Title: Ethical Aspects of Ultimate Frisbee Objectives: The purpose of this study is to introduce one of the recent team sports - ultimate frisbee - in the matter of its ethics. The work is divided into two thematic parts. The first one deals with general introduction of the fair play problemacy including also the issue of the referees/umpires. The second part presents ultimate frisbee covering its history, game rules and the idea of the Spirit of the Game. Title: The preparation of women floorball referees to preside over professional competitions. Objectives: The main objective of this work is to introduce the reader into the preparation of women floorball referees to preside over professional competitions and then compare with practice. This will provide some guidance for the referees how to proceed in the preparation of the presiding of partial match, as well as for the overall pre-season training. In the research part of this paper will be evaluated the questionnaire survey, whose aim should be the assessment of the current state of preparation of women referees in the Czech Republic and abroad. Methods: This work is based on a literature review of scientific books, articles, and relevant Internet resources. Additional information was drawn from my own experiences and the experiences of colleagues from which is also based the survey. List of respondents of the questionnaire survey was considerably limited because of the overall low number of referees, who preside and can preside the matches of higher competitions, and all the more so as regards women. Title: Analysis of errors futsal referees in relation to their position and physical activity on the pitch Problem: Description of the performance of the referee should be one of the key aspects of the futsal referees system preparation. The current situation, according to knowledge of descriptors of futsal referees performance is not sufficient and adequate to those players' or referees from other sports games. These descriptors will help in the planning and implementation of a systemic approach to futsal referee training in the Czech Republic with the possibility of transfer to the international level. The first part of this thesis is a translation of the Preface, the Preamble, the first 15 Laws and Appendices A and B from The Laws of Cricket. The aim of this translation is that it will be used by Czech speakers while playing cricket in the Czech Republic or elsewhere. Cricket in the Czech Republic is not a widespread sport and thus several new Czech terms had to be created. The second part analyzes extratextual and intratextual factors of the original text according to Christiane Nord, describes the main translation problems and their solutions, shows the translation method and lists shifts which occurred in the translation.

The aim of this thesis called Arbitration Procedure in the Czech Republic is to characterize Arbitration in the Czech Republic, describe individual aspects of Czech Arbitration and outline highly discussed issues of recent months. This thesis called Arbitration Procedure in the Czech Republic is composed of nine chapters excluding the introduction and conclusion. Each of these chapters deals with different aspect of Arbitration Procedure. Czech Judo community is a cultural group that is comprised of athletes, coaches and higher referee officials. Nevertheless, this cultural group has one serious problem from the cultural and social term point of view. Every group, or better to say a formation, from which this community consists of, understands its role in this cultural group differently to the others. The research examines the relationships between particular groups. I mainly emphasize the methodology of research in this work.
Design of a Football Association Web Portal

Website should serve not only players, club officials, association officials and referees, but also to the general public. The web portal will be used for the publication of results and statistics of the matches organized by the District Football Association, competitions fixtures, records of Association’s expert committees, information for clubs and football fans, delegation of referees etc.
Comparison of systems of remuneration referees in the professional leagues

This thesis, which is divided into theoretical and analytical part, deals with the analysis of the remuneration of referees in professional basketball leagues in the U.S. and Europe. Consequently, it compares and evaluates these systems. In the theoretical section first it explains the rules of basketball and its popularity in the world compared to other sports. It mentions here about the two most prestigious competitions of the world basketball - the NBA and Euroleague. Analytical section begins with an explanation of the functions and work of a basketball referees. There is also explained the process of how to become a basketball referee. After that, it analyzes the two options of their remuneration system on the example of Czech basketball league NBL and American league NBA. It also compares these different evaluation systems. Referees had a chance to say their opinion through interviews and questionnaires, which is summarized in the penultimate chapter of the analytical work. In the last chapter it presents a SWOT analysis of the American way of remuneration of arbitrators and the possibility of its application to the European competitions.
Qualifying and age structure of football referees in the Highland Region

The work deals with qualifying and age structure survey of football referees in the Highland Region. I have realized a research in autumn part of football season 2008/2009, which district and regional football associations of the Highland Region took part in. I have recorded the results in form of charts and graphs to be able to evaluate them and to obtain data necessary for evaluation. I have used questionary method during the research
