The availability of broadband in Czech Republic.

The theme of this thesis is the availability of broadband in Czech Republic. There are described high-speed technologies in use in the first part. The most important mentioned technologies are wireless technologies and DSL technology. Next part is connected with concrete providers' offers and geographical availability of individual high-speed technologies. The second part of this dissertation is a proper exploration. This exploration is implemented by a question-form, which is about the situation of high-speed connection in respondents' households. The results are commented and then presented by tables and graphs. The testing and measurement of new Telefónica's naked ADSL service is also made in connection with changes in O2 ADSL service.

The writing as a cultural phenomenon

Tato práce bude představovat kulturologický pohled na téma, týkající se písma jako kulturního prvku, který lze zkoumat z několika různých pohledů. Struktura práce se rozdělí do dvou základních linií. První část se zaměří na historickou perspektivu, která nám, alespoň v evropském kontextu, pomůže objasnit hlavní pozadí vzniku písmového projevu a další motivace jeho geneze. Souhrnně bude tato kapitola zpracovávat téma: Písmo, jeho vznik a vývoj. Druhá část se zaměří na stanoviska tří teoretických okruhů. To znamená, že zde bude kladen důraz na metody oborů zabývajících se písmem a jeho významem pro lidskou kulturu a společnost. Těmito okruhy bude paleografie, gramatologie, zvláště pak psychologie písma neboli grafologie, která pro své netradiční pojetí písma zaujme z těchto tří oborů největší prostor. Důraz bude kladen na symboliku a výraz písma, dále na dlouhodobou tradici a rozvinutou metodiku. Jeden okruh zastoupí věda klasické povahy, která jasně definuje paradigmata a objekt svého výzkumu. Druhý okruh bude představovat "pouhý" postulát, který zachycuje pokus o novátorské pojetí našeho objektu. Třetím zástupcem je obor, jenž staví na empirické zkušenosti a zároveň vyhodnocuje své poznatky na základě subjektivního pozorování. Transdermal in vitro permeation of cyclosporine IV.

Rigorosal Thesis 2006, Hana Krejčová Abstract The theoretical section gives a brief overview of anatomy, physiology and function of the skin, transdermal formulations and options for increasing transdermal absorption of drugs. The main part of the chapter is focused on cyclosporine includes updated information published on knowledge of the human immune system, and immunosuppressants. Experimental work presents the results of in vitro permeation experiments on pig skin. Donor and acceptor phase was in most experiments consisting propylene glycol and Tris-buffer pH 7.1 at a 1:1 ratio. Only a few experiments have been used as the donor phase of 10% dispersion of CyA in isopropylmyristate. Permeant determination was performed by HPLC with UV detection at 220nm. As a donor samples were used in the supersaturated system without CyA Enhancer, then a 5% addition of DMI or arlasolve, pyrrolidone or transcutol, or 1% transkarbam 12. All enhancers in the used concentrations icreased a depot formation in the skin, transkarbam 12 in the lowest concentration. For transdermal in vitro permeation experiments CyA appears to be administered in more lipophilic donor phase. The ideal length of the permeation experiments, it appears time 15 hours.

The education and employment of prisoners within and after the execution of their confinement

Introduction of this bachelor thesis deals with an importance of terms "human capital" and "restorative justice". Nowadays, the main aim is not to incarcerate a criminal, but to stimulate him to change his behavior, in order to become a better man. Hence, there is a possibility for a criminal to extend his education, to take up a retraining course or to start working during the execution of his punishment. The main goal of this theses is to find out whether these activities, education, retraining courses or employment within the execution of a punishment are rather a benefit for both convicted and society. Huge range of projects have been created to strive for re-integration of former criminals into society and to the employment market. I will try to answer the question if a criminal becomes better by virtue of activities listed above and I would like to prove it with statistics related to the hight of recidivism, i.e. repeated criminal activity in the Czech Republic.

