This bachelor´s thesis aims to evaluate the financial situation of the company TRANZA a.s. The main attention is paid to elementary methods. All the data used for financial analysis are drawn from the provided firm´s documentation. The elaborated analysis is focussed on detection of imperfections and resources in company´s financial, on theirs basis is created proposals for the improvement of company´s financial positions.

Thesis deal with adding of features to already created Web-based lecture browser, which was elaborated by Ing. Josef Žižka as a dissertation. The first part is adjustment of utility for slides detection and extraction with the claim on the highest possible automation to add new videos into the system. The second part deals with creating plugins for JW player which plays video lectures.

Honey-Pot: System for Attack Detection

This thesis deals with the area of honeypots and honeynets. It defines their classification and contains detailed descriptions of their properties and features. It further elaborates on several freely available systems. The main focus is given to honeypot Nepethes that was being run for one month on an unfiltered Internet connection. A detailed analysis of the collected data is then given.

Automatic detection of neural fibers losses

This work is focused on detection of loss in nerve fibre layer on colour pictures of retina, witch are makes by fundus camera. It describe every simple objects of retina, optic nerve head, macula lutea and vascular bed. It detect optic nerve head and his near area, witch is general for detection of breakdownds. It use several metodes of picture adjusting for picture elaboration and objects detection (segmentation, thresholding, enhancement, hough transformation ). The detection of loss in nerve fibre layer is based on comparing of statistic parameters ( average, standart deviation, skewness coefficient and kurtosis coefficient histogram, entropy ) in choosed areas with and withou destruction of nerve layers. Vascular bed have badwatsh on results, cause of this we using hand choosing of essay.

Determination of ergosterol content in brewing materials

Presented bachelor’s thesis is focused on determination of ergosterol content in barley and malt. In theoretical part the presence of ergosterol in barley and malt has been elaborated, the purposes of its determination, detailed overview of previously applied methods of extraction from samples of barley and malt as well as other biological materials and methods of quantification. Practical part is focused on optimizing of extraction and determination of ergosterol by high performance liquid chromatography with diode array detection (HPLC – DAD).

Comparison of PCR methods suitable for identifikation of yeasts in foodstuffs.

This bachelor´s thesis deals with identification of yeasts by PCR method in foods. It includes basic information about yeast´s cell. There are elaborated molecular methods of yeast identification. Yeasts are crucial agents in many important natural and industrial bioprocesses as well as in spoilage of foods. Classical methods include morphological and biochemical tests, which are time consuming. The rapid detection and identification of yeasts is necessary for assessment of their beneficial and harmful roles in the production and spoilage of foods.
