Business Intelligence Solutions
Dzimko, Miroslav ; Achimský,, Karol (referee) ; Kříž, Jiří (advisor)
Diploma thesis presents an evaluation of the current state of the company system, identification of critical areas and areas suitable for improvement. Based on the theoretical knowledge and analysis results, commercial Business Intelligence software is designed to enhance the quality and efficiency of the company's decision-support system and the introduction of an advanced Quality Culture system. The thesis reveals critical locations in the corporate environment and opens up space to design improvements to the system.
Implementation of Smart Factory
Marek, Pavel ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Škorpil, Vladislav (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the study of concept of Internet of Things, concept of Industry 4.0 and on current conditions in smart factories. Based on these studies there was designed and implemented hardware and software adjustment for industrial machines and connection of these industrial machines to communication network. There was designed and programmed the application in the C# language. This application provides a data collection from industrial machines, provides various services for machines and humans and this application is processing and viewing necessary data. For these purposes the application is using a database system based on the SQLite. These tasks of designing and implementation are summarized to system, which is determined for smart factory implementation. This implementation is created according to Industry 4.0 concept.
MES/MOM Systems in the Industry 4.0 concept
Tichý, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This diploma thesis "MES / MOM Systems in the Industry 4.0 concept" deals with the analysis, design and implementation of these systems. The first focus is on Industry 4.0 analysis, where are describe each part of Industry 4.0. Based on this knowledge, there were specified the changes in the MES / MOM systems. According to the changes and knowledge were designed and implemented the MES / MOM concept. The system communicates with the PLC using its own communicator and represents the data in the application environment. The application implements the Historian module and system modules. The PLC has an MS SQL protocol implemented so that the device can read and write data without the need to communicate with the parent system. This implementation is in line with Industry 4.0’s concept.
Continuous/Batch production in Industry 4.0 environment
Ručka, Petr ; Jirgl, Miroslav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This master’s thesis named Continuous/batch production in environment Industry 4.0 deals with software and principles that are designed for discrete manufacturing and their application to the continuous and batch production. First, the functions and properties of individual programs for discrete manufacturing were descripted, then this acquired knowledge was related to continuous and batch production. On the basis of the gained knowledge, a program for the processing of liquid materials with using two tanks was created. This program is aimed at customizing of the final product.
Virtual manufacturing
Benešl, Tomáš ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
This thesis deals with the Industry 4.0 focusing on virtual manufacturing and its inte- gration into education. The aim of the thesis is to summarize and describe the Industry 4.0, and create necessary materials designed for teaching the virtual manufacturing. There is also a discussion on the real use of the virtual manufacturing and possible economic return for firms. Moreover, software programs for the virtual manufacturing available on the market, their options and their real use are also involved in the thesis. It also includes an application design for virtual manufacturing including laboratory tu- torials and the use of this application in education. There are also suggestions for other exercises that could move the teaching of the virtual manufacturing in the Czech Republic further.
Industry 4.0 in Czech Republic
Dvořák, Miroslav ; Lorenc, Miroslav (advisor) ; Jirsák, Petr (referee)
The thesis reviews the current situation related to the Industry 4.0 and puts it into context. In the first part of the thesis, there is an introduction to the current economic situation and the major challenges. The concept and vision of Industry 4.0 is introduced together with the world's leading initiatives and examples of Industry 4.0 technologies in manufacturing processes presented by tech leaders. The thesis also includes examples of readiness models and simulated calculation ROCE. The finding of the thesis is that, although the very concept of Industry 4.0 is not well known, digitization and automation of production continues and both are considered a necessity. Interviews with experts from the business practice in the Czech Republic introduces key opportunities and challenges arising from new technologies and when they might become the new standard.
The importance of chemical industry in the creation of jobs in the Czech Republic between 2008-2015.
Solomon, Miroslav ; Kotýnková, Magdalena (advisor) ; Prudká, Šárka (referee)
This thesis deals with the importance of chemical industry in the creation of jobs in the Czech Republic between 2008-2015. The Thesis is divided into four chapters. First chapter is devoted to general development of chemical industry, with emphasis on the labour market. Second chapter is concerned with educational institutions within chemical industry. Third chapter examines selected chemical companies and their cooperation with educational institutions. The last chapter focuses on the future of the chemical industry of the Czech Republic with an emphasis on development of the labor market due to ongoing technological changes. The analyse of comprehensive development of the chemical industry is made on the basis of historical-statistical method. In the sections describing the possible development are used mostly specialized studies.
Industrial Robot Controlling
Studená, Zuzana ; Zbořil, František (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The aim of this work is to create software for the collection and visualization of data measured during automated testing of mechanical parts for cars. Mechanical patrs are tested by collaborative robot LBR iiwa, witch sends the measured data to desktop application. The work describes the design and implementation of application for controlling the robot, collection and visualization of measured data. Last part of the work deals with testing of the final product on a real device and discusses the possibility of deployment in practice.
Simulator of production lines
Viták, Jan ; Kaczmarczyk, Václav (referee) ; Pásek, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this master’s thesis Simulator of Production Lines is to design a concept of the simulator of conveyor production lines with focus on testing control software for PLC and to implement this simulator. The thesis includes description of ready to use solutions available on the market, description of PLC control algorithm to be tested, designed concept of the simulator, description of the implemented software, demonstration of the simulator on a specific task and evaluation of its capabilities.
The Red Queen
Králík, Martin ; Zálešák, Jan (referee) ; Gabriel, Michal (advisor)
Red Queen is a chess piece on the story of Alice in Wonderland, which is constantly running to hold it in place, because the world around it is constantly in motion. Therefore, it is a symbol of the theory of evolution, a constant necessity innovation and the eternal escape from competitors. Red Queen's Race is constructed into a miniature civilization, or rather one growing superorganism, which constantly oscillates between the digital and the physical world. The main consciousness of this association is black majestically looking server that supplies with his computing power and energy all attached printers. They are designed specifically for this purpose, such as abstraction of robotics industry, with an emphasis on a functionally aesthetic form, in yellow-orange color of heavy industrial machinery. The most important and largest part of this system, are entities which printers materialize. They are created according to a living creature of this world, generated by computer, based on a unique code, which is the result of calculating the evolutionary recombination, processed by the server, depending on the reactions of outside observers at the objects which are already created. Sense of each entity is attract attention. How much more, the greater is the chance to continue their code in future generations.
