Game Theory and poker

Society regards still poker as a form of hazard but in fact it is a " game of skill". The game where one must make correct decisions and manage ones money. Luck plays no role in the long-term time frame of the game because players make rational choices similar to that reported in mutual transactions among economic entities. Bachelor's thesis focuses on impact of the game of poker to origin the Game Theory and summarizes the specific features of the game. It explains its use by founders of the Game Theory as a suitable model for solving strategic situation in zero-sum games. The second part describes role of poker in economic history to its current developments. Seeking answers to the questions associated with a wide-growing popularity of the game: why people are willing to play poker, why poker is trying to change a position of gambling game and be taken as a sport activity. In this part, I also have used the model of Friedman-Savage utility function to point out the motivation of profesional poker play to make a living through playing poker. The last part of the work deals with the development and expansion of online poker. It describes the regulation, security answers and legal obstacles which have been arisen by its dynamic development in the market in recent years.

Factor of originality in advertising

The bachelor thesis deals with exploitation of original attitudes in advertising. The thesis solves answers, what role plays the factor of originality in advertising, when and why firms use that factor, how creators work with it, how consumers perceive the factor and what other elements it generally contains. The bachelor thesis qualifies relationship of advertising and originality, describes and probes practical situations, when originality in advertising can be used as a serious competitive advantage.

The Participants of the Drug Prevention in Prague 7

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to find how the drug prevention is realised in the Prague 7 city district by researching the key players, resulting in getting the responses to the following questions : who are the key players of this realization and which role si played by the civic organizations. The additional aims are to learn if the key players have the documents decisive for the mentioned realization and which are the possbilities of the financial sources to support the provided services, especially in the civic sector. Another partial aim is to generalize the data from the research, so that they can be used also out of the Prague 7 city district and to formulate the recommendations for improving the situation. Firstly the thesis briefly introduces the activities and the rank of the key players, that carry out the drug prevention in Prague 7: the school psychologist, drug preventionist and the civic sector organizations. One of the chapters deals with the laws, strategical and methodical documents, that are related to the anti-drug prevention. Knowledge management and its application in human resource management

This doctoral thesis proposes to specify a relatively new managerial discipline - Knowledge Management (KM) in a different way than it is done in an accessible literature. Nowadays, KM represents a wide and intensively discussed topic with many critics as well as advocates. Above all, it is a practical discipline that came out of practice and it is inseparably connected with it. Intangible (knowledge) assets are its main essence. KM is a complex process that must be supported by a strong foundation of enablers. The enablers for KM are corporate strategy and culture, team work, informal networking, measurement, and technology. Each of these must be designed and managed together with the others and supported by organizational process. The process usually involves several of the following stages or sub-processes in the use of knowledge: to create, identify, formalize, organize, disseminate, share, adapt, use and evaluate it. Effective implementation of KM brings the right knowledge to the right associates on time and in the right form to the organization. The thesis consists of four chapters. The Burian's War - an Example of One Play Inspired by Folk Performance

The contribution is focused on structur analysis of the staging of the E. F. Burian's folk play The War which was built on the principles of folk theatre but became a modern synthetic theatre. That was due to the cognition of syncretism in folk performance known from P. Bogatyriov's functionally structuralist studies.

The Youth and their Moral Attitude to the Current Society

The thesis deals with the moral thinking of youth in its adolescent age. The first part deals with the basic ethic terms and with historical development of ethic thinking. The thesis deals further with determinants, which influence the moral development of thinking of a man including primary and secondary socialisation and the influence of a state. The theoretical part ends with a chapter dealing with the psychological aspects of development of moral judgement, where are described the particular stages of moral development according to Lawrence Kohlberg. The practical part deals with the research in a given group according to Kohlberg. The research is made with regard to family background of an individual. Except for reactions to Heinz´s dilemma, there are researched the differences between moral attitudes of men and women and the differences between individuals coming from villages or cities. The aim of this thesis is to judge, if it is possible from the stage of a moral judgement of the researched adoloscents, judge a relation according to the context of their experience in the family. The research showed some influences to moral thinking of a man, but it is not possible to determine the convincing conclusions. The man is to complicated human being, whose moral quality shows the concrete and practical situation only.

Prevention of complications and staying in shape with patients who have Parkinson disorder

In the theoretical part of this thesis, symptoms and development of the disease are described. Techniques and methods of physiotherapy are mentioned in the chapter dealing with treatment through using physical exercise. Physiotherapy plays an important role in the medical care of the patients with PD.In the practical part, the influence of kinesiotherapy on the quality of patients? mobility is assessed. The research techniques carried out were a semi-structured interview, observation and casuistry. Four patients with PD from the club called "Parkinson" in Ceske Budejovice took part in the research ? two men and two women ? all of them in the middle stage of the disease. Goniometric examination, the third part of the ?UPDRS? - The Unified Parkinson's Disease Rating Scale of PD and examination of posture and walking were used.The results showed an improvement or at least maintaining the mobility and range of motion in the patients. In the case of longer-term therapy, a greater effect of exercise on the mobility of patients could be expected.

The thesis is focused on the analysis and subsequent identification of consumer behavior especially in the Russian Federation. It is divided into seven chapters, where the first chapter describes the historical aspects of consumer behavior research and presents the basic trends in behavior of the consumers in modern society. Further, the main factors that influence consumer behavior are identified and stages of purchasing decision process are described. This thesis approaches the concept of perception of advertising and examines consumer behavior in marketing systems. The last chapter focuses on specifics of consumer behavior in the Russian Federation. It identifies different types of consumers in Russia, structure of Russian society and the feaures of the Russian perception of advertising.

Professional career of the woman

The target of this bachelor thesis is to sketch out the puzzle around the professional career of a woman from several points of view. The first chapter is focused on professional career as such. It informs the reader, among other things, about the stages, which does man go through during his professional life or the most widely known teories of professional career. It then introduces ways of how do organisations take part in development of professional career of an employee. The second chapter engages in legislative anchorage in both national and international field. The third chapter attends professional career of a woman throghout history, but also at present-day situation. Alongside it this thesis deals with facts that distinguish the career of a woman from the career of a man. The last fourth chapter outline the puzzle of harmonisation of a professional and family life, because this area distinctively influences the situation of women on the labour market.

Analysis of documentation and help authoring tools

This work offers essential overview of the area of documentation and online help, suggests the tools suitable for their production and outlines the possibilities of their use. Document is divided into three sections. First part acquaints the reader with the term documentation, its purpose, particular kinds, structure and stages of development. It shows the difference between the rigorous and agile methodology used for its creation and finally presents the position of the author of documentation and describes prerequisites for the successful documentator. Next chapter deals with online help, shows its purpose and characteristics of particular kinds. Then the division of the means of help creating is listed, namely graphic elements, help systems and web help. The last part includes the analysis of documentation and help authoring tools. It contains the description of procedure used for analyzing, categorization of discovered tools and criteria for their selection. General description, fundamental parameters, overview of main functions and the evaluation of possibilities of usage and combination with other applications are listed for each tool. Finally the analysis results are summarized and the area of particular tool usage is suggested. This work should help the reader with orientation in available tools for documentation and help authoring and offer the guidance in selection of particular solution.
