Autodestructive behavior in childhood and adolescency

The theme of my work is self-destructive behavior in children and adolescents. Fascinating and frightening manifestation of human aggression, the object its violence is an individual himself. It is a phenomenon with a wide expressions that can be found both in different categories of mental disorders, as well as in the form of socially tolerated. Sometimes it is difficult to find the boundary between autodestruktivním pathological behavior and the fact that the cultural and religious character. This work focuses on abnormal manifestations autodestruktivního behavior. There are a number of approaches, which is we can seize. Some take into account the motivation level of other physical damage or method of execution. The autodestruktivitu can also be seen positions from different disciplines. Not only psychiatry, but also philosophy, sociology and especially psychology provides us with tools for deeper understanding.

Maya Calendar

This bachelor's thesis deals with knowledge that we have nowadays about the Maya calendar system in pre-conquest time. Furthermore, themes of Maya astronomy and the 2012 phenomenon are mentioned. This text is focused on the Maya concept of time and the Maya numeral system. Great attention is given to the basic parts of which the Maya calendar consisted - solar and sacral year, which constitute a Calendar Round, and the Long Count. This thesis is also concerned with the Maya concept of astronomy and three celestial bodies, which were very important in the Maya astronomy - the Sun, the Moon and Venus. Last chapter of this thesis concentrates on the source of the 2012 phenomenon and the opinions on this issue. Keywords Maya calendar, Maya astronomy, the 2012 phenomenon.

This diploma thesis focuses on communication phenomenon of social networks and particular attention devotes to community portal Facebook. Facebook is considered to be a new cultural environment which is perceived by its members as an important part of their life. The thesis discloses principles of Facebook's funcionality and dissects the theme of security and privacy. Theoretical base is supplemented with internet marketing, or marketing in social net surrounding, definition. Social media marketing is the main content of second, practical part of the thesis. It brings detailed information about this new kind of marketing and above all it clears up the principles of successful marketing announcement in the field of social net. The thesis includes with case studies as well, which transfers whole theoretical base into practice.

8 THE FOOD DESERTS ISSUE - THE CASE STUDY OF ZLÍN ABSTRACT This thesis attempts to provide an introduction to the 'food deserts' theme by outlining how the problem of access to food for households has become an increasingly important issue in the transforming Czech retail market. The first part reviews the development of new types of retail space in the Czech Republic in the past two decades. The emphasis is principally on the growth of new formats of food retailing - supermarkets, hypermarkets and discount stores - which to a greater or lesser extent have affected every local market and supported spatial restructuring of the Czech retailing. On the other hand, it has also changed the pattern of traditional shopping facilities, which in turn have often experienced decline. The second part of this work describes the retail change in Zlín and analyses the local distribution of food retail stores. It takes both quantitative and qualitative approach to define areas with relatively poor access to adequate food provision. There, it particularly focuses on consumers with lower mobility who are thus more restricted in their grocery choice. Necrogeographical Research of Czechia: Basic Character and Spatial Differentiation of Necrogeographical Aspects in Czechia with Emphasis on their Relation to Religion

Martina Hupková - Nekrogeografický výzkum Česka ABSTRACT: Diploma thesis is concerned with theme of death, which has been left out by Czech geography till now. There is a tendency to make theme of death taboo in Czech society, nevertheless a manner of treatment with death is a sign of cultural maturity and is changing in space and time. Necrogeographical aspects - a manner of treatment with death and forms of cemeteries reflect a culture in different regional divisions (state, region, locality). Thesis is engaged in discussion about possibilities of necrogeographical research in Czechia and the investigative part of thesis is engaged in necrogeographical analysis. Interfacial areas between religion and a way of burying are searched for in thesis because of presumed influence of religion on a manner of treatment with death. Dependence of a way of burying on religion is evaluated on level of world's nations and micro-regions of Czechia. Spatial differentiation of necrogeographical aspects within Czechia is analyzed via field surveys of model regions. Cemeteries are considered from two points of view - as objects in space and as a culture reflecting phenomenons. The study is engaged in dilemmas of help line such as social work and crisis help specilly for seniors. The main part of the study is involved a acquaintance with basic terminology that is involved a senior time of life. The study is also conserned to subject of crisis, crisis intervention and finally described phenomenon of help lines. The practical part contains statistic data and commentaries on social nonstop helpline named Senior telephone Life 90, case of reports of user this help line and three obligatory themes that are occuring on this help line.

This diploma thesis is due to its theme within the reach of two scientific branches mathematics and geography. Particularly, it deals with possibilities of unusual application of dynamic geometry during lessons of geography in elementary schools. From the theoretical point of view, the thesis is grounded in the crucial document for czech schooling Framework Education Programme for Elementary Education. The theoretical part of the thesis is followed by practical part, whose content is influenced by analysis of Geography as an educational area, which can be found in this very document. The particular contents of the practical part consist applets describing selected geographic phenomenons and problems.

The Puppet as a Created Artifact in the Context of Good and Evil

My thesis is divided into 3 parts - theoretical, educational and practical part and author part. In theoretical section I am looking at the puppet as a methaphor and opportunity of (her) life (wake up the puppet). I am trying to find possibilities us to how the puppet can turn into a live person or wake up. I am looking at the problem of good and evil through a different point of view. The phenomenon of good and evil is reflecting into the educational and author part. At International School of Prague I did a puppet lesson with the theme of "Good and Evil". Students first created two puppets and then teamed up with a partner to write a fairytale script that went along with the puppets. In author section I am expressing the fenomen of good and evil. In doing this I used makeup as a tool. I painted my face in both good and evil ways and was photographed. I also went on the make masks and puppets of my own. During this process I documented my learning through written text, photography, and made a video in the form of a DVD.
