Combined traffic, operators in the Czech Republic

Work is focused on intermodal transport in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains information about intermodal loading units and various means of transport used for intermodal transport. The second part, practical, characterizes the types of combined transport used in the Czech Republic, frequency of use, combined transport operators and terminals, used for transhipment from road to rail.The text also describes the current trend, along with finance options offered by grants.

Shanghai versus Hong Kong: Global economic and transport competition Abstract The main objective of the work is to compare global position of two chinese cities Shanghai and Hong Kong. The first part compares financial position of the cities, which comes out from the historical background of the cities and actual economic situation. The global transport competition in ship and air transport is compared in the second part of the work. Final analysis summarises the results and comes out with the statement of stronger city. The ways and means of operating risks innovative business in the sphere of engineering

Operating the risks, which work upon business, is the fundamental prerequisite for successful trade. This work is focus on the risks of company Trojan, which was extendable, its activity to other sphere of business in the year 2007. This innovative company is today focus on: - engineering manufacturing, - pulverized varnishing, - surface treatment with sand blasting, - national and international transport. This work describes stages of new activities beginning, which causes that the ways of risks occurring on company have been rising up. For example break-down technology or technological process break. Company activities have a lot of common hazard factors. These are separating up in the sphere of business: do business with customers, buying, production and rendition of services, corporation finance, competition, employees, legislature and occasional risks. In each section there are hazard factors and its influence on company is clear in consequence up. For this hazard factors are propound eliminating precautions. To ensure influence and negative fall for company, it has been working up analysis, which shows the fundamental factors. The result of analysis, finding out, that all the hazard factors are nearly connected in spite of its' describing in other ways. Proposal for improving, which are describing in each section could eliminate some hazards.

The suggestion of educational trail around Třešť

The aim of this bachelor's thesis was to create a draft of educational trail. The central issues are the remains of this local mining activities, which were and are almost forgotten. The sense of create this draft of two educational trails was to remind visitors that this region has mining history, which was overshadowed by mining city of Jihlava, and also to provide them diverse experiences. In this thesis is described the history of region which the educational trails dealing with. The first of educational trails is a circuit which provides the visitors information about various kinds of mines and ore treatment. This circuit is physically less demanding and is therefore suitable also for smaller visitors. The second educational trail offers a lot of experience but it is also more demanding, this trail provides the information about mining water works. The processing of this trail is original and modern, with GPS navigation visitors passes the recommended stops. Visitors choose the route to these stops completely alone. In the GPS navigations are also the information about stops so we don't disturb the landscape with the building of information boards. The both of educational trails contain also stops dealing with living nature which is very preserved and protected in this part of Vysočina. Transport accessibility to the initial stops the both of educational trails is good due to that the initial stop of the circuit is in Jezdovice where the connection is done by trains or buses. In this place is also area suitable for parking cars. The initial stop of the second educational trail is near Lovětín where can the visitors come by car or by bus. This suggestion of educational trail also includes elaboration of financial demands and also possibility of financing. In this thesis are also mentioned possibilities of propagation. Realization of this suggestion at the time this thesis was finalized wasn't possible because of political leadership of Jezdovice.

Prices of transport structures with a focus on road infrastructure

The aim of this work is to introduce the pricing for traffic constructions, more precisely for the road infrastructure in phase of preparation and realisation. There is a specific example of the cost estimating of a realized construction presented here. Then there is an analysis of an example focusing on the compliance with the financial limit of the planned construction. In the theoretical part of this thesis basic information about the traffic in the Czech Republic, a brief overview of the process of construction of roads, and price creation of the road structures with increased attention to cost estimating and possibilities of financing of roads are mentioned. In the last part of the work the evaluation of the work and samples of interesting facts about the current financing of transport constructions are presented.

Take-back of electrical equipment

The thesis describes and assess the functioning of the take-back of electrical equipment in Czech Republic. The take-back system is evaluated from a general perspective, it is also used my experience in employment and in society ELEKTROWIN and materials provided to me by the collective system. The theoretical part focuses on the legislative framework of take-back concept, on description of ELEKTROWIN and on financing the system. This part also deals with the main sphere of collective bargaining systems, which are gathering, manipulation, transport and information and educational activities. The application part is focused on the quantity of take-bake of electrical equipment through collective and ELEKTROWIN from the year 2005 to present in a particular years. It also work evaluates observance the requirements from EU directives. The educational activity is evaluated on the basis of a questionnaire as information campaigns to raise public awareness.

Acquisition and financing of new road transport vehicles for the company Prompt Ltd.

The diploma thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is a cost analysis of the company Prompt Ltd. It also deals with possibilities for capacity utilization. The second part presents the actual offer of utility vehicles on the Czech market. Moreover it compares road trains offered to the company according to criteria chosen by the author. The last part of the thesis deals with several options of financing, mainly with comparison of finance lease and loan.

Public transport in Tabor agglomeration

Analysis of the Public Revenues from the Road Transport and Public Expenditures on the Road Infrastructure in the Czech Republic

This thesis deals with the public financing of the road transport issue, particularly in the Czech Republic. The quantitative analysis of the revenues from the road transport and capital and maintenance costs on road transport in the Czech Republic in 2001 - 2007 is the fundamental part of this thesis. The vehicle excise tax, fuel tax, road tolls, parking policy revenues and other specific charges belong to the public revenues from the road transport. The output of the thesis is the assessment whether the public revenues from the road transport at least cover the capital and maintenance costs on the road infrastructure and the road transport is therefore a source of the revenues to public sources, or whether, on the contrary, the road transport represents the drain for the public sources and thus also for the tax payers. The evaluation of this situation while including the externalities of road transport is also part of this thesis.

This bachelor's thesis is focused on problems in the financing of a public train transport and on the financial analysis of České dráhy, a. s. The first part contains the aim of this bachelor's thesis. In the second part the basic methodology of the financial analysis is defined. Third part is focused on typical problems connected with the financing of the public train transport and on the analysis of the "financial health" of České dráhy, a. s. At the end of this bachelor's thesis the basic economic and financial indicators are compared with Austrian company ÖBB Group and Slovak company Železničná spoločnosť Slovensko, a. s.