Jedná se o charakteristiky týkající se její geografie, struktury obyvatel, historie, politického systému a hlavně ekonomické charakteristiky včetně zahraničního obchodu. Druhá část se zabývá odlišnostmi v průběhu obchodního jednání s angolskými partnery. Tato část se věnuje také kulturním specifikům této země. Poslední kapitola je věnovaná bilaterálním vztahům mezi Českou Republikou a Angolou.

Optical cableless transmission

This diploma thesis first handles the general issues concerning free space optics in the~atmosphere. The aim is to design and implementation of optical wireless equipment, which would serve in the laboratories of optical networks. Ronja was used as the basis for a~wireless link, which is already widespread in the world. Students will work with the device, which they may come into contact in the future. It consists several separate modules: transmitter, receiver and inteface. Each module have a separate chapter describing the~functional blocks and circuit realization. Ronja was adjusted for the needs of~laboratory tasks, where additional voltmeters measures received signal strength (RSSI) at~both ends of the link. Measuring device provides adjustment of power the transmitting LED via~computer, measures and sends RSSI values to a PC via~USB or RS232, turn off Ronja with computer. For targeting the pipes of Ronja was developed the mechanical design. In the last part of thesis the device was undergone a series of tests.

Academic year : 2012 Aim : Thesis accentuates the role of the physiotherapist, as part of a team of experts in the care of patients with rheumatoid arthritis, as well as the importance of a comprehensive rehab therapy and possible use of physiotherapy procedures. Part of the thesis is a detailed case report of a patient with rheumatoid arthritis and the condition after total hip arthroplasty for traumatic fracture. Methodics Thesis is divided into general and special parts. The general part is divided in the issue of rheumatology, orthopedics and traumatology, describes the problems of disease and types of surgical procedures. The following section describes the physiotherapy sessions for patients suffering from rheumatic diseases and also after total hip arthroplasty. Special part, case report describes a patient with a diagnosis of rheumatoid arthritis and the condition after total hip arthroplasty for traumatic fracture. Ground Heat Exchangers - Operating States and their Influence on Microbiological Hazards

This thesis deals with the Air to Ground Heat Exchangers (AGHEx) and their effects on the hygienic quality of the supplied air and the microbial microclimate in the interior of buildings. The theoretical part focuses on current findings and knowledge in the field of warm air heating, ventilation of the low-energy and energy passive houses and ground heat exchanger for the ventilation systems to family houses. The next chapter deals with the quality of the indoor environment and the influence on HVAC systems on the building microclimate. The experimental part of the thesis presents the results of energy simulations of operation of air to ground heat exchanger, obtained using the simplified model, and the data from long-term monitoring of experimental AGHEx built at FME BUT. Furthermore, the results of microbiological research of several already operating air to ground heat exchangers are evaluated. The research was carried out using two different sampling methods: the method using swabs taken from the pipe wall, and the sedimentation (gravimetric) method. The conclusion part mentions the practical experiences of users and knowledge of the author relating to the design, operation and use of air to ground heat exchangers.

Analysis of the performance review of the territorial self-governing unit

The thesis is focused on the problematic of reviewing the territorial self-governing unit in the Czech Republic. The goal is to compare the approach of the audit firm and approach of a regional office to perform the examination of the TSU. The first chapter defines the general characteristics of the public sector. The second focuses on a specific area of public administration, which represents local government. The third chapter describes the rules and obligations that are related to the budget management of TSU. The fifth chapter, which summarizes the specifics of the accounting and reporting of selected entities. Chapter five is still theoretical definition of audit in the public administration and distinguishes notions of audit and economic review of the TSU. The last part practically compares the prerequisites required for the implementation of the performance review, individual activities conducted under review, the result of these activities, which is the so-called report on the outcome of the examination of the TSU and summarizes the differences. Conclusion of the work shows that it is not important who provides an economic review, but how and especially in what quality is the review carried out.
