Change trajectories of wood pastures at the landscape level
Marková, Magdaléna ; Skaloš, Jan (advisor) ; Pavel, Pavel (referee)
The theme of my thesis is analysis and evaluation of development of wood pastures at several locations in the Elbe lowlands from the first half of 19th century up to the present. The area is characterized by its fertility and the large share of arable land. The data analysis was developed using a geographic information system (GIS). The basic documents were maps and written operate of Stationary cadaster. The results of the work are map compositions depicting the change trajectories of wood pastures (extinct, continuous and new), graphs show the area of individual trajectories and evaluate the utility of written operate of the Stacionary cadastre. We have put the obtained information about the natural and social-economic development of the area into context. We got a possible explanation of development, therefore, why the old wooded pastures vanish and new ones arisen elsewhere. Changes of wood pastures were influenced by socio-economic development of the area and probably by distance from a watercourse. The informations obtained from written operate of Stacionary cadaster are useless for this thesis.

Metane hydrate extraction
Hanzlík, Martin ; Brázdil, Marian (referee) ; Šnajdárek, Ladislav (advisor)
Thesis describes the chemical and physical properties of methane hydrate, the presence and location of sites in various types of sediment. Goal of this work is to evaluate the proposed production methods of methane hydrate from the technological, logistical and economic aspects. With the technologies currently available, the best production method is depressurization. There is a high probability that in the next decade it will be used for the production of natural gas from methane hydrate. The conclusion is evaluating areas with high potential for industrial production.

Risk analysis of a municipality with extended powers Tyn nad Vltavou
DUDKOVÁ, Lucie
Risk analysis shows us what can happen, why it can happen, how it can happen, where it can happen and whom it will be affected. Risk analysis should bring an answer to the question of what action the city is subjected to threats, how much the city vulnerable to these threats, how can it be a high probability that the threat exploits a certain vulnerability and what impact it would have on the city could have. The general aim of the thesis was analysis of risk municipalities with extended powers Tyn nad Vltavou. The theoretical part was generally described legislation that is closely concerned with the issue of crisis management is very complex and is treated long line of laws, government regulations, as well as implementing regulations. Also, the basic concepts related to the issue of crisis management. Furthermore, in this thesis in theoretical part explains what they are threats and risks. The threat and risk becoming key concepts of security terminology. These concepts are closely linked and work together, so sometimes are confused or incorrectly used. On the basis of an analysis of the security environment in which the Czech Republic is, to identify specific threats to its security - security threats. It is listed here as well as the types of crisis situations, which are the basis for contingency planning. The methodical approach of risk analysis and the effectiveness of risk analysis is provided in relation to the selection methods of analysis and for what purpose can be selected. Another point is the emergency planning. Emergency planning is a preventive instrument whose sole aim is to identify existing risks and to raise awareness of possible risks in a given area, minimizing the harmful effects of emergencies on the lives and health of people, livestock, environmental, cultural and property, lay down measures to prevent or limiting the effects of the incident and the possible way of removing consequences. Mention is also emergency plan, structure and use of the municipality with extended powers. Another part is the crisis management of the municipality with extended powers. Area of crisis management from the perspective of the potential of state administration at the level of municipalities with extended powers is marked by the high complexity of dealing with the likely threat, because there are intertwined with all legal norms, regulations, decrees, instructions and guidelines. An important component of the theoretical part happens to the organizational rules of the municipal office of a municipality with extended powers in relation to the characteristics of the municipality with extended competence in crisis management and in a normal state. In terms of location analyzed town Tyn nad Vltavou was necessary mention of nuclear safety, radioactivity and princ iple of operation of the nuclear power plant. The practical part focuses on the gathering of available internal and general information and documentation concerning the town Tyn nad Vltavou and its surroundings and analysis of regulations, documents and methodologies related to the town Tyn nad Vltavou and its surroundings. The practical part presents characteristics of the administrative district of municipalities with extended powers Tyn nad Vltavou, the sociodemographic conditions, agricultural land resources, protection of the landscape and monuments, hygiene, environment, transport infrastructure, housing and recreation. It also states the threats and risks of the city and its surroundings, the composition of the Crisis Staff, Security Council and flood the city authorities. There is a risk analysis method KARS and given a semi-structured interview with a representative of the crisis management of the city. Processing and evaluation of acquired and now these results was performed in MS Word, MS Excel.

Modern diagnostic methods use in defectoscopy
Vítámvás, Zdeněk ; Stránský, Lubomír (referee) ; Juliš, Martin (advisor)
Nowadays non-destructive testing offers various ways to detection defects in material. By selecting of suitable method or suitable combination of tests we can locate the defect and determine size of defect with sufficient accuracy. For higher probability of detect defects and for easier operation and evaluation are still evolve new ways of inspection. There are summarizes both ordinarily and modern methods using in defectoscopy in this work. There are describe its principles, courses of testing, suitability of use and there are drop next general information.

