Global Economy Outlook - April 2016

The April issue of Global Economic Outlook presents the regular monthly overview of recent and expected developments in selected territories, focusing on key economic variables: inflation, GDP growth, leading indicators, interest rates, exchange r ates and commodity prices. In this issue we also look at how global inventory levels affect commodity prices, focusing, among other things, on fundamental factors (production, consumption and inventories), which should be the main drivers of both current a nd future commodity prices. Using simple statistics, we then deduce the effect of these fundamentals, as well as other possible factors, on the prices of individual commodities.

The editor is going to be an AGE project add-in. Because the AGE project is by the time of writing this thesis still in development its first version should be implemented as well as a part of this thesis. The 3D editor add-in should support creation of simple 3D primitives, manipulation with vertices, faces and mesh parts and also should contain basic tools for texture mapping. The Microsoft .NET Framework will be used as a target platform and all graphics content will be rendered using the Windows Presentation Foundation and DirectX technologies. The theoretical part contains the fundamental information about this disease, prevention and medical procedures. The inseparable part of this diploma work forms also the Questionnaire, reflecting the knowledge of women regarding the cancer of the uterine uvula. The overall results are processed in graphical and also word style.

The operating system fundamental navigators UI Specification for 60 years older users

The Bachelor thesiss goal is to create UI specification of an operating system which is serving for people with reduced ability to adapt. Its based on analyzes of todays operating systems. It has motivation, definition of goal, personification, UseCase, script, logic and graphic design.
The first part contains introduction into theoretical problems needed to create UI specification. Next is explanation of what is the operating system and a comparison of operating systems nowaydays (the background information for building this specification is made by their pros and cons )
The second part is focused on UI specification, which is already made, containing motivation, definition of goal, personification, UseCase, script, logical and graphic draft.
In the third part of the work there is a questionnaire with a goal to find out an interest of potencial users, who would have use this operating system every day and their suggestions, what should be changed.

Financial Analysis of Nike Inc.

This diploma thesis examines the topic "Financial Analysis of Nike, Inc.".
The goal of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate financial situation of one of the best sports brands, multinational company Nike, Inc.
The thesis is divided into two parts. Firstly, the theoretical section introduces and defines basic terms about financial analysis and its objectives as well as explanation of horizontal and vertical analysis. Afterwards, fundamental and technical analyses are explained.
The second, practical section evaluates results based on fundamental and technical analysis, gain by data mining method. Graphics and diagrams are used to visualize and demonstrate changes in main activities of financial statements. The aim of this section is firstly to evaluate strengths and weaknesses of company and if it is reasonable to invest in its stocks.

Animated Skybox Using OpenGL

The Bachelor's diploma thesis addresses the operation of generating an animated skybox. The thesis was intended to demonstrate the methods, especially the procedural methods, for generating skybox applications. The main deal of the paper is devoted to an analysis of fundamental techniques for rendering particular components within a skybox application. The utmost focus is put on processes of generating colour gradients, noise functions and ways of applying thereof. Concluding part comprises an analysis of study trials to investigate different graphics content generating settings, and implementation details.

Realistic Figure Modelling

This document discusses making of masters thesis, which is devoted to modeling of realistic human character. The goal of this thesis is to introduce process of making a 3D realistic character. It contains quick review of todays computer graphic industry, theoretical preparation for making this character and a review of few different modeling techniques. Mesh Flow theory is explained in detail, which is fundamental for todays organic modelling. In process of making character, all acquired knowledge will be used. In stages all theoretical and practical processes of mapping, texturing and skinning will be explained. Demonstration of how junction of different applications may achieve greater speed, effectiveness and quality during process of making model and textures will be presented. Last chapter of this thesis is devoted to programming an application to display character in OpenGL.

Demonstration of State Space Search Methods

This bachelor's thesis describes the issue of state space search methods. Thesis was focused namely on the practical part. Its main goal was to create a demonstration application which should serve as an additional help for Fundamentals of Artificial Intelligence course. The resulting application satisfies this requirement thanks to an easy control, a possibility of steping through the alghoritm and an attractive graphic layout. The application is also implemented as a java applet, so its start should be possible from anywhere.

Mam-Machina-Systems and their Reliability

The point of this work is to describe and analyse human and technical reliability inside a man-vehicle system. The reliability of whole system is given by partial reliabilities of technical sub-systems and reliability of a man like a human operator. Human operator influences security and reliability of whole system by his activity and servicing of equipment. It is necessary to monitor and evaluate this activity in the analysis of security of technical systems. By the evaluation of human reliability people come out of the whole probability analysis of security. Inside the man-vehicle system the vehicle is operated by the driver and therefore influence of human operator is totally fundamental for the total reliability of this system. Graphic fault tree model shows different combinations of equipment failures and people failures which can lead to the accident.

This thesis deals with the possibilities of electronic stock trading of currency pairs. It analyzes the basic conditions and criteria which trader needs to meet to be able to participate on this market. This master’s thesis describes the use of technical indicators and fundamental messages through electronic trading platforms. Further thesis graphically compares the types of trading according to the time horizonts and then concludes suggestions and recommendations.
