Hudáková, Jana ; Švarc, Zbyněk (advisor) ; Hásová, Jiřina (referee)
Difficulties of enterprises constitute negative phenomenon in society. They occur so often that both French and Czech legislator decided to regulate them by adoption of relevant legal provisions that offer particular ways of solution of debtor's bankruptcy. Bankruptcy law, term generally denoting this legal area, passed through "rich" historical development, what reflects in its legal, economic and social framework. Thesis is divided into four parts. The first one briefly defines difficulties of enterprises. The second one deals with different ways of solution of debtor's bankruptcy in French law, introduces principal changes that were made by the latest amendments from the area of bankruptcy law and by means of attached statistics illustrates number of bankruptcies and ways of their "treatment" in France. The third part deals with Czech insolvency law and underlines changes introduced by the new law of bankruptcy and ways of its solution that entirely replaced previous "law about bankruptcy and settlement". The last part summarizes findings of my thesis, proposes eventual ways of mutual inspiration derived from French or Czech bankruptcy law, deals with reflections de lege ferenda and outlines some terminological problems.

87 Abstract Title of thesis: Rationalization of European regulation framework Abstract The purpose of my thesis is to analyse European legal system and evaluate positive aspects of Better Regulation Strategy on the rationalization of European legal system. Main shortcomings of the current European legal system are identified in enormous number of legal acts that are low quality, misunderstandable, inconsistent and incoherent in parallel. These features have a negative impact on implementation of individual legal obligations and on low effectiveness of the European legal system. The thesis is composed of three chapters. Chapter One is introductory and describes the Legal framework for the Approximation of Laws according to Chapter III of Title VII "Common Rules on Competition, Taxation and Approximation of Laws in the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (hereinafter "TFEU"). The special emphasis is devoted to the role of soft law in the European legal order and modifications that were...

Software Estimation
Surňák, Peter ; Buchalcevová, Alena (advisor) ; Stanovská, Iva (referee)
This thesis deals with software estimation, describes individual methods which may be used for constructing estimates in terms of effort, time and costs. It also deals with quality of estimate, the way it is used, the process of selection of the right method and other consequences. The main goal of thesis is creating a compact overview of currently known and used methods and approaches to constructing estimates. As a secondary target comes an example of practical use of estimate on a simulated project, where the way of choosing estimating method is presented, based on project attributes such as size, current stage of project or project type. For achieving these intentions, it is important to first set up basic framework of basic terms such as estimate, estimating, project and software project. Apart from just defining these terms, there are some necessary interrelations which must be explained before anything else. Another step is creating categorization of particular methods, their description, restrictions and suitable uses. The quality of an estimate, including factors which may bias, degrade or improve it, is another step towards final goal. Consequences, which may arise when wrong estimate has been provided, are one more piece of mosaic to this work. Lastly, case study demonstrate how to choose from estimating methods and use them on particular project. The expected benefits of the thesis are mainly in summarizing of existing approaches to the art of estimating broken down to categories, as well as list of principles and factors which affects an estimate and the ways estimates influence the project (in either positive or negative direction).

REFORM OF HEALTH SERVICE
Hanáčková, Michaela ; Munzi, Tomáš (advisor) ; Vebrová, Ludmila (referee)
In doing my thesis, I wanted to compare the medical health care systems of the United States and the Czech Republic. I did the analysis for these two countries because their medical systems are quite different. United States applies a form of medical health that is based on the principle of free choice and competition in the market where as the Czech social system uses compulsory insurance for every citizen. My goal was to clarify which system is the more efficient method for quality health care. In the theoretical part, we are dealing with specifics of the health care market and I outline aspects of the methods used to combat moral hazard. The analytical part consists of a framework to clarify the differences in the systems, evaluate their positive and negative aspects and how each system impacts the individual residents of each country. In the final part of this work I will try to propose a solution that would improve the situation of medical health care in the Czech Republic and the United States of America.
