The role of Canidae in the environmental dissemination of human pathogenic Cryptosporidium spp.
HAVRDOVÁ, Dita
Parasites from the genus Cryptosporidium infects domestic, farm, and wild animals and human. They are cause of cryptosporidiosis, which poses a major health risk of immunodeficiency patients. Currently, many companion animals live in close contact to humans. For this reason, it is necessary to monitor occurrence of the Cryptosporidium spp. in pets. This thesis is focused on the Cryptosporidium in dogs.
Extra Sensory Perception as an information channel
Bečev, Ondřej ; Pstružina, Karel (advisor) ; Havel, Ivan (referee)
The presented thesis deals with examing of telepathy, "extrasensory perception" and anomalous cognition phenomenons. In the first part of the thesis, theoretical background of problem is presented, particularly in historical, terminological and metodological sense. This part involves viewing of this discipline from "classic science" perspective and also deals with confrontation with contemporary scientific (especially physical) paradigms. Evaluation of cognitive and information theory aspects of "extra sensory communication" and related criticism of current terminology and paradigm are also included in this part. Second part of thesis is devoted to my experiment conducted on VŠE as a practical part of my thesis. The experiment was a replication of Multimodal Ganzfeld Experiment (Pütz et al., 2007) aimed to revalidate it's results and extend our knowledge about this anomalous phenomena. Experimental method, comparable works and design of my variant of experiment are presented here, as well as validating methodology and results. As a part of conclusion, results' interpretation, possible criticism and also discussion about alternative interpretations are provided. Third part of a work shortly presents AutoGanzfeld WebApp software, deisgned, implemented and used for purpose of data collection in my experiment. Keywords: telepathy, ESP, psi, extrasensory perception, ganzfeld, anomalous cognition, communication, information

VICKOVÁ, Pavlína
The influence of dog education on their behaviour in maturity was described and documented in this diploma thesis. The dog handling and relationship to other members of family and to other dogs were studied. Questionnaire investigation was made in the area of Trhové Sviny town. Nutritive value determination of granular feed mixtures for dogs
VOMELOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of the diploma paper was to consider a nutritive value of the maintenance granular feed mixtures for adult dogs. The nutritive value was determined in the five complete maintenance dog foods. The dog foods were chosen from different classes of quality. The consideration was made especially on the basis of following indicators: moisture content, determination of nitrogen substances, fat, sugars, fibre, ash, calcium, phosphorus and protein digestibility. There was also determined digestibility and palatability in one of these dog foods. This diploma paper was solved in conjunction with the company Dibaq a.s.
Analýza poly[methyl(phenyl)silylene] degradovaného elektronovým svazkem
Horák, Petr ; Schauer, Petr
Polysilanes (PSi) are a broad class of organic materials whose basic building block is a chain built up of silicon. The susceptibility to material degradation is a characteristic property of PSi. PSi are degradable for example by ultraviolet radiation or by electron beam. The degradation of the material decreases intensity of luminescence. Poly[methyl(phenyl)silylene] (PMPSi) was selected as a typical representative of PSi.

ERP Systems For the Tertiary Sector of Economy - PSA
Hájek, Martin ; Mildeová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Benešovský, Martin (referee)
The main goal of this thesis is to introduce philosophy of PSA (Professional Services Automation) solutions, their benefits, structure and possible future and to describe, why and how were PSA systems developed. Inasmuch as PSA systems originally evolved from ERP systems and their current progress is very similar to the late progress of ERPs, I decided to focus my analyses on ERP systems and to use the relevant conclusions on PSA solutions. The opening chapter of the thesis (chapter 3) introduces and describes philosophy and history of ERP systems, chapter 4 then describes PSA solutions. The fifth part is addressed to the current ERP market, from which a picture of future PSA market can be derived. Practical part 6, which I consider as the primary contribution of this thesis, analyzes some dimensions of PSA in the light of future evolution of this kind of solution. It also defines some factors, that may help to increase positive effects of PSA solutions to service-oriented companies. The thesis is then closed with an example of a real PSA implementation on an engineering company (chapter 7).
