The Lisbon Strategy and Europe 2020:Where is the information society?
Connelly, Philip ; Soukup, Petr (advisor) ; Lupač, Petr (referee)
In the period 2005-2010 the Czech Republic has exhibited a growth in computer and Internet usage across society. As is to be expected from the literature, younger generations, especially what has been termed Generation Z, show significantly higher levels of computer literacy than older generations. Computer literacy is also at the highest level among the most highly educated and among households with children. Government policies to increase computer literacy have had positive effects, however they have only been a partial success. All schoolchildren have access to computers and the Internet, however there have been no effective policies for increasing computer literacy among the adult population. The result of this lack of policy is that the Czech Republic, in a position common to much of Europe, failed to meet the challenges of the Lisbon Strategy and will likely fail to meet the targets of Europe 2020.

Maierová, Martina ; Bittnerová, Dana (advisor) ; Levínská, Markéta (referee)
The purpose of my thesis is to present the structuring of time of eight Gypsy children aged 11 to 17, living or spending free time at prague's suburb Velká Ohrada. The central goal of this thesis is to identify the Gypsy's child structure of the day and to find out which points of a child's day are defined as crucial by child and by parents and to which event of a day these points refer to. The text is divided into theoretical and empirical part. Theoretical part focuses on pointing out the main aspects of the topic of time. First part also tackles the issue of conceptualization of time as a category itself and as a category, which structures the reality. Question of time is analysed in the context of sociology and psychology. The literature related to the structuring of time of Gypsies is also reflected in the theoretical part of the thesis. The discourse is conducted from a historical perspective and notes that the perception of time was affected by several significant milestones. Empirical part, in addition to the description of objectives, methods, research sample and environment pays particular attention to analysis of its own data of quality- oriented research - the view of Gypsy childern and their parents on how they spend different types of days (e.g. weekday, weekend day, holiday day)....

The second method was a survey ascertaining subjective feelings regaurding the intensity of the fitness program. Results: We found that our own compiled training program was successful in all areas of tested physical abilities. Strength capability was most likely influenced by: the conditioning program (32%), coordinating-speed capability (8%), power-endurance capability (48%), speed-endurance capability (8%), and speed capability (5%). From the feedback of the questionnaire survey, we found that the fitness program was demanding, but manageable. Keywords: children and youth, sports training, fitness training, tennis

Verešová, Anna ; Flemrová, Miroslava (advisor) ; Prajerová, Květa (referee)
Title: Impact of Motion Activities to Changes in the Curvature of Spine in Pregnancy Objectives: The goal was to verify the effects of selected motion, action to change the curvature of the spine and pelvic tilt which arise during pregnancy. Methods: The study used a method "1 level", "1 factor" experiment. The research, which took place between October 2009 and December 2009, included a group of ten selected women who were pregnant for the 1st time, aged 27-28 years, in the II. trimester of pregnancy Results: Changes in curvature of the cervical and lumbar lordosis in women who were exercising were very small, compared to the not exercising women. One client, who did the exercises, even improved the value, which I ascribe to the strengthening of the muscle corset and the use of appropriate movement activities that help to compensate the changes. Pelvic inclination values have changed minimally. The changes in the spine curvature and the pelvic tilt were more distinct in the women who did not exercise. Key words: Pregnancy, Physical Activity, Cervical Lordosis, Lumbar Lordosis, Pelvic Tilt.

The Specific of Nursing Care in Patient with hypothyreosis
FRÝZOVÁ, Kristýna
This bachelor thesis is focused on the specifics of the nursing care of patients with hypothyroidism. Hypothyroidism is a disease of the thyroid gland, which is characterized by its reduced function, and its consequence is an insufficient supply of the thyroid hormones to the human body. The most common cause tends to be of the autoimmune nature which is when an organism creates antidotes against its structure thyroid. Here arises chronic inflammation which violates the gland. Thyroid disorder can also arise because of long term iodine deficiency. But it doesn't occur in our society due to the iodation of salt in the fifties of the last century. Hypothyroidism caused by the lack of iodine can be found in the mountainous areas of third world countries where there is low iodine content in the soil. Literature talks about the growing incidence of disease amongst the population, it can be misinterpreted by many factors such as the aging population, growth of autoimmune diseases, diagnostic procedures improvement and by the targeted search for disease. In our population postnatal hypothyroidism is more common. Its incidence grows with age and affects mainly women, men are affected considerably less. High-risk groups of population are pregnant and breastfeeding women, and also children and adolescents. The only source of iodine for the fetus during intrauterine development, newborns, and infants is their mother. The Mother's lack of iodine can cause serious malfunction in the child's brain development. Congenital disorders of thyroid gland are rare nowadays. There is no doubt that improving and increasing demands on nursing care are closely related to these facts.
