The editorial adaptations of selected fairy tales of Božena Němcová in the 19th and 20th century

The thesis is concerned with editorial changes in three of the fairy tales by Božena Němcová (Chytrá horákyně, Čert a Káča, O hloupém Honzovi). The source material is comprised of forty editions; the oldest of the texts is that of the first edition (published 1845-1847), the most recent text was published in 2009. The full texts of the forty editions of the three fairy tales are enclosed on a CD. Editorial changes in the source texts (in contrast to the first edition) have been highlighted. The thesis itself is divided into six main sections. The first section is introductory and it chiefly describes the selection of the material and the method of its processing. The second chapter deals with selected orthographic issues, particularly with the placement of exclamation marks and semicolons, and writing j in the auxiliary verb být in the preterite (šel sem / šel jsem). (Not) writing j in the auxiliary verb být is a stylistic device which helps to distinguish the speech of one of the characters. However, most editors change all forms to the variant with j, whereby the stylistic distinction is lost. The third chapter examines morphology, especially the alteration of selected verb forms. Elections, electoral maps, regional difference in the Czech Republic

The diploma thesis deals with regional differencies in voting results of individual Czech political parties. The thesis is divided into two main parts. The first part describes a theory of voting systems, focuses on their variants and explains also impact on voting results. The second part contains various types of analysis of voting results of elections into Czech Parliament during period of years 1996 -- 2006. In analysis there we calculate with voting results and social-econimic characteristics for each region. The target of analysis is to find out measure of correlation between mentioned datas.

Study and comparison of main kinds of evolutionary algorithms

Evolutionary algorithms belongs among the youngest and the most progressive methods of solving difficult optimization tasks. They received huge popularity mainly due to good experimental results in optimization, a simplicity of the implementation and a high modularity, which is an ability to be modified for different problems. Among the most frequently used Evolutionary algorithms belongs Genetic Algorithm, Differential Evolution and Evolutionary Strategy. It is able to apply these algorithms and theirs variants to both continuous, discrete and mixed optimization tasks. A subject of this theses is to compare three main types of algorithms on the catalyst optimization task with mixed variables, linear constraints and experimentally evaluated fitness function.

Appellation and cassation in civil procedure

In my diploma thesis I am concerned with the regulation of legal remedies with regard to the use of two principal correction systems - appeal and cassation system. The purpose of my thesis is to give the theoretical explanation of these two systems, the overview of their practical application in the czech legal system and a brief insight into the austrian legal system. The reason for my choice of this topic is the substantial change in the legal regulation of our Civil Procedure Code in the last ten years. My thesis is composed of an introduction, six chapters, and a conclusion. Chapter One defines the terminology used in the thesis and describes the development of legal remedies from czech legal perspective. The Chapter is subdivided into four parts. Part One explains the concept of correction proceeding. Part Two circumscribes the construct of legal remedies. Part Three describes the history of legal remedies. Part Four deals with contemporary regulation of legal remedies. We have only one regular legal remedy, which is appeal. Besides that we have three types of irregular legal remedies. Investment in real estate before sale of property

Thesis deals with appreciation of real estate investment before sale. Theoretical part of the thesis is describing basic concepts from the field of valuation of property and basic concepts of investment. There were also summarized basic types of investments, evaluation methods and financial expenses related to investment. Practical part of the thesis is focused on specific property, where were realized construction work. First of all were researched financial expenses of construction work, i.e. investment cost. The property was evaluated by three hypothetical variants of investment. Calculation of expenses related to borrowed capital followed. At the end of the thesis, the survey data were evaluated and compared.

Development of Land Cover Structure and Proposal for Using Indicators of Landscape Structure for Landscape Planning in the Cadaster of Olešnice near Trhové Sviny (S.Bohemia, Czech Republic)

Aims: (1.) to evaluate the historical development of a selected area, using certain indicators computed by Patch Analyst and Fragstas, (2.) to critically evaluate the possibility of using these indicators for landscape planning, (3.) to define the main factors driving the historical changes of landscape structure and to characterize changes in landscape function, and (4.) to propose an improvement of the current state of the area. Map layers including current and past landscape structures were produced using ArcGIS 9.2. Proposed have also been extreme variants of land use, its variants with an increased occurrence of shrubs, and layers showing crops cultivated in the area in the years 2003 - 2009. Some metrics were computed simultaneously by Patch Analyst and Fragstats and the outputs of both programs were compared. The data obtained were treated using STATISTICA 8.

The Position and Mission of the Municipality in the Czech Republic and in France

Prací nad touto tematikou jsem se seznámila s fungováním veřejné správy. Získala jsem informace nejen o struktuře a fungování obecní samosprávy v České republice, ale poznala jsem municipální samosprávu ve Francii, potažmo v zemích Evropské unie. Přínosem bylo i seznámení se s Evropskou chartou místní samosprávy, která je základním textem, který upravuje pravidla fungování územní samosprávy v evropských zemích. Velice zajímavá byla část práce věnující se českému městu Litoměřice a francouzskému městu Le Bouscat. Předpokladem bylo, že územní samospráva je v České republice a ve Francii podobná. Obě země patří к vyspělým evropským státům, které podepsaly Evropskou chartu místní samosprávy. Charta je základním dokumentem pro zákonné úpravy územní samosprávy v těchto zemích. Podobnost obou systému se potvrdila. Rozdíl můžeme hledat v tom, že ve Francii neexistuje orgán, který by odpovídal obecní radě v České republice. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

Impact analysis of renovation on the normal price of a single-family house in Kyjov

The subject of this master thesis is detection how the redevelopment and refurbishment affect regular price of family house. For valuation I chose the building in which I grew up so I know it very good. The family house is located in small south-moravian town Kyjov, in district Nětčice. The family house has a basement and two upper floors. Constructions were completed in 1962. Since 1976 many quite expensive redevelopment and refurbishment have been done. For property valuation is used method of direct comparison with the use of database of similar family houses in Kyjov and also cost method according to law number 441/2013 Sb. Valuation is done in two versions – for building in original condition (in 1985) and in current condition. All at once a couple of variants of redevelopment, which are common nowadays, and for one variant is made the itemized budget. Result of this master thesis should be detection if it is better to buy house after redevelopment and refurbishment or house in original condition and make these structural modifications until then.

A comparison between upgrading of the Březová nad Svitavou railway station and a new railway stop

The task of the thesis is to propose an adjustment to the railway station Březová nad Svitavou with regard to the introduction of the remote control of security device and explore the possibility of building a new railway stop that would be located closer to downtown. The aim is mutual comparison of elaborated variants. Work includes design of new platforms meet the conditions for safe access for people with limited mobility, next adjustment are adjustment of the geometric parameters of the track superstructure and substructure, including system of drainage station.

Cílem této diplomové práce je vytvoření reálného projektu s pomocí využití dvou softwarových produktů a jejich následné porovnání za použití metod vícekriteriálního hodnocení variant. Prvním softwarovým produktem je Microsoft Project. Tato aplikace je přímo určena pro plánování a řízení projektů a pro komunikaci s projektovým týmem. Druhým produktem je aplikace Microsoft Dynamics AX a v ní modul Projekt. Modul je určen pro řízení projektů, správu zdrojů, vytváření odhadů a prognóz, sledování rozpočtů a reálných výdajů na konkrétní projekt či časové plánování. Aplikace MS Dynamics AX je řešením pro plánování a řízení firemních zdrojů (ERP) a e-business, stejně tak i pro řízení vztahů se zákazníky, řízení výroby, řízení dodavatelského řetězce, fungování elektronického obchodu nebo finančního řízení.
