Marketing strategies of non-profit organizations in the cultural sphere

Non-profit organizations play a very important role in all developed societies; however it is not easy to manage these organizations. Because of its non-profit nature, it has to generate external funds to realize its purpose. In the cultural field, there is a variety of non profit organizations which as a result to the increasing competition, had to focus on an appropriate communication. Because of reason, that marketing in non-profit organizations functions a relatively short time in comparison to profit organizations, marketing strategies and strategic planning does not have a clear direction. The aim of this thesis is to clarify the functioning of cultural non-profit organization on the example of the orchestra Prague Philharmonia and show its uneasy position next to its direct competitors which are contributory organizations funded by state or municipal sector, part of public organization or limited companies (Ltd.).

Analysis of Corporate Culture of Non-for-Profit Organization

This graduation thesis is considered with an analysis of corporate culture at non-for-profit organization. Present knowledge about corporate culture and methodical procedure of analysis of corporate culture in general are summarized at the theoretical part. Corporate culture of particular non-for-profit organization at stage of transformation is analyze at the practical part. There are described differences between corporate culture of commercial and non-for-profit organization. Final goal is to propose a procedure of turnover of corporate culture so the organization should get a competitive advantage.

The diploma work deals with analysis of marketing aktivities in the firm Hennlich Industrietechnik, s.r.o. targeting the communication with the customer, competition and inside the firm interior too. In the particular chapters there are solved the applications of the communication mix instruments, different approach of the managers to the marketing management in the separate branche offices, the efficiency of marketing activities and their influence on the firm turnover and profit. The work compares the economic results of the separate branch offices and looks for the continuity with the results of marketing aktivities. Further the work points out to the negatives and mistakes of the marketing and tries to find the way to the marketing efficiendy increase.

The goal is to map the current real estate market in Prague, analyzing the factors that influence the demand for real estate on the basis of data obtained while working in the Prague real estate agency. This information I want to use to improve our work, to facilitate an understanding of the requirements and needs of clients in the real estate market. The result should be greater competitiveness of our real estate agency who will be able to expand and profit in future.

The Use of Facebook as a Marketing Strategy

The main purpose of this thesis is answering the question whether the social network Facebook is a useful tool in marketing strategies. The thesis describes all of the basic functions of Facebook that can be used as a part of marketing strategy in both profit and nonprofit sectors. It also examines the competitive environment in this particular segment of the market including its advantages and disadvantages. In the last part, the thesis demonstrates on real campaigns how to sufficiently use the Facebook in marketing strategies and what tools can be used for analysing results of marketing campaigns.

Comparison of banking system in Australia and in the Czech Republic

The bachelor's thesis is focused on banking in Australia. It defines its main characteristics such as structure of financial market, commercial banking and reaction of the banking system to financial and economic crisis. Banking system of the Czech Republic is also characterized for following comparison with the Australian banking system. The last part of the thesis is focused on comparison of banking system in Australia and in the Czech Republic. There are main indicators such as comparison of central banks and models of financial supervision, structure of banking sectors, financial structure of banking sectors, concentration and competition in the markets, effectiveness and profitability, capital adequacy and indicator of liquidity.
