ANOTATION: This bachelor's work describes the development ofthe parish at the church ofSaint Jacob Major in the city district Stodulky during the years 1985 - 2005. At the same time it tries to prove that the general situation in the parish ofSaint Jacob is improving in the sphere of parochial pastorate. The number of received sacraments including Eucharist increases both in the original church and in the new community centre. The influence ofthe parish on the community ofbelievers (Christians) and as well on the neighbouring population is relatively important considering the period andlocality ofthe parish.

The utilization of the Czech Solver, the rabbit breed, in Czech Republic
PRAVDOVÁ, Lenka
The bachelor thesis focuses on the utilization of the Czech Solver, a Czech national rabbit breed, which is registered in The National Programme on Conservation of genetic resources of plants, animals and micro-organisms for Food and Agriculture. The Czech Solver, differ other rabbit breeds, is not used for meat or pelt production. It was originally invented to be able to confirm or disprove the purebred origin of the tested animal, hence the name solver. In the genetic code of Czech Solver's fur, four out of five alleles are recessive, which enables the animal to determine the purebred pedigree of a different rabbit breed when the two individuals are crossbred. It is described the required exterior of the Czech Solver is described and the breed is compared to other foreign breeds of the same genetic code. The work includes legislature, organization structure, conditions and possibilities of gaining a financial support for pure breeding of this breed, as well as suggests solutions how to increase the Czech Solver population.

Komparace keynesiánských a neoklasických teorií regulace bank

Charles University in Prague, Faculty of Pharmacy in Hradec Králové Department of Biochemical Sciences University of Seville, Faculty of Pharmacy Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology Candidate: Karolína Veselá Supervisors: Prof. Dr. José Luis Venero Recio, Prof. Ing. Vladimír Wsól, Ph.D Title of diploma thesis: Role of Systemic Inflammation in Parkinson's Disease. Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common ageing-related neurodegenerative disorder after Alzheimer's disease and the prevalence in population is increasing. The characteristic movement disorder is caused by selective dopaminergic neurons loss, while the mechanism of this neurodegeneration is not well understood. Increasing evidence points out the key role of vicious cycle of microglial overactivation and oxidative stress, while the questions "where it begins" and "how to stop it" remain without clear answers. This thesis investigates implication of peripheral inflammation as a deteriorating circumstance and possible inductor of brain inflammation and progressive dopaminergic neurodegeneration. We use mice model of Parkinson's disease employing single intraperitoneal injection of toxin N-methyl-4-phenyl-1,2,3,6- tetrahydropyridine (MPTP) that induces specific degeneration of DA neurons and in contrast to other animal...

Physiotherapy in the eyes of the general public
ZACHOVÁ, Pavla
This bachelor degree thesis offers an analysis of the views of the lay public, i.e., non-medical persons, about physiotherapy. Physiotherapy forms a part of the complex process of rehabilitation, and plays an important role in preventive, diagnostic and medical care. This thesis consists of two sections: theory and practical. The theory section deals with the history of physiotherapy, complex rehabilitation and the International Classification of Functioning, Disabilities and Health. The chapter entitled Physiotherapy explains the aims of this field, the training of physiotherapists and the scope of their work, as well as the diagnostic and therapeutic tools used. This chapter also includes a code of ethics, a list of professional associations, a code of standards for physiotherapists, and possibilities of payments for the provided physiotherapeutic services. The final chapter of the theory section gives the definition of the words ?massage? and ?massage therapist?. The practical section aims to find out the level of knowledge the general public has about the meaning of the word ?physiotherapy? and its associated expressions, the physiotherapist training system, the uses to which physiotherapy and spa care could be applied, and the role physiotherapy plays in the Czech health system. My survey took the form of a quantitative research, and the data were collected from responses given in the questionnaires. Target groups were people from the regions of Vysočina and South Bohemia. They were classified into four age groups. The questionnaire consisted of 22 questions and the collected results were processed using the occurrence analysis method, and also displayed graphically. The survey proved that the general public needs to be better informed about the field of physiotherapy and physiotherapy treatment conditions. For this reason, an informative brochure containing all necessary information for the non-medical section of the population has been issued. This bachelor degree thesis can be used as learning material for current and former students of physiotherapy, as well as by other medical and non-medical professionals. It also encourages us to think about how to raise the image of physiotherapy both amongst the general public and healthcare specialists.

