Trade unions and collective bargaining
Pavlíková, Gabriela ; Brožová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Mikuláštík, Robert (referee)
Trade union movement is a part of modern society; it has participated in its forming and still has considerable influence. Trade unions have gone through difficult development and their membership has been diminishing lately, what can be explained especially by demographical influences, restructuralization of industry and growing tendency of population to solve important problems by themselves. Unions are respected partner in the process of collective bargaining and how the findings from the union contracts and the information sent by the trade unionists show, they are very powerful players in many areas. Although the information about modern bargaining models hasn't been recognized yet, trade unionists act pragmatically, target especially the question of wages and other benefits and rely upon the bargaining abilities of their leaders. Trade unions offer a great level of protection to all their members and other employees, but their activities have significant negative effects. They monopolize the work supply and hence cause rigidity of wages and structural unemployment, they support privileged groups of workers and these compelled benefits then reflect in the prices of products and services. Its activities thus inhibit efficient allocation of workforce and induce significant social consequences. Faced with international competition, Europe has to make an important decision about the level of sociability in the market system, what can be in near future influenced by deeper understanding of the necessity of changes. To that can contribute information from economic background and in longer horizon probably also the new generation with looser approach to solidarity.

The second chapter deals with negative and positive influence of media on children and the youth. The end of this theoretical part is created by a chapter which deals with the importance of media education at school and in the family. It bears specific suggestions and methods of their implementation. The practical part contains research results. This research was carried out in the fifth{\crq}s classes at primary schools. The Abstract My dissertation is dedicated to a characteristic of pupils of primary school age from the point of developmental psychology and mutual relation of this age group and the reading in its teoretical part. The importan part of dissertation are the chapters which are aimed to well- marked personality of our literature Mrs. Iva Procházková. There is a more detailed characteristic of three chosen tituls - Pět minut před večeří, Středa nám chutná, Únos domů in teoretical part. And this part looks into mutual relation between dramatic education and literature. The target of my research is to prove the suitability of chosen chapters for the work in dramatic education. There are analysis of these literature patterns from education's view in the practical part. These titules are made as the projects of teaching lessons.

Bcl-2 proteins and their role in outer mitochondrial membrane during apoptosis
Markupová, Lucie ; Novotný, Jiří (referee) ; Švandová, Ivana (advisor)
Apoptosis is a form of programmed cell death. It is physiological mechanism mediating catabolism of eucaryotic cells and is characterised by specific morphological and biochemical processes. It targets and destroys cells directly and afterwards eliminates cell without any demage to other nearby cells. Contrary of the apoptosis, necrosis affects more or less any random cell. Apoptosis is strictly organized and controlled process. A critical control point in apoptosis constitute proteins of the Bcl-2 family. These protein are able to adjust permeability of external (outer) mitochondrial membrane (OMM) which is an important step ahead of the whole process. Bcl-2 family proteins are usually divided into three groups. Two groups are pro-apoptotic and one group is anti-apoptotic. Pro-apoptotic Bcl-2 proteins are generally increasing permeability of outer mitochondrial membrane which leads to the release of cytochrome c and other proteins (SMAC/Diablo) from mitochondria. When cytochrome c is released frm mitochondria, it activates the assembly of the apoptosome in the cytosol that activated executive caspase. On the other hand, anti-apoptotic proteins deactivate pro-apoptotic proteins and regulate their function.

Using Stratego/XT for Generation of Software Connectors
Malohlava, Michal
Software connectors are used in component based systems as a special entities modeling and realizing component interactions. Besides this behavior, connectors can provide extra functionality and benefits (e.g. logging, adaptation, monitoring). This approach requires generation of connector code with respect to requirements of components, a target environment and features specified at the design stage. In this thesis we show how to extend the existing connector generator [33] by the Stratego/XT transformation engine, which includes a language for implementing program transformations and a collection of transformation tools. We use the toolset to realize a simple method of defining connector implementation, which is use as a template for a process of generation source code.

A letter of credit contract and a collection contract
Wagnerová, Markéta ; Liška, Petr (advisor) ; Elek, Štefan (referee)
A letter of credit contract and a collection contract This final thesis is focused on two important payment instruments - the letter of credit and the collection. The aim of this thesis is to analyze the letter of credit and the collection. Its main target is to describe both payment instruments and to introduce their use in real life situations and to point out advantages and disadvantages of both instruments. Both domestic and international legal arrangements as well as expert literature and articles were used to write the thesis. As a main source was used Commercial Code and unification of trade customs by the International Chamber of Commerce. The thesis is divided in 5 chapters which furthermore divide themselves into several more subchapters. Because of the fact that contract on the letter of credit and the contract on collection are fundamental for the creation of commercial law obligation the first chapter discusses the general characteristics of commercial obligations from the point of view of the Civil Code and from the point of view of the Commercial Code. Furthermore the letter of credit and the collection are one of the many of bank contracts and these are explained in detail in the second chapter. The bank itself is a party to such contracts and that is why a lot of attention is paid in the...
