Data capture for creation of DTM
Ondráček, Daniel ; Šváb,, Tomáš (referee) ; Kalvoda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis deals with the the capture of data for digital terrain model. The specified location was measured in cooperation with the student Tomáš Kobližek. Surveying networks were auxiliary survey points that were measured by GNSS. Measurements were connected to the system Uniform Trigonometric Cadastral Network and Baltic height system after the settlement. Detailed points were measured by tacheometry and comply with third accuracy class and have been tested by CSN 01 3410. The main result of this thesis is special map at scale of 1:500.

Impact of cryogenic grinding on iodine homogeneity in NIST SRM 1548a Typical Diet
Kameník, Jan ; Kučera, Jan
The reference material NIST SRM 1548a Typical Diet has a certified iodine mass fraction of 0.759±0.103 mg kg-1. The expanded uncertainty is rather large (relative value 13.6 %), thus the material does not provide strict requirements for quality control results. Milling of NIST SRM 1548a at the temperature of liquid nitrogen yielded free-flowing material. Iodine mass fraction in the original and cryo-ground materials was determined by epithermal neutron activation analysis (ENAA) and radiochemical neutron activation analysis (RNAA). The average and standard deviation from both methods was 0.73±0.03 mg kg-1 (20 values). The determined mass fraction was in a close agreement with the certified value of NIST SRM 1548a, thus iodine total content was not influenced by the milling procedure. In comparison to iodine mass fraction determined in the original NIST SRM 1548a 0.72±0.07 mg kg-1 (average ± standard deviation, 14 values), the standard deviation for cryo-ground material was considerably lower. The prepared quality control material sets up more stringent requirements on the validation and quality control procedures of the measurement of iodine mass fraction in such a composite food matrices. We believe that the iodine random inhomogeneity in the original NIST SRM 1548a is due to insufficient mixing of some iodine-rich component in the complex food matrices. Milling at the temperature of liquid nitrogen offers an effective option for production of future reference materials of this kind.

Problematics of the History education at High schools
Kulhavá, Zdeňka ; Parkan, František (advisor) ; Mikeska, Tomáš (referee)
KEYWORDS: pupil, student's book, didactical analyses, students, student's book function analysis, modern history, tuition, didactical materials The thesis theme is 'The problematics of modern history education at secondary/high schools. The thesis objective is a complex survey of the situation related to the modern history and current history education at grammar schools and specialized secondary/high schools in the Czech Republic. This thesis provides a thorough response to the following questions: Do the teachers at Czech secondary/high schools teach modern history until 1989 or not? Do they reflect the historical period after 1989 and where do they finish? What student's books are used by teachers? What student's books are used by students? What are the conditions for the student's book composition set by the Czech education policy. With an intent to reveal the responses to these questions, the diploma thesis analyses legislative framework of the Czech Republic education policy (Act No. 561/2004 Coll. about pre-school, elementary, secondary/high, college and other education, hereinafter referred to as 'School Act'), basic curricular documents (Framework Educational Program for Elementary Education, Framework Education Program for Grammar Schools, school education programs of particular grammar...

Phenotypic Analyses of the HD transgenic Minipig Model
Motlík, Jan ; Ellederová, Zdeňka
The transgenic model of Huntington’s disease in minipig (TgHD) was created in 2009 and information coding the sequence of N-terminal part of human mutated huntingtin was transferred to subsequent generations from both female and male sides. In each litter, transgenic (TgHD) and wild-type (WT) piglets were born in approximately equal ratio. At present, the Laboratory of Cell Regeneration and Plasticity keeps sets of animals in F2 and F3 generations with identical genetic background and bred in identical conditions of feeding and housing. The present research project was focused on a complex of non-invasive and invasive approaches to WT and TgHD minipigs to achieve the entire phenotypic analysis of HD progression in this large animal model.

Cultural differences in educatin Czech and English families
Zmeková, Olga ; Slaboch, Martin (advisor) ; Tereza, Tereza (referee)
The master thesis introduces the educational systems in the Czech Republic and the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, with focus on England. When assigning the master thesis topic, the author did not realize how extensive and complex the topic was. Therefore, while studying documents, reserching information, and finding respondents, the topic of the thesis narrowed to focus only on the educational systems of both countries and their comparison from the teachers´point of view. The thesis is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part is built on information gained from studying documents. The author will present both systems, their history, basic features, and the individual stages of education. Concerning this topic, a relatively sufficient amount of literary and online resources exists. The practical part of the thesis introduces the results of a qualitative research. As a part of this thesis, ten interviews with teachers who have experience with both the Czech and English educational systems took place. Due to the broadness of the topic, the author has chosen the above mentioned qualitative research, specifically a semi-structured interview, which allows the topic to be researched thoroughly. The teachers had an opportunity to share their knowledge and experience, which they gained throughout their careers. The interviews enabled the author to gain new information which were not found in literature. The personal experiences brought a certain amount of authenticity to the thesis. The conclusion of the thesis consists of a summary of the information the author has managed to gather.