Use of Imaging Methods in Diagnosing Focal Pulmonary Lesions
KOUKALOVÁ, Beata
The main objektive of my thesis is to evaluace the use of individual paging methods in the Znojmo hospitál in the years 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 and in the year 2011 in diagnising focal pulmonary lesions. I Compaq the data obtained efore my maternity leave in 2004, the data from the years 2006 to 2008, hen systém ganges took place in the hospitál, and the data after my return to work in 2011. I briefly describe anatomical structures of individual organs in the thoracic cavi-ty, thein mutual relations and X-ray anatomy. A also mention other options of imaging by using conventional paging techniques and also indications for further investigation of lesions through other diagnostic methods ( CT, MRI, PET-CT ). I monitor a group of patiens who had a conventional skiagram taken, and based on the informatik from the radiograph, the lung dinase was diagnosed or a further in-vestigation was indicated to specify the diagnosis, or an X-ray picture had a normal fin-ding. Using this data, I have found out that i tis impossible to get a diagnosis and decide on a treatment strategy based on the fading provided by an X-ray picture. Therefore further investigation by using other paging methods is neceséry. I also wanted to point out that conventional skiagram still remains the primary diagnostic method to detect variol lung diseases in at-risk population groups ( immigrants, at-risk workers ).

Wisconsion card sorting test. Screening of performance in Czech population
Kawaciuková, Radka ; Šípek, Jiří (referee) ; Niederlová, Markéta (referee)
Wisconsin Card Sorting Test (WCST) has been published as a measure of flexibility of thinking. Soon, it became a popular neuropsychological tool sensitive to brain damage, especially frontallobes. Arising from the knowledge of relationship between frontal lobes and executive functions, WCST is also called an executive task. Various versions of the test have been developed. Heaton' s standardization is in the focus of this thesis because it is the most often used version. Wisconsin Card Sorting Test is supposed to be the most common executive measure in neuropsychological research. The test output gives us 16 various scores, which reflect different cognitive processes. Each score has been provided with normative data on American population. However, clinically the most valid scores are scores of perseveration: perseverative responses and perseverative errors. There is certain evidence of impaired performance in patients with frontal lobe damage, especially left-side. Additionally, assumptions arising from physiological studies on healthy people or patients with various types of neurological illnesses suggest WCST to be sensitive not only to impairment of prefrontal cortex but also to the impairment of prefrontalsubcortical circ.uit including thalamus and basal ganglia or the prefrnntalsu bt:orli ca 1 t:l...

Improving Services for End Users Using System Center
Toman, Martin ; Havránek, Martin (advisor) ; Ladislav, Ladislav (referee)
The weakest part of the process of preparing the new computer for users in the company Linet is long and hard installation of the operating system using tool Clonezilla, and then manual installation of required software. In addition, if the software update comes out, it needs to be installed on all computers manually. It is therefore necessary to find better and automated way of installing updates and preparing computers for users who will get the device earlier, software will be always up-to-date and IT staff will have extra time to solve other tasks. The company uses only the Windows operating systems from Microsoft, therefore was chosen a tool from the same company: Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. For testing was used virtual environment Hyper-V, in which there were created two servers: one for a functioning domain infrastructure and the other for tool Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager. Functionality was tested on Virtual stations Client#. After verifying the functionality of the tool it will be deployed into infrastructure of the company Linet.

