Analysis of tourism of Sušice

The bachelor thesis evaluates tourism in the town of Sušice. The work contains geographical characteristic of the town, analysis of preconditions for development of tourism and assessment of its progress and current state. Analysis and complex evaluation of development of tourism in Sušice is the main aim of this work. Two methods were used for reaching this goal. The significant part of results is based on a survey, which is based on tourists' and local entrepreneurs' opinions. The method of controlled structured interview with chosen actors of tourism in Sušice was also used. The empirical part analyzes opinions and views of local entrepreneurs and visitors on the matter of tourism in this town. The conclusion summarizes all the knowledge, appraises set hypothesis, mentions all advantages and disadvantages of the town, and, last but not least, it also outlines new opportunities for further development of tourism in Sušice.

This Bachelor Thesis entitled ”Problems of the remuneration system of the Municipal office of the town of Jihlava employees” analyses current state of remuneration system of this subject of public administration and proposes its improvement. In the first theoretical part, important terms of remuneration are explained; the second practical part is focused on specific system of remuneration of the Municipal office of the town of Jihlava. The system was thoroughly analysed and evaluation of the employees’ satisfaction with this system was examined with opinion pool.

The bachelor thesis titled Public Opinion Poll on the Work of the CR Police among Residents of České Budějovice aims to find out the opinions of the residents of the town of České Budějovice on the work of the members of the Police of the Czech Republic and tries to reveal what influences this opinion and why. The objective of the paper was to find out whether the opinions of the residents of České Budějovice on the work of the Police of the Czech Republic are influenced by their own experience, and whether the residents of České Budějovice consider their locality to be safe, and to what degree the Police of the Czech Republic is responsible for this, and whether the residents of České Budějovice trust the members of the Police of the Czech Republic.

Child Abuse and Neglect

The theme of my bachelor´s thesis is the mistreatment, abuse, and neglect of children. The aim of my thesis will be to focus on how to relate the CAN syndrome to the general public, as well as exploring and documenting the attitudes and opinions about this syndrome. In the theoretical part of my thesis, I will explain and detail the characteristic signs of the CAN syndrome, which can but is not limited to: types of abuse, neglect, causes and consequences of violence to children, victim and perpetrator characteristics, and the prevention and treatment of the CAN syndrome. The practical part of my thesis will consist of the evaluated results of a general survey which will contain research questions, and will be presented to the participants in the town Příbram.

Modernization of the waste management system

The aim of this thesis is to suggest the right solution for the current situation of a disposal dump located close to the town of Lány in Middle Bohemia. There are two possible solutions how to continue with the project, either leaving the current state of the disposal dump or building an integrated centre for mechanical -- biological treatment of the waste. Taking into account economical calculations and other factors like time factor, investment amount, expected year profit, payback period, changes in european legislation and others, I have deciced to suggest one more solution. In my opinion the most efficient way for solving the situation is using financial support from Operational Programme Environment in a field Waste Management Improvement and buy composting and sorting line .

The Pardubice Crematorium

Main objective of this thesis is the building of Pardubice crematorium, which is an example of national architect style, so-called Rondocubism, created by the architect Pavel Janák. First part is dedicated to the theoretical fundaments derived from the former pre-war style of kubismus. In the second part these fundaments are explained on the submitted drawing proposals for the structure of Pardubice crematorium dating from the year 1919. Then the analysis of these proposals from Janak's first drafts till the final appearance of Pardubice crematorium can be seen as the main contribution of this work. Furthermore author adds both the chapter documenting the opinion changes relating to this building and the short outlook on the topic of cremation which gives reader a better understanding of period social context. The Bachelor thesis titled The comparison of the diagnostic results of school readiness in the city and in the village is focused on the problems of the school age development. The object is to give the opinion on better readiness for school of the children in the city or in the village. The theoretical part contains the characteristics of preschool child's motor, cognitive, perceptual, social and emotional development. There is the concept of the school readiness and the individual parts of the school readiness, the school readiness, the school immaturity and the reason of the postponement of schooling there. The practical part includes the results of the investigation in the selected sample of children using the tests of the school readiness.

To emphasize the importance ofbalneology for the region development. Metodology : Observation, descriptive analysis, SWOT analysis, interview, questioning. Results: To improve the public opinion of the region as a destination of tourism with enjoyments of sport thanks to a deep analysis. Own offers of holiday stays for a few different types of tourists. Own suggestion to improve the offer of sport and recreation services. The interconnection of sport and balneology is the chance for the expansion of tourism. Usage of Open Source Software in the Czech Public Administration

This thesis deals with problems of open source software and its usage in an organization. The thesis is divided into three main parts; first of them describes the definiton, history, characteristic and actual offer of open source software; second part moves us to the Public Administration world, where it surveys stage of implementation of open source software in some countries around the world and in the Czech Republic especially; third part uses gained finding from the previous parts to design application architecture to particular conditions of The University of Economics, Prague. First of the main goals of this thesis is to analyse possibilities of implementation of open source software instead of closed software. Next one is to chart the state of implementation of this type of software into Public Administration field in the Czech Republic and abroad. Last objective is to project application architecture with usage of open source software to particular condition of The University of Economics, Prague. These goals was achieved by studying many information resources, discussions with specialist, including of representatives of the state, about the given topics, and further analyse of current conditions of The University of Economics, Prague. Benefits of this thesis are especially compact view on open source software, further the survey of opinions of representatives of state, representatives of towns and next specialists on this type of software a its possibilities of usage in public administration. Last but not least benefit is to desing the application architecture to particular, rather complex, environment of The University of Economics, Prague.

Specifics of Marketing Communication in the West Bohemian Spa Triangle in 2010

Bachelors thesis "Specifics of marketing communication of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle in 2010" deals with mapping communication activities of each town which is part of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle (Carlsbad, Marienbad, Franzenbad) to determine if in case of listing these three towns together on the list of the UNESCO World Heritage their communication could stay the same or not. This thesis is a comparative study which is divided into a theoretical part and practical part. Theoretical introduction deals with spa, specific features and descriptions of the given three spa towns. The theoretical part also contains theory of marketing and marketing communication. The practical part compares and describes communication activities of each town in 2010 and also compares opinions of three representatives of the towns who took part in a qualitative survey for purposes of this thesis. This works objective is to compare and assess existing communication of the towns and together with the results of the survey to create a vision of communication of the West Bohemian Spa Triangle as if it becomes an official tourist destination.
