Children's Spontaneous Play and its Stages of Development
KOŠKOVÁ, Petra
Bachelor thesis draws attention to the transformation of children's spontaneous games of the changing society and the demand for the children. The theoretical part is focused on basic features, specifications and types of games. It deals with the concept of free game and toy, as an instrument of free games. Defines the term "childhood" in the context of the risks that are currently on this period of life associated. Practical research includes qualitative changes in spontaneous games existing children, their parents and grandparents.

Creating 3D models supporting Modern computer graphics course
Silber, Marek ; Frenštátský, Petr (referee) ; Rajmic, Pavel (advisor)
This thesis is divided into two parts, where the first part is focused on an overview and work with 3D software at Czech universities, it includes a comparison of the different programs and description of history of Blender programme which was the one chosen as support for teaching the Modern computer graphics course. The second part of the thesis is more focused on practical matters and describes the basic workings of the programme from the first start up, orientation in the different sections and the settings of the work space for the work itself. The thesis details basic transformation commands of change of location, rotation and change of scale of objects and editing commands like copying, deleting, hiding and duplication of individual objects including their theoretical descriptions. Work with lightings continues after the transformation commands including practical examples of different types of lighting. Work with materials and textures is described in the last two chapters. The goal of this thesis is to describe how to work with the Blender programme and basic work with objects and assigning individual materials and textures for objects and the lighting in a scene for people unfamiliar with the programme.

Living Europe: the alien impressions of Henry James and Lambert Strether
Manire, Damian Peter ; Roraback, Erik Sherman (referee) ; Procházka, Martin (advisor)
Lambert Strether's position in The Ambassadors is, in my view, a metafictional allegory for James's techniques of authorial perspective. As Donald Stone notes, "It was James's contribution to fiction that [...] he not only codified the subjective nature of the novelist, but transformed the hero of fiction into a limited [...] observer."170 James effectively expresses his authorial consciousness in a novel that courts a more complicated delegation of positional plays between reader, author, and subject. Thus, I disagree with William Stowe's assertion that The Ambassadors' theme of "how life can and ought to be lived" presents problems for which neither the novel's subject nor author "has a solution, problems that challenge the reader to [sic] reexamine the very valuation of European experience which the texts seems also to be promoting."171 Considering James's formal virtuosity, it becomes clear that James has more to express to the reader than the "valuation of European experience."172 Indeed, I hope it has been made clear over these last pages that "the solution" for how "to live" is fixed in Jamesian aestheticism. James broadcasts a double perspective that simultaneously engages the aesthetic along the social fissures of modernity, producing "masterpieces of presentational technique"173 to cite Malcolm...

Wind pressures on envelope surfaces of the building Waste to Energy Plant - LEEDS

The aim is the determination of wind-induced pressures required for the design of components of envelope of the object using methods of a physical scale modeling in the Climatic wind Engineering Laboratory of the Centre of Excellence Telč for project of the building Waste to Energy Plant - Leeds.

Cultural and sociological aspects of the transformation of football spectatorship in the Czech Republic
Kasal, Josef ; Mucha, Ivan (advisor) ; Kučírek, Jiří (referee)
Spectator violence commited during football matches is felt very inconsistently in the world. There are particularities of football violence in every country and each of them solves this problem in a different way, in its cultural and traditional context although the principle is the same - the elimination of dangerous fan groups. Game, sport, football and the spectatorship have deep fundamentals in cultural and social rootage of human existence. Any play is natural part of life. The Football violence is social adverse behaviour and current science wants to solve its causes. Our opinion is that the violence factors in football inhere in context of social life. The Czech republic has gone trough different political development than the West countries since the end of the World War II.. These differencies have impact on football violence as well. In connexion with globalization effects the Czech football violence has the basic features like other countries where football is popular.

D. C. Dennett's Approach: on the way to explanation of consciousness
Vraný, Martin ; Peregrin, Jaroslav (advisor) ; Palkoska, Jan (referee)
l'vEnd-Body problem has been a perpetual philosophical issue ever since the dawn of science, and the discussion of Descartes's dualism was the paradigmatic showroom of post:lible solutions for a long time. It wasn't perhaps until the mid-20th century that the debate underwent a considerable conceptual transformation thanks to two impctllses from science: the boom in brainscanning experiments and the boom in computing devices and informatics. The former provided philosophers and scientists with abundance of evidence of correlations between brain activity and mental states. The latter showed how higher mental activities, like pattern recognition Ol' playing chess, could be performed by fast computing machines running a relatively simple programme. Besides these two, there is another important source ať infiuence (only as far as the methodology is concerned) behaviourism. Despite its decline in 1960s marked by renewed interest in the study of mind, theorists were reluctant to rehabilitate the concept of consciousness.

Rezonanční frekvence generátorů syntetizovaných proudů
Kordík, Jozef ; Trávníček, Zdeněk ; Šafařík, P.
This contribution focuses on axisymmetric synthetic jet actuators from the theoretical point of view. In order to evaluate their resonance frequencies, four mathematical models were derived. The results were compared with experimental data, and analyzed. With respect to the theoretical and experimental results, the applicability and limits of the models were discussed. The results illustratively prove correctness of the previous derivation based on transformation of mechanical energy.

Belief in Capital
Sirotek, Jan ; Hogenová, Anna (advisor) ; Blažková, Miloslava (referee)
The work describes phenomenons and thoughts which led and oftentimes still lead to a birth, a forming and a stabilization of market capitalism as a main philosophy of present world in the course of history as well as nowadays. The Analysis focuses on phenomenons of both material and spiritual characters. It exposes a spirit which accompanies man from everlasting. Through guise of God, man, the rabble, a state, a nation and a work is it being transformated into capital as self purpose. The science and its methodology caused this certainty seeking turnabout from transcendent thoughts to rational classification of matter. Due to its own discovery that matter is only a kind of energy confesses the science to its religious substance. A pursuit of profit resulting as well in life in affluence becomes then the main point of entire efforts of saturation.

Modeling of hydraulic drives by means of contemporary simulation systems
Štefánek, Tomáš ; Křupka, Ivan (referee) ; Nevrlý, Josef (advisor)
This bachelor thesis deals with modeling of hydraulic gears by the help of simulation systems such as DYNAST and MATLAB. The main part of the thesis includes a view of various modifications of hydraulic gears with description. Hydraulic gears, changing of geometrical content and energy transformation in hydrodynamic gear by the help of Euler equation are solving in the next part. Thesis is an expertise review.
