Veselý, Vojtěch ; Pavlů, Dagmar (advisor) ; Novotná, Irena (referee)
Title: Accident rate at floorball players with previous experience with ice hockey. Objectives: To determine whether there is an increased rate of injuries of ankle joint at floorball players with previous experience with ice hockey than at floorball players without this experience. To evaluate the impact of the operation of ice hockey, the sport with permanently fixed foot in the skate, at followed up playing of floorball at the top level. Methology: For the purposes of this thesis was compiled multiple-standard questionnaire - questionnaire form. The research sample consisted of 100 probands - the first group of 25 probands top floorball players who have played at least 5 years of ice hockey at the highest level, the second group 25 floorball extra-league players, third group of 25 professional ice hockey players. Last fourth group consisted of 25 probands athletes meeting the conditions of at least 3 times a week training and 1 championship match - non focus on ice hockey and floorball. The resulting data were first analyzed and clearly captured in tables in Microsoft Office Word 2003. Then were analyzed only data relating to the ankle joint injuries in floorball players using statistical methods to confirm the hypothesis - method of association - association coefficient, Chi-square test....
2 + 1 Roads
Kosňovský, Michal ; Apeltauer, Tomáš (referee) ; Kocourek,, Jiří (referee) ; Radimský, Michal (advisor)
This dissertation addresses the possibility of using the 2+1 road arrangement in the Czech Republic. Given that there is no such 2+1 segment in the Czech Republic, it was necessary to find sections with similar characteristics, evaluate and measure the rate of accidents as well as sectional velocity. The accident rate was evaluated on 72 sections and based on this research the optimal length of 2+1 arrangement road sections was determined. Digital image analysis and license plate recognition was used to evaluate the sectional velocity. Eight selected sections was subjected to the additional sectional velocity measurement, which showed improvement in passenger vehicles travel time. Traffic model microsimulations were performed after the data analysis. 2+1 arrangement roads are suitable solution for increasing travel speeds on sections where building of four-lane road is not economically viable.
Bezpečné osvětlení přechodů pro chodce
Bláha, Zdeněk ; Sokanský, Karel ; Novák, Tomáš
This paper solves the lighting of pedestrian crossings. This type of lighting helps to improve the safety of pedestrians in this conflict area (means a pedestrian crossing). The research was drawn on the basis of measurements of 87 pedestrian crossings in district Ostrava because the regularities can be better understood. Pedestrian crossings were evaluated on the basis of luminance ratio and statistical data of accident rate. This paper also solves the reflectance of clothes which is also important for this research.
Vehicle Safety Assist Systems and Their Assessment under Euro NCAP Directives
Szabó, Ákos ; Zubík, Martin (referee) ; Raffai, Peter (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor’s thesis was to create overview about vehicle safety assist systems and to show their impact of road traffic safety. In the first part of this thesis systems were categorized by their function and characteristic. After that there were created a survey about accident rate and there were shown the most common causes in road accidents. In the second part was discussed principle how brake assist systems and automatic emergency braking work. In the last section was explained assessment under Euro NCAP directives, where the attention was focused onassesment of the experimentsof safety assist.

Injury prevention is selected EU countries
ŠESTÁKOVÁ, Jana
Abstrakt Injury prevention is selected EU countries. The subject of my diploma work is focused on injury prevention in selected EU countries. Injuries do not present only serious health problem but also socio-economic problem. Traffic injuries in OECD countries contribute in overage 41 % to all deaths of children up to 14 years of age as a consequence of injury. The objective of my work is to describe approach of selected EU countries to injury prevention and map preventive measures in injury prevention in selected countries, including Czech Republic, Slovakia, Sweden, Italy, Germany and France. Prevention is targeted activity based on cognition that injury prevention is always simpler than dealing with irreversible consequences. Work objectives have been identified by work quantitative research methodology. I have been focused on government documents, legislative regulations as well as other documents dealing with injury prevention. Materials which were subject to secondary analysis were received from several main resources, including governmental, state and non-state institutions of selected EU countries. Due to inaccessibility of some documents or unsuitable or unfound resources, I have used complementary questioning method. I have addressed respondents living and working in selected EU countries. The issue of child injury prevention is on preference positions in political programs, takes place on all levels, including state, regional and local levels. States adopt national injury prevention action plans; approve legislative measures, such as speed in municipalities, use of cycling helmets by children, use of retaining systems. School and out-of-school traffic education is organized in all of the selected EU countries. It should begin already at pre-school age. Parents play significant role as well as state and non state institutions. The most complex program in the selected EU countries is called "Safe Communities". In all of the selected EU countries there are also other organisations which participate in preventive programs, events, trainings and campaigns. In addition other local authorities, administration bodies, organisations and communities of interest and individuals can be invited to cooperate and all these activities can be coordinated and interconnected. The issue of injury prevention must be dealt with continuously. Coordinated and consistent prevention of child injuries has positive impact on reduction of child injury rate and death rate. Result of the work will contribute to better foreknowledge, education and comparison. In addition its will be used for learning purposes by ZSF JU.