Project of wind power station
Kuljovský, Martin ; Joch, Lukáš (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This Master’s thesis concerns a theme of wind power in Czech Republic. It gives a brief overview of wind turbines available at the European market, in the observed performance of range 50 kW with subsequent economic analysis for the locality. At the same time, it mentioned a probability distribution and the mathematical models needed for processing and evaluation of meteorological data. Nevertheless, the main part of this work is focused on the aerodynamic design of the blade of wind power plant for given location and it’s both with and without considering the possible losses.

The polymorphism of sericin 2 gene in silkworm (Bombyx mori)
TYLLEROVÁ, Helena
In our study, we examined the polymorphism of gene Ser2 from domesticated silkmoth Bombyx mori and its closest wild relative B. mandarina. As a starting material for our work, we used the restriction map of allele C isolated from hybrid lineages 200 and 300 of European silkmoth B. mori (Michaille et al. 1990a). We also used the published sequence of allele D which was isolated from {\clq}qDaizo`` p50 strain of B. mori (Kludkiewicz et al 2009). Based on the published sequence, we designed PCR primers and performed sequence analysis of 4 different alleles of gene Ser2, including the almost complete genomic sequence of allele C (except for two short regions containing repetitive DNA). We then compared the sequences and found that the alleles differ significantly not only in intron lengths and the sizes of exon 9, but also in exon arrangements. While the allele C contains 12 exons (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8a, 9, 10, 11, 8b), the alelle D and other alleles analysed have 13 exons (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9a, 10a, 9b, 10b, 11). Allele C showed very unique arrangement of exons, which suggested that it may represent an ancestral form of Ser2 gene. We analysed the arrangment of exons located at the 3´end of the Ser2 gene by PCR and electrophoresis in 70 available strains of B. mori and B. mandarina. We also tried to find a similar allele to the allele C and we amplified and sequenced 2 kb region from 55 Bombyx strains. Phyllogenetic analysis of gene Ser2 gene suggested that the C allele of now probably extinct European silkmoth hybrids 200 and 300 does not seem to be an ancestral form of Ser2 gene, but it rather seems to be the result of complex secondary rearrangements.

The Support of the Tourist Trade in Czech Republic and in Chosen Countries of the EU
ŠVEJDOVÁ, Gabriela
This dissertation is concerned with three areas whereas each has another stadium of turism development. One of them is Spain, which has been a member of European Union for more than twenty years. So during this time it has been well-prepared and well-educated how to use european money to support and boost the travel tourism not only at the seaside. The travel turism has its own tradition on the Croatia coast since the beginning of 20th. century. But after the separation and break up of former Yugoslavia the war freezed the travel turims in this area. And the last one is Czech Republic and area of {\clqq}Novohradsko``. The {\clqq}forgotten area`` because of its location- at first in Sudeten and than in frontier zone- behind the ribs. Thats probably the reason why it has so untouched and unspoiled landscape.

Fabrics and emplacement of Weinsberg - type granitoids (Moldanubian Batholith)
Pour, Ondřej ; Verner, Kryštof (advisor) ; Buriánek, David (referee)
English abstract This diploma thesis is concerned with the brief introduction to the structures and fabrics in granitoid plutons. In the next part of this work are sumarized results of structural analyses of Weinsberg-type granite intrusion (Prášily and Strážný pluton) located in the SW part of high-grade rocks of the Moldanubian Zone. This research proceeded based on a combination of field structural data and results of AMS (Anisotropy of magnetic susceptibility) method. The emplacement and crystallization of both studied magmatic bodies took place in cooperation with the final phases of S3-fabrics development. This "bavarian phase" has a character of heterogenous deformation with indications of the dextral subhorizontal shear (WNW-ESE strike). During this event, syntectonic emplacement and internal fabrics development of strážný pluton took place at ~322 Ma. The transpression was followed by the localized transtension tectonics in NE direction, probably in cooperation with exhumation of high-grade metamorphic rocks of Bavarian terrane. In this phase, at ~320 Ma, the granitoids of Prášily pluton were emplaced into the considerably exhumed crust of the Moldanubian region.

Temperature-related phenotypic plasticity of free-living protists
Poláčková, Tereza ; Neustupa, Jiří (advisor) ; Kulichová, Jana (referee)
In my Bc Thesis I focused on temperature-corellated phenotypic plasticity. The theoretical part is divided into four main thematical units. The first one deals with temperature optimum and growth parameters. The second one with cell size and its infuence on the physiology and ecology of protists. The thirt one with genotyp influence on cell size and growth rate. The fourt one is about primary production and its relation to antagonistic phenomenon of increasing growth rate and decreasing cell size with increasing temperature. Finally, the fifth one is about specific examples of morphological changes which we can find in protist group. In the practical part of the thesis I performed basic analysis of my own data about Micrasterias thomasiana and Micrasterias rotata. I compared the cells from May and October samples from the peat-bog in Krušné hory. The result of my analysis is that there is probably no sezonally-corellted morphological variability in neither of the studied species. Data on M. rotata may be, however, affected by the fact that I found it at one location only.