Caring for High-Risk Newborns after Release from Hospital Treatment: A Parent's Perspective
MACUROVÁ, Štěpánka
My Bachelor?s thesis focuses on the issue of children with a development risk, and deals mainly with the care provided to these children after they are released from hospital. The thesis is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part defines important used terms. In the Perinatology chapter, general provisions are described as well as the system of perinatologic centres. To understand the topic, it is necessary to know the classification of infants and understand the manifestations and consequences of premature birth, so the second chapter provides basic information about neonatology. A separate chapter deals with the definition of chronological age and corrected age. These are important to secure proper monitoring of the child?s development. The development of prematurely born children differs from the development of children born in the standard term, and this fact must be taken into consideration. Nutrition is an important aspect for proper development. Recent trends especially stress breastfeeding of the child by its own mother. Information about nutrition and breastfeeding and the specifics of nutrition for prematurely born children are described in a separate chapter of the thesis. The following chapter deals with the issues related to releasing children with a development risk from hospital, and the care following their release. The care provided by a development care centre is emphasised. The last chapter provides a selection of the most common diagnoses experienced by prematurely born infants. The practical part contains qualitative research carried out by means of a semi-structured interview. The interviewed sample contains ten mothers of prematurely born children or children with other development risks. Respondents were women that I know, who regularly visit a development care centre with their children. A key selection criterion was the corrected age of the child, which had to be less than 24 months. The goal of the research was to evaluate the activity of the development care centre from the parents? perspective. A single research question was asked: Which deficiencies do the parents see in the activity of the development care centre. The collected data was analysed and lead to a clear conclusion and answer to the research question laid down in the thesis. The results of my research clearly justified the activity of development care centres, which are usually part of large maternity wards. The centres are accepted very positively in all aspects. The interviews also showed some deficiencies, which were described in the discussion and summarized in the conclusion. Since neonatology care is constantly improving, the ratio of surviving children with an extremely low or low birth weight is much higher than in the past. It is necessary to take into account that care does not end after the child is released from hospital. Premature birth carries many risks, which threated the child?s development. It is thus necessary to secure continuous care and monitor the child after release from hospital into home care. This topic has recently been often discussed. The mental development of the child is as important as the child?s physical development. It has been proved that prematurely born children may have some psychological problems. The conclusion summarizes the deficiencies that mothers find in the activities of development care centres, and describes recommendations that should lead to improvement of this care. These include a need for greater engagement of nutrition and breastfeeding counsellors, improved education of nurses employed in community care and improvement of the quality of cooperation with children?s physicians. I would recommend my thesis to the expert and general public. It could also be of use to students of nursing ? midwives, children?s nurses and others who are interested in the issues of children with a development risk.

Subsidy importance in rural development (Chanovice, Pačejov, Myslív and Velký Bor)
Koláříková, Markéta ; Kocmánková Menšíková, Lucie (advisor) ; Pavel, Pavel (referee)
The main goal of the study was to find out and compare the significance of the received subsidies in the development of Chanovice, Pačejov, Myslív and Velký Bor villages. My work in the first place dealt with subsidies as an important part of a village income and as a tool for their development. The theoretical part is based on the study of special literature and other relevant sources relating to the examined issues. Attention is given to regional development, within which the two programming periods (2007 2013 and 2014 2020) are compared and also the financing of villages. The knowledge gained in the theoretical part are followed by secondary data analysis, in which it was found that the received subsidies hold an important position in the structure of Chanovice and Pačejov village incomes in the two other villages that position is not so important. Thanks to received subsidies in the period 2007 2013 the villages implemented a lot of developing projects, either infrastructural (most Pačejov village) or other (especially Chanovice village) character. In the framework of the infrastructure based projects all municipalities used the subsidies to build and repaire their water and transport infrastructures. Another field where the municipalities aimed the subsidies was field of education. Based on semi-structured interviews with mayors of selected villages the empirical part of my work was worked out afterward. The mayors share the opinion that the village development especially the development connected with infrastructure, the subsidies are necessary, but the way to obtain them is very difficult and costly for the small villages
