Studie mapuje vývoj dopravní nehodovosti v ČR podle hlavních druhů dopravy a zaměřuje se i na časové a regionální variace dopravní nehodovosti. Analyzuje spektrum nehod podle druhu, příčin a způsobu zavinění, soustřeďuje se mimo jiné i na dopady hmotných škod a zvláště zranitelné účastníky silničního provozu (motocyklisté, chodci, cyklisté, starší lidé, děti, aj.). Z příčin nehodovost je obšírněji rozebrán vliv alkoholu, nepříznivých přírodních podmínek, nezkušenost řidičů, atd. Rozbor je obohacen o mezinárodní srovnání. The study maps out the development of the traffic accidents in the Czech Republic according to the major modes of transport, and it focuses on the temporal and regional variations of traffic accidents. Analyzing the spectrum of accidents according to the type, cause and manner of the fault, the project focuses, inter alia, on the effects of material damage and especially vulnerable road users (motorcyclists, pedestrians, cyclists, elderly people, children, etc.). Of the causes of the accident rate is more dismantled the influence of alcohol, the adverse natural conditions, inexperience drivers, etc. The analysis is enriched by international comparison.
