

Physiotherapy of a displaced disc with reposition of a temporomandibular joint
BROŽKOVÁ, Aya
The topic of my bachelor thesis is physiotherapy of a displaced disc with reposition of a temporomandibular joint. It is a functional disorder, when the mandible disc is not in a physiological position and creates an obstacle for a condyle movement. When mouth is fully opened the disc does not return to its original position. This moment is characteristic with a clicking sound. Another symptom is inclining of the chin to the disordered site when the mouth is being opened. Main cause of TMD is stress, bad occlusion and a long-term micro trauma of TMJ. It is a topical issue, because an increase of stress in daily life causes also more TMD. Almost 70 % of the population has the TMD, in most of the cases the TMJ disc is in a wrong position. The therapy of this kind of disorder should be done by physiotherapist. Unfortunately knowledge of diagnosis and healing of the TMD is not sufficient. The disorder is recognized usually by dentists, who send a patient to a specialized clinic. The goal of my work was examining of mastication and neck muscle spasms. In the work there are also described physiotherapeutic possibilities of healing including postural strategy. I have created informational booklet for patients, in which saving method for TMJ healing, exercises, ergonomic principles and correct posture both when sitting and standing are presented. The research was done by 14 case analysis, analytic-inductive method and experimental work. Patients were randomly divided into three groups. As a first step TMJ and cervical spine of each patient and their posture were examined. The examination of TMJ consisted of diagnosis, extent and symmetry of an opening movement and palpation examination of the cervical spine. Therapy was six weeks long. Each patient was introduced to TMJ saving method, which is based on limitation of a TMJ movement, eating soft food and elimination of stress. In the first group (5 patients) the therapy was focused only on mastication muscles. Patients were supposed to be exercising to loosen the muscles of mastication. Exercises were chosen after palpation examination. Third group (4 patients) did neck muscle exercises and self massage. Second group (5 patients) did the therapy of both first and third group. Results of the therapy show, that there is a possible connection between TMD and cervical spine dysfunction. There were positive (evaluated subjectively) changes in both TMJ and in all groups. The condition of TMJ is influenced by neck muscle therapy and the condition of cervical spine is influenced by mastication muscle therapy. Best results had the second group. All patients but one improved (one lady had a TMJ inflammation). There were no deterioration of TMJ and cervical spine condition either. There were some worsening in group one and three. The best therapy is a combination of exercises of both mastication and neck muscles. I would like to point out a fact that TMJ is one of the most complicated and busy joints in human body. Both TMJ are connected to mandible so dysfunction of one joint can lead to problems with the other one. Physiotherapy is needed most in cases of functional disorder.

Boundaries of nurse's psyche between professional role and role of mother and wife
Zajíčková, Martina ; Štefančíková, Mariana (advisor) ; Vachková, Eva (referee) ; Pečenková, Jaroslava (referee)
Keywords: boundaries in psyche, personality, nurse, professional role, stress, burnout, marriage, parenthood. The aim of the thesis "Boundaries of nurse's psyche between professional role and role of mother and wife" is to map the boundaries of psyche of nurses as women who want and have to cope with the role of mother and wife while working in helping profession with continuous work-cycle. The aim was also to find out how both roles are mutually affected and how it is experienced by nurses. Whether they consider the possibility of planning the program with family to be sufficient, or whether they feel shift work as handicap. The theoretical part includes information about boundaries in the psyche of helping professions. It describes what this profession entails, what is the role of professional nurses. Overload and exhaustion results in problems such as stress and burnout. Further, the theoretical part deals with marriage, parental roles, division of labour in the household. The empirical part points out connection between profession and family. The research was performed in the form of semi-structured interview aimed at nurses' feelings concerning mutual interaction between professional and family life, and at the problems resulting from this mutual interaction. There were included all age...

Transformation of PMML files into Topic Maps
Ovečka, Marek ; Kliegr, Tomáš (advisor) ; Hazucha, Andrej (referee)
The goal of my bachelor thesis is to learn more about the possibilities of transformation of XML files into XML TopicMaps. Then I select one method and use it for implementation of transformation of PMML files, which contains model of association rules into TopicMap containing Association rule Ontology (AROn). For transformation, two different methods were selected. First is transformation of input XML file with XSLT and examples of how this can be done are shown. Second way is to use a programming engine, which enables to process input file and which implements either its own or standardized API for working with TopicMaps. For illustration of creating TopicMaps I have chosen TMAPI 2.0. Examples show basic operations such as creating new topic, creating association between two topics and creating occurrence. This paper consists of three main chapters. First is about the structure of input PMML document and its parts. Second chapter is about TopicMaps, the principle of this technology and possibilities of working with it are briefly shown. In the third chapter I comment all parts of the program which perform the transformation. In this chapter I also describe and explain the mapping between parts of the input XML file and the components of AROn ontology. The final program should serve as a component of the Sewebar project. For its complete functionality it needs to customize the transformation for the newest structure of the input document and customize the program itself for integration with other components of the project.

Introduction to work in GeoGebra throug problems formulated in a non-traditional way
Saulich, Lukáš ; Vondrová, Naďa (advisor) ; Zhouf, Jaroslav (referee)
The goal of diploma work was to suggest, create and trial in practice a series of problems which teachers can use to introduce students to work with dynamic geometry software (namely GeoGebra) in a way that is effective, time saving and provides students with new experience in mathematics. The literature search was carried out with the goal to identify different ways of this introduction. I have described two research projects in more detail. I have suggested and tested with students 6 mathematical problems connected by a story. The problems are situated against the photographic background, which is visually interesting and shows the connection between mathematics and reality. The teaching experiment showed that the suggested mathematical problems served my purposes well. The work includes the description of some problems that students had when working with GeoGebra. The creation of one of the mathematical problems is analysed in detail and 15 other problems created against a photographic background are given.
