Lyofilizace lipozomů pro perorální aplikaci léčiv
Vacková, Michaela ; Šklubalová, Zdeňka (advisor) ; Dittrich, Milan (referee)
The protein or peptide substances are not appropriate for oral application. One of the many obstacles, is an aggressive environment of the gastrointestinal tract. One way to protect these substances is the preparation of liposomes. The aim of this work was preparation of liposomes of the different composition, choice of the optimum aqueous media, and stabilization using freeze-drying. All samples consisted of egg phosphatidylcholine(EPC) and cholesterol (Chol), with the addition of one out of the substances: cholylsarcosine (CS), stearoylamine (SA) and vitamin E (TPGS), respectively, in various ratio. Liposomes were prepared using a film method and manual extrusion through membrane with pore size 200 nm. The liposome size and polydispersity was measured by photon corellation spectroscopy. After the extrusion, the liposomes underwent freeze-drying in the presence of selected appropriate cryoprotectants: sucrose and trehalose, respectively. Stability has been established by evaluating the visual characteristics of the product (the appearance), solubility in the water and measuring of liposome size and polydispersity.

Effectivenes of cognitive-behavioural treatment applied in courses of weight reduction related to cognitive and behaviolal factors
Moravcová, Lucie ; Schneidrová, Dagmar (advisor) ; Derflerová Brázdová, Zuzana (referee) ; Fraňková, Slávka (referee) ; Müllerová, Dana (referee)
The Czech Republic is from the early 90 years, reducing rates of overweight in CBT applications, which the company operates STOB Mgr. Iva Malkova. According to available information has not been done until now no research in these courses chartedabove the influence of selected cognitive factors on changes in body weight and also to monitor the change in energy intake (behavioral factor). The aim of this study is to determine the relationship between selected cognitive factors (self-efficacy - and with respect to the general dining behavior and physical activity, self-esteem, personal causal orientation restrictive way of eating behavior) and changes in body weight. At the same time the respondents will track changes in energy intakeduring therapy. The study is to verify the reliability of the Czech version of the WELquestionnaire (Weight Efficacy Life-Style Questionnaire), PSQ (Physical Self-Efficacy Questionnaire) and extended range of restrictive behaviors related to food, based on a questionnaire TFEQ (Three Factor Eating Questionnaire).

Process optimization in horse racing
Bezděkovská, Radka ; Fiala, Petr (advisor) ; Flusserová, Lenka (referee)
This thesis is concerned with the use of some optimization methods in harness racing. In the first part of the thesis, both critical path method and critical chain method of the project management are applied to horse racing projects. Then a comparison is made in order to choose a suitable method under various conditions. As a result, we can suggest improvements in horse racing organization. In order to determine optimal number of racing days, races and other aspects within a season, an optimization model is created in the second part of the thesis. Minimization of cost or maximization of number of starts can be chosen as an objective function. Various constraints are considered.

Lotus Notes/Domino Design Elements Versioning
Kylberger, Jaroslav ; Tykal, Jaroslav (referee) ; Obdržálek, David (advisor)
Theoretical part of the thesis contains description and comparison of basic features of major version control systems from both commercial and freeware area. Beyond file oriented systems, the study also maps the situation in Lotus Notes/Domino version control systems area. Practical part of this thesis consists of the implementation of new version control system for Lotus Notes/Domino platform named DVS (Domino Versioning System).

Real-time visualization of terrain data
Šrámek, Ondřej ; Pelikán, Josef (referee) ; Maršálek, Lukáš (advisor)
The rendering of huge terrain data is an actual problem in many application areas like interactive games or virtual environments. To keep rendering interactive it was necessary to implement computationally intensive LOD techniques, because the graphical systems were incapable of rendering enough geometry to represent the whole terrain accurately. Due to the raw processing power of current systems (with respect to rasterization) which enables to render hundreds of millions of triangles per second, new methods for rendering these data emerge. They are based on observation that this is enough to render pixel-sized triangles while keeping reasonable output resolution. The aim of this work was to develop a practical implementation based on such approach. The main algorithm chosen was Geometry Clipmaps and its modi ed version was created. The solution devoloped is capable of rendering almost 300M samples terrain in the real-time with avarage 56 frames per seconds.

Ocenění podniku AGRI-M, spol. s r. o.
Oklešťková, Lenka ; Scholleová, Hana (advisor) ; Chybíková, Ivana (referee)
The aim of the diploma thesis is to determine the market value of the company AGRI-M, spol. s r.o. on the date 1.1.2009. Theoretic part of the work attend to the methodological appliance of company evaluation. Practical part applies these methods to the company. In the introduction there is an introduction of the analysed company. Then the strategic analysis follows, which consists of analysis of development of macro-environment and micro-environment. Financial analysis rates of performance of the company by using methods of absolute, ratio and global indicators. On the basis of the prognosis of the progression of the incomes a plan of income statement and also a plan of balance-sheet is put-together. In the final part the company is avaluated using two - phase discounted cash flow method in the version of FCFF. At the conclusion of the thesis there is the valuation statement.

Approaches to consolidating data base and source code base of the Techno.cz webserver
Stankay, Michal ; Gála, Libor (advisor) ; Kafka, Daniel (referee)
In this diploma thesis, I conduct a research into approaches to consolidating data base and source code base of the Techno.cz webserver, which is the subject of the consolidation. By consolidation I mean bringing the server into the state where documentation is produced according to given requirements, data base is changed in order to improve data structure and consistency and source code base is reorganised in order to unify source code upon one platform, improve file system organization and remove problematic characteristics of the source code in general. The goals of this thesis are to create and describe general process of consolidation, sequence and contents of its steps; to describe contents of consolidation in given areas: documentation, data base and source code base; to describe actual steps made to achieve the final state of the server. My approach to accomplishing these goals is the study of relevant literature and usage of my practical experience in the field of web development. My contribution to the topic is the creation of the general consolidation process that has a potential to be reused by similar projects. Another contribution may be the description of handling the risks and problems that emerged during the consolidation process. This topic may find itself as a valuable source of knowledge for fellow developers facing similar issues. The thesis is divided into eight chapters. After the introduction chapter 2 follows. Chapter 2 describes parameters of the Techno.cz webserver. Chapter 3 discusses software engineering methodologies in order to create suitable consolidation process. Chapter 4, 5, 6 discuss particular fields of consolidation: documentation, data base and source code. In chapter 7 I am trying to assess suitability of created processes and approaches for usage in future development. In the conclusion I summarize the thesis according to required structure.

Capital structure of Czech joint stock companies and its determinants
Poulová, Lucie ; Marek, Petr (advisor) ; Hrdý, Milan (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to perform an analysis of capital structure of joint stock companies based in the Czech Republic. The first part of the thesis introduces modern theories and main determinants of capital structure. Further it stakes out basic models used for testing the validity of mentioned theories and the methodology used. The second part of the thesis focuses on practical results of the analysis. The first chapter summarises descriptive analysis of the passive structure, the level of leverage, the composition of equity and liabilities of the joint stock companies. These ratios are judged mainly according to industry classification and the type of ownership. In the next step, the relationship between leverage and profitability is closely explored since it is thought to be one of the main determinants. In the last chapter, the models are applied to the sample of Czech companies with the effort to judge the validity of capital structure theories and to evaluate the effect of determinants on capital structure.
